Oompa-Loompa in NYC

The Jonas Brothers were playing a show in Bryant Park this morning for Good Morning America. The place was overflowing with teenage girls and Oompa Loompas. Truthfully I only saw this one. I’m not sure what he was pushing on the youth of America, but hopefully he wasn’t trying to lure them with everlasting gob stoppers.

Here is another shot from my trip to Italy. This pool was as cool and inviting as it looks. With temperatures in the 90’s all day, the water was nice and warm after the sun went down. After dinner our villa became *the* place to hang out and drink for the people staying at the castle, and the pool was a good place to rally the troops.

This shot was taken near the tiny village of Sant’Angelo. Typical of the beautiful sunsets in region, I really liked the light, and the pattern of the crops in the foreground. When taking a shot like this, it helps to keep the final composition in mind. Some cropping of the scene will usually be needed to remove the extra sky or foreground… but the width of the image remains intact. The idea is to keep as many pixels as you can, so the prints will retain as much detail as possible.
