If you intend to do a large number of lengths then an early start is advisable to ensure you have enough time to complete your swim.

PARENTS — Please volunteer to assist with the counting while your child is in the pool — we will need two people for each lane.  It’s also the best view for cheering on your child!

REMEMBER TO HAND IN YOUR SIGNED CODE OF CONDUCT FORMS — WE ARE REQUIRED TO HAVE ONE BACK FOR EVERY MEMBER

There will be NO swimming club on the following dates.

Saturday 5th May

Monday 7th May

Saturday 2nd June

Monday 4th June

On these weeks the fee will be £3 as there will be only 2 sessions in those weeks.

The last swim of the term will be Thursday 21st June.

AGM

The AGM this year will be on Tuesday 15th May, 7.30pm, in Hallhill creche.

SPONSORED SWIM

This year’s sponsored swim will take place on Monday 21st and Thursday 24th May.

Please pick up your pack from the desk if you have not done so already.

CODE OF CONDUCT

Included in the sponsored swim envelope is a Code of Conduct form for both swimmers and parents.  These must be signed and returned to the club AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

SWIMMING CLUB CUPBOARD

The pool staff have very kindly moved our cupboard upstairs.  It is now situated to the right of the stairs to the games hall, on poolside, which is much more accessible.

We plan to use it as a notice board so please remember to keep an eye on it, although all information will still be posted on the website.

SUMMER BARBEQUE

We are planning for the summer barbeque to be on Sunday 17th June.  More details will follow shortly.

CIVIC WEEK

The Civic Week Fun Swim will be on the last day of term — Thursday 21st June.

Session time is 6.30 — 8pm and is open to the community so bring your friends along.

For non-members there will be a £2 charge and children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult.

Could we remind all trophy winners from the Championships that you should take the trophies in to Saddlers on Westport to be engraved.  The club will pay for all the engraving.
