Gert is a Dutch illustrator and brand identity designer. He’s been into graphic design since the mid 90′s but has been scribbling signs & symbols before he could walk. Nancy Kers is a very talented illustrator from Schiedam, The Netherlands. She studied at the Willem de Kooning Art Academy in Rotterdam between 1998 and 2002 and graduated as an illustrator. After graduating she started working as a freelance illustrator and she still does.

Mark Beernink is a 22 year old graphic designer from Ootmarsum, The Netherlands. His interest in graphic design started during elementary school where he was drawing cartoon characters. Last year he graduated from the Applied Arts & Technology Academy in Enschede.

Mark is familiar with the entire Adobe suite, but his work tells us that he prefers Photoshop. He uses his Wacom Graphics Tablet a lot and has his own made sets of brushes, textures and stock photos. Mark also creates websites, logos and layouts for various magazines.

The Design Museum in London celebrates the prolific career of the Dutch graphic designer Wim Crouwel. As one of the leading designers of the twentieth century, Crouwel embraced a new modernity to produce typographic designs that captured the essence of the emerging computer and space age of the early 1960s.

Spanning over 60 years, the exhibition covers Crouwel’s rigorous design approach and key moments in his career including his work for design practice Total Design, the identity for the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam, as well as his iconic poster, print, typography and lesser known exhibition design. The exhibition will explore Crouwel’s innovative use of grid-based layouts and typographic systems to produce consistently striking asymmetric visuals.

Daniël Matakupan is a 24 year old graphic designer from Leeuwarden, The Netherlands. Daniël has got expercience with graphics for about 5 years. His work are most inspired by fashion, music, poetry, life itself and other great designers who have the same passion as he does. At the moment he studies Communication & Multimedia Design at NHL Hogeschool in Leeuwarden.

His style of design is very colorful, warm and soft and have been featured in magazines such as Publish Magazine (a Dutch design magazine).
