The Ballentines are one of my best clients (here, here, & here) and some of our closest friends, so it didn’t take me much convincing to do a last minute photo session with them to document the visit of their great-grandma. I won’t give away her age, but she has both spunk and beauty well beyond her years! I also loved being able to photograph the girls again, it is so neat to watch them grow into such beautiful young women. Love you guys.

I had the great pleasure of photographing sweet Zoe Belle on Sunday. The pleasure was mine not only because she is an adorable baby girl of a wonderful family, but she is also my niece. In fact, she is my son Hudson’s first and only cousin (so far). They were born just nine weeks apart, and my wife jokes that they will be BFFs. I approached this session with a slightly different style than usual. We got some cute shots of Zoe on blankets with some fancy outfits, but for the most part the props were kept to a minimum and we used a more documentary, lifestyle approach.

Love those baby fingers & toes!Isn’t she a doll?The outfit Zoe is wearing is actually the same one that her mother came home from the hospital in when she was born. I love it when families incorporate personal things like this, it adds so much to the impact that the images have.

The Millers are a wonderful family we met shortly after moving to Aledo. We photographed mom, dad, and their beautiful children on a gorgeous afternoon back in December. I loved their coordinating outfits which went perfectly with their Christmas cards. Thank you guys!How adorable are they?

We had the pleasure of photographing the Myser family on a beautiful fall day here in Aledo. Gorgeous morning sunlight + gorgeous family = gorgeous pictures. Scott and Sarah are a sweet couple we know from church, and they are both Aggies (so they’re already good in my book). Well, it has been quite a year and quite a long time away from my blog! My wife and I built a house, moved, and had our first born son all within the last 9 months. I’m excited to get back to blogging the sessions with the wonderful people I’ve been able to photograph, and I could not be more excited than starting with the Willours. They are dear friends of Sarah’s and mine, and we were able to get some great shots of them for their 10th wedding anniversary at the First United Methodist Church of Weatherford (the same church they got married in)!

We’ve had the pleasure of covering this family several times over the last few years, and it is such a joy seeing them grow. You may remember Tucker’s newborn pictures from January, well now he is 8 months old and was ready for some awake time in front of the camera. This is the first session we’ve done in our new house, and I loved being able to use our wood floors. Check out these adorable kids!

I’d like to highlight one of the BEST ways for families to enjoy the photos from their session and have a keepsake that will perfectly preserve a moment in their lives. One of the products I offer are gorgeous, hard bound photo books. My photo books have hinged, lay-flat pages with a variety of hard cover options. They are produced on some of the best printers in the industry and are of far better quality than press-printed books from discount websites. I also design each book individually to make sure that the photos are expertly arranged.

This is a book I made for the Ballentine family, who I have covered in several previous sessions (see here, here and here). This book was a great way for them to capture a year of their family in photos for both themselves and their house guests to enjoy. Just think how wonderful it would be to have custom, personalized “year books” for your children and family for each year of their growth!

Well, it’s been quite a year in the Bush household, and I’m afraid to say my blog has suffered! I’m thrilled to finally be posting these images from Ashley & Kris’s fabulous New Year’s Eve wedding in San Antonio, Texas. This was a fun, beautiful gathering of friends and family, and I was honored to be there to capture it all.

Ashley & Kris both hail from Auburn University, it was so neat seeing their school spirit show through their wedding!Ashley’s veil was actually her mom’s. I love it when brides are able to use family heirlooms.I LOVE the expressions in this image. Happy Mother’s Day

Just wanted to wish a Happy Mother’s Day to all of the moms out there. You are incredibly special, and your love does not go unnoticed. In a way, it is also my wife Sarah’s first Mother’s Day, as she is about 16 weeks along with our first child. Pregnancy looks good on her!

Tucker Newborn

Had our first newborn session with baby Tucker. He was just over a week old but his actual due date wasn’t until the day of the shoot! We really enjoyed spending time with this little man and capturing his sweet expressions.
