Kerana Tergilakan IPAD, Bil Telefonnya Melambung

Posted by greenboc

Kerana terlalu inginkan sebuah iPad sempena Deepavali, seorang lelaki kini terpaksa menanggung bil telefon bimbit hampir RM2,000 selepas mengambil bahagian dalam peraduan menerusi talian telefon bimbit.

-SH

Training Partners in Malaysia
(Sacramento, CA, USA: October 11, 2011) The Linux Professional
Institute (LPI), the world's premier Linux certification
organization(http://www.lpi.org), and its affiliate, LPI-Asia
Pacific(http://www.lpi-apac.org/) announced new LPI-Approved Academic
Partnersin Malaysia: Faculty of Information Technology, Multimedia
University(MMU) and the Advanced Medical and Dental Institute,
Universiti SainsMalaysia (USM).
"Malaysia has long been a leader in the adoption of Open
Sourcetechnology within their public sector and LPI is pleased to be
part ofthat effort. In particular, these two new LPI training
partners fromMalaysia's leading academic institutions is indicative of
the efforts of our affiliate in the region, LPI-APAC, to reach out to
that country's IT training organizations," said Jim Lacey, president
and CEO of LPI. Mr. Lacey pointed out that LPI first announced a
partnership program for Malaysia's IT training organizations in
February (see:http://www.lpi.org/eng/about_lpi/what_s_new/lpi_develops_...)
Ibrahim Yusof of the MMU noted that Faculty of Information
Technologychose to align with the LPI certification program so as to
ensure thattheir students had the highest level of technical skills
possible:"Linux is an important tool for every IT or Engineering
graduate. Linuxis popular in Malaysia, especially with developers and
systemadministrators. Therefore, if you are LPI certified as
Linux-proficient, your career choices are that much wider."
MMU is Malaysia's first private university and since 1997 has
producedover 26,000 graduates. MMU is focused in the fields of
Engineering,Information Technology, Business and Management, Creative
Multimedia,Accounting, Law, Medical IT and Bio-Informatics. The
Faculty ofInformation Technology (FIST) at Melaka
(http://fist.mmu.edu.my) and the Faculty of Information Technology
(FIT) at Cyberjaya(http://fit.mmu.edu.my) will be providing Linux
training courses towards the LPI certification program.
Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) through the Advanced Medical andDental
Institute (AMDI: http://www.amdi.usm.edu.my/) also offers training
programs towards all three levels of LPI certification (LPIC-1, LPIC-2
and LPIC-3). USM was established in 1969 and has offered courses at
the undergraduate and postgraduate levels to approximately 20,000
students. Prof. Tan Sri Dato' Dzulkifli Abdul Razak, the
Vice-Chancellor of USM noted the growing importance of Open Source
Software in Malaysia as one of the reasons that the USM adopted an LPI
training program: ""Open source means that anyone can and has the
right to obtain access to the technology. It is not commodity-based
and is not just accessible to those who can afford it. This means
that we can share any technologies that have been developed for the
people and everyone has the same rights to use the technology."
Other LPI training partners in Malaysia include LPI Approved
TrainingParter (LPI-ATP) CBT-TECHNOLOGY.COM
(http://www.cbt-technology.com/) and LPI-ATP Asia Talk
(http://www.asiatalk.com.my/).
For more information on LPI's training partner program please
see:http://www.lpi.org/training
The Linux Professional Institute is globally supported by the
ITindustry, enterprise customers, community professionals,
governmententities and the educational community. LPI's certification
program issupported by an affiliate network spanning five continents
and isdistributed worldwide in multiple languages at more than 7,000
testinglocations. Since 1999, LPI has delivered over 290,000 exams and
95,000LPIC certifications around the world.

[Dunia-Digital] Panduan Melajukan Pelayaran Internet Anda

2011-10-12T20:43:00.000+08:00

Panduan Melajukan Pelayaran Internet Anda
http://bit.ly/lajuinternet

http://cikgucyber.blogspot.com/2011/10/panduan-melajukan-pelayaran-internet.html
Anda mahu lajukan lagi pelayaran Internet anda? Anda mahu kurangkan
"lagging" menunggu laman web yang anda lawati dibuka? Berikut
Pastikan
anda mencatatkan dahulu konfigurasi asal sebelum anda membuat
perubahan.
1) Tukarkan konfigurasi DNS komputer anda.
Konfigurasi Domain Name Service (DNS) adalah perkhidmatan yang
membantu komputer anda mengetahui dimana ia perlu capai laman web yang
anda mahukan.
komputer anda.
1.a) Menggunakan Google Public DNS
http://code.google.com/speed/public-dns/docs/intro.html
Pilih "Using Google Public DNS". Sila ikut arahan-arahan yang telah
disediakan bagi sistem operasi anda. Rujukan lain adalah artikel
berikut :-
Lajukan Internet Dengan Google Public DNS
http://cikgucyber.blogspot.com/2009/12/lajukan-internet-dengan-google-public.html

