Here we sit patiently enduring the malaise of our sluggish market. We’re now about $5,000 below assessed value and still only about one showing a week. We need to get back to Durango and get to work. Oh well…. God’s timing will be perfect!!

It’s interesting. The home is well priced for the market, well located and in good condition yet it languishes on the market with little to no activity. It’s easy to see how sellers get discouraged.

Did I mention that having your home ready for sale, updated and in a good location, not to mention well priced and below what it would appraise for is pretty annoying when no one is looking? Especially when we have as much experience selling houses as we do! But! No worries. The buyer will show up at just the right time!!

Preparation for Durango!

Jeanne is deep in thought! Writing about our favorite place in the world Durango Colorado. We’ll be back in town with everything in place to get back in the groove listing and selling by around April 1. We’ve been gone too long. She nearly died back a couple of years ago. It’s been a real struggle emotionally and financially but she’s nearly completely well and we’re on the way back. All we have to do is sell our house here and get our license again in Colorado which will take place in the next month.

After several years away we’re excited to be gearing up and inching closer to our imminent return to our Beloved Durango. Can’t wait to feel the cool crisp mountain air and ease back into small town life in the most beautiful spot on earth near the Four Corners of the Mountain States.