http://www.opendns.com/
dan terus ke laman web ini
https://store.opendns.com/setup/computer/

pelayaran Internet anda dikemas kini.
Antaranya
adalah :-

2.a) Google Chrome
http://www.google.com/chrome
2.b) Mozilla Firefox
http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/new/
2.c) Opera
http://www.opera.com/
Pelbagai lagi perisian pelayaran Internet anda boleh rujuk disini
http://alternativebrowseralliance.com/
3.a) Google Chrome
Pengguna Google Chrome boleh mencuba "FastestChrome Extension" yang
boleh dimuat turun disini
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/mmffncokckfccddfenhkhnllmlobdahm
Antaranya adalah kemudahan mendapatkan muka laman berikutnya tanpa
perlu menunggu anda klik muka laman berikut. Ia akan dilakukan secara
senyap sementara anda membaca muka laman sedia ada.
3.b) Mozilla Firefox
turun disini
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/fastestfox-browse-faster/
Seperti "FastestChrome Extension" ia turut menyediakan kemudahan
mendapatkan muka laman berikutnya tanpa perlu menunggu anda klik muka
laman berikut.

5) Periksa TCP/IP setting anda
http://www.speedguide.net/analyzer.php
Sila dapatkan
bantuan.
http://www.speedguide.net/

Gambar Profil Facebooknya Digunakan Oleh Sindiket Pelacuran

Posted by greenboc

Gambar peribadi FB jadi promosi perempuan jalang

-hm

Kurang Tidur Boleh Sebabkan Penyakit Jantung Dan Angin Ahmar

Posted by greenboc

Agensi

[Dunia-Digital] Fw: Al Kisah Sang Suami dan facebook sang isteri

2011-10-02T22:21:00.000+08:00

----- Original Message -----

From: ::-eSpAcE 9808-::

http://ilmudanulamak.blogspot.com

Soalan:

Salam ustaz, saya seorang suami.

Lihat; al-Jami' as-Saghier, hadis no. 5783).

Please Avoid Sending Me Word or PowerPoint Attachments

http://bit.ly/nowordsppt

The document thats you write in Excel, Access, and Power Point files,
you have sent as email attachment in email, is not an Internet mail
format. It is a proprietary format that is unreadable on several types
of computers, including those used by visually-impaired readers and
older computers used in foreign countries.

In most cases, the size of the file is substantially larger than a
plain-text file containing the same information. (Even if it LOOKS
like plain-text to you, chances are it is not, and contains a
considerable amount of unnecessary formatting codes, printer
information, etc.)

In addition, Word documents are often infected with viruses. Excel,
Access, and Power Point files are also vulnerable to infection.

Please "Save As" DOS Text, HTML or Portable Document Format (PDF) and
send the resulting file as an attachment. Another option is to simply
type your message directly into mail then you won't need to use an
attachment at all.

In the highly unlikely event that your document cannot be converted to
an open, non-proprietary format, consider posting it on a web page,
and sending e-mail with the URL which points to the file.

Thank you.

ps. Please forward to your friends.

Please avoid sending me Word or PowerPoint attachments. A Response

[Dunia-Digital] Fw: Car Buyers Beware: Nine Notorious Scams

Car Buyers Beware: Nine Notorious Scams

By Colleen Kane | CNBC Cars are big-ticket items, and there are many ways for fraudsters to bilk unsuspecting victims. The rise of Internet commerce has vastly expanded the ways to separate a mark from his money, and has effectively made Internet fraud a global business.

Consumer complaints rose 25 percent in 2010 and a complaint is filed every 90 minutes, according to a Consumer Reports article citing FBI stats. Regarding auto-related complaints, every hour a car buyer loses more than $1,000.

The online car sales company Cars.com employs a fraud team to help weed out the most fraudulent ads on its website.

"The number one piece of advice we can give for buyers and sellers is to listen to that inner voice that says, 'This is too good to be true,'" advises the site's spokesperson, Ron Hall, "because we've found that it always, always is."

While it may seem like a no-brainer, never purchase a car or send money for a vehicle without seeing it first. "You'd be surprised at how many people do that," he says.

The Cars.com fraud team put together this list of the most common scams in auto sales.

Keep in mind the schemes and tactics that follow are not mutually exclusive some scammers take pages from numerous playbooks.

Check Scam
Scams involving checks (i.e. personal, cashier's, third-party checks, money order) take many forms. In a typical example, a thief posing as a car buyer "accidentally" sends a check made out for an amount higher than the selling price of the vehicle and requests that the seller deposit the check and return the difference via a wiring service (Money Gram, Western Union, etc.). After the seller has wired the money, he or she learns the buyer's check is worthless, and the thief disappears with the seller's money.

The Snopes page dedicated to check scams (including the famous strain originating from Nigeria) recommends waiting three weeks for any sizable check to fully clear. Even if it looks like the funds are available in the bank account before that time, checks could still turn out to be counterfeit.

Sympathy Scam
Preying on the sympathy of a mark is one of the oldest tricks in the book. In a common auto scam, a thief posing as a seller supplies a sad story to a potential buyer about why he or she needs to sell the car quickly (he or she is about to be deployed on active military duty or is dealing with a divorce, illness, the death of a loved one, etc.). The sob story explains why the car's asking price is so much lower than its current market value, and puts pressure on the buyer to make a quick decision. Buyers who fall victim to this scheme can end up with a lemon, or with no car at all.

Shipping Scam
In the shipping scam, a thief posing as a seller requests a deposit on a vehicle and promises to ship the vehicle to the potential buyer for personal inspection within a set number of business days. Typically thieves will tell prospective buyers a third-party shipping company will be in contact with the buyer to ship the car after the deposit is sent via wire service. Scammers often use forged or copied websites to appear legitimate. An investigation by the BBC revealed criminal gangs are often the perpetrators of shipping scams and other types of auto fraud.

Purchase Protection Plan Scam
In this scheme, the con artist pushes a protection plan for the transaction. The potential buyer is encouraged to send a deposit for the full purchase price of the vehicle. The protection plan states that if the buyer does not receive the vehicle, he or she will be reimbursed for the total amount of the transaction invoiced. Common tools for this scam are fake websites that mimic real websites customers are comfortable with such as EBay, Edmunds, Google Checkout, Cars.com and NADA Guides.

Photo Scam
The photo scam happens when a vehicle is listed online, with the text giving a normal market rate of, say, $13,000, while the photo accompanying the ad shows a price written on it of $4,000. The thief tells the potential buyer the price of the vehicle is $4,000, saying it was reduced for some reason designed to elicit sympathy (e.g., a recent layoff or death in the family). The victim pays the reduced rate thinking it's a bargain, but then never receives the vehicle.

Location Scam
Another shady practice in car sales occurs when a potential buyer finds an ad for a vehicle that is for sale locally. After contact is made, the scammer tells the buyer the car is located someplace other than where it was advertised, but it can be shipped anywhere in the worldfor a fee, of course. The victim pays the money but never receives the car, and the thief gets away with the "fee."

Sight Unseen Scam
With this maneuver, fraudulent sellers make up a story about why they aren't able to physically show the vehicle due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., they're traveling for work, or they're away on active military duty, etc.). The sellers request that payment be sent in full and advises that the title will be sent when the vehicle is shipped. Now is a good time to reiterate the advice of the experts at Cars.com: Never purchase a car or send money for a vehicle without seeing it first.

Also, keep in mind that even though a vehicle may look OK, the background check should go further. Have a licensed mechanic check the car for damage or defects, and to ensure it's not a flooded car.

Wire Service Scam
Wire services such as Western Union and Money Gram are a favorite with scammers because financial transactions can be conducted anonymously and the recipient doesn't have to offer proof of any service rendered or goods exchanged in order to collect the cash. A wire service scam in auto sales involves a potential buyer receiving an invoice stating that wire services can be used to complete transactions online. The buyer is advised this is the common payment method used by the site. If the supposed car seller doesn't recommend using a legitimate escrow service, such as Escrow.com, to complete the transaction, it's probably best to carry on the car search elsewhere.

Phone Scam
In an auto sales phone scam, the thief provides a contact phone number for potential buyers to use to inquire about the vehicle for sale. With Cars.com, for example, a field for a phone number must be completed, so scammers might enter a fax line, or a number they've just made up. Then the potential buyer is forced to email, and the fraudulent seller will inform the buyer that they prefer to do business over email anyway, and the scam proceeds from there.

5 things we want to see from the iPhone 5

By Tecca

Features that will take the iPhone from good to great

The iPhone 5 could be announced as soon as October 4. Since it will be the first big announcement from new CEO Tim Cook, we can expect Apple to pull out all the stops to make the event as spectacular as possible. Still, though, all eyes will be on the iPhone's new features and capability. There is plenty of speculation already buzzing about the tech information highways about Apple's new smartphone, but these are the things we hope to see included on iPhone 5.

1. Wireless charging to go along with wireless syncing
We already know the new iPhone using iOS 5 can sync wirelessly with your computer. This basic functionality was announced at the Worldwide Developers Conference in June. You won't have to plug in that quirky Apple iPhone cable to move music, movies, and pictures back and forth between your phone and computer. Simply bring your iPhone nearby and let the operating system and iTunesautomatically do the work for you. It sounds pretty neat, and will go a long way toward making iPhone use more convenient.

In addition, we hope the iPhone will support wireless charging. The HP TouchPad had this capability. You just place the TouchPad on its charger and juice back up without needing to actually plug in any cables. While that might not sound like a big deal, wireless charging makes using your iPhone around the house infinitely more flexible. Since you won't use wires to sync your iPhone, it would be awfully nice to go completely cord-free to keep your iPhone charged as well.

2. Improved camera
The operating system included on the iPhone 5 will have some seriously nice features for iPhone photographers. An automatic rule-of-thirds overlay will provide visual cues to making your photos more dynamic and interesting. The new iCloud service will make your photos automatically available across your Apple devices, giving you faster, more convenient access to pictures no matter what gadget you happen to be using. You'll also be able to use your volume button as a shutter release, access the camera from the lock screen, and enjoy improved auto-focus.

With all these cool photography enhancements, we really hope to see the iPhone get some serious camera improvements. While the high quality of iPhone photographs has never been about raw megapixels, an improvement in resolution would still be a good thing. Purportedly leaked iPhone 5 photos demonstrate aperture close to that of point-and-shoot cameras. Some flash improvementswouldn't hurt, either. Essentially, though, we'd like to see the iPhone 5 camera take a step closer to being a good, universal camera for family use, completely obliterating the need to carry a point-and-shoot camera in addition to our smartphone.

The iPhone 4 has left big shoes to fill

3. Unlocked out of the gate
It took Apple quite a while to release an unlocked iPhone 4 to the general masses. It wasn't until June this year that you could pick up an unsubsidized iPhone, leaving you free to use it with any carrier. The ability to choose your own service provider is nearly ubiquitous throughout the rest of the world, but Americans are typically chained to a given contract when they initially buy the phone.

On behalf of travelers and carrier switchers alike, it would be awesome if the iPhone 5 came out of the gate unlocked. We've heard rumors that companies like Sprint may also carry the iPhone 5. If enough carriers already have their own iPhone 5 access, an unlocked iPhone simply makes sense.

4. Near-field communication
Near field communication (NFC) is a relatively new technology that provides wireless communication between two devices. The concept behind NFC is that you have an inanimate object, like a card, poster, or label, and a gadget which serves as a reader. Objects targeted by the reader don't need power to be read, which is what would allow the target to be embedded in just about anything you can imagine. The target gets its power from the reader itself, extracting power from the wireless signal. Once the target is turned on this way, it can send data back to the reader. It might sound like scanning barcodes, but NFC will be much more flexible and secure. You can do a lot more with this kind of communication method than you could with a simple barcode.

Google just released its Google Wallet service, which allows your cellphone to replace participating credit and debit cards. The service is still in its infancy, but Google Wallet won't be the only NFC payment service to crop up. As NFC becomes more popular and attainable among retailers and businesses, it will become increasingly common to accept payment through a smartphone instead of an obsolete plastic credit card. This technology is something that the iPhone 5 should be helping pioneer. NFC will continue to spread in industry, and the iPhone needs to be able to say "there's an app for that."

Could an iPhone nano be in the works?

5. A little brother
Our final wish for the iPhone 5 is, essentially, a little brother. Since the cost tiers for iPhone models are proportional to its internal storage capacity, a smaller iPhone based on cloud storage seems like it would be the least expensive option. That's what the rumored iPhone nano is all about. Working hand-in-hand with iCloud to keep files on the internet and streaming the content to your phone, the iPhone nano would obviate the need for big onboard memory.

The smaller, less-expensive iPhone nano wouldn't be for everyone, of course. Some people really do need reliable internal memory on their iPhone. That being said, cloud storage is pretty hip and convenient, and more options are always a good thing.
