Cherating Getaway 2010

Another outdate post again....

This time is my Cherating getaway with my college mate during last year Dec.

Beach is much more cleaner compared to PD.

The chalet that we are staying is so-so only. Since this is a budget trip hence can't complain much. hahahahaha.

But if i can spend more $$$, definately I will go for Club Med instead. ;p

The trip is more like a relaxing cum makan trip.
Apart from those, we also when for Firefly cruise.
We also paln to visit the turtle scantuary, but too bad it was close due to public holiday.
No change to see those cute baby turtle jor. ;p

Taking about the Firefly Cruise, the hotel staff actually recon us to go for Hafiz.
Is just 5 mins walk from our chalet.
We gather at Hafiz's office cum house @ 8 pm plus.
Before we depart, he brief us on the do and don't, fireflies and their ecosystem.
Luckily not a long lecture. If not ar sure die of boredom.
After half a hours, our cruise begin. U get to see those fireflies blinking here and there
like Christmas tree. Totally awesome.

Food wise not so much choice to choose from. Mostly Malay, Western and seafood.
Can't find any Chinese food around.
In term of their service is super duper slowpoke especially the first restaurant that we when for dinner during the first nite. Almost mati kelaparan jor. T.T
Overall the food that we had during the whole trip is just so-so only. Not special to brag about.

Hakone

Our first destination after landed in Narita Airport is Hakone. Me and my colleagues are being transported to this beautful place for our lunch and sightseeing.

Oops, I know I'm not writing in sequence. But who cares, I wanna blog about my Nikko trip first. :p .

Okie back to Hakone . . .divided between Mount Fuji and Izu Pennisula, Hakone is one of the most popular inland tourist resorts in Japan. It is accessable from Tokyo via JR & Odakyu line. Not to forget Express bus too.

Not sure how much it cost. Since I'm following tour bus hence I don't have to worries about transportation to Hakone. hehehe

It took us about 1 hours and 30 mins to reach Hakone.

The first thing we do in Hakone is makan (Eating time)

Lunch was nice, we had sakana (Fish), soba, rice and some other veg and fried stuffs together with plum wine.

Well the plum wine have this medicine taste. not really like it.

After eating is camwhore timing. . .hahaha

Boat ride in Lake Ashi

After sightseeing and snapping photos around Lake Ashi, we are given a choice to either A) go to Gotemba for shopping or B) Owakudani a place where you can get a clear view of Mount Fuji on a clear days. It is also an active volcanic zone where sulfurous fumes, hot springs and hot rivers are also part of the ecosystem.

Well I choose the first option. TBC . . . .

Finally I'm back from Japan. LOVE it very much.

Can't wait to go back again and again. lolz

Since this is a company trip, most of the place we are going I already been before. Except Ikebukuro and Tokyo Disneyland.

Hence, I decided to extended 2 more days in Tokyo and explore Kamakura and Nikko.

And there mark my journey to Nikko . . . .

The train ride from Asakusa station to Tobu-Nikko

I decided to buy the All Nikko Pass so that I can explore all the tourist attraction in Nikko.

I brought the ticket at Tobu sightseeing service center in Asakusa and it cost me about 4,400 yen and valid for 4 days.

The pass included unlimited train ride from Asakusa to Tobu-Nikko and also unlimited bus ride to Yumoto-Onsen and Chuzenji-Onzen.

Took me about 2 hours to reach Tobu-Nikko.

When I step out from the station, I can feel the cold breeze.

Is super cold . . . .

Most probably is approaching Winter soon.

Oh well nothing can stop me from explore Nikko. lolz

So after exploring Odashirogahara plateau. My next stop is Chuzenjiko.

Didn't managed to explore much around Chuzenjiko, as is getting dark soon. 5 pm already as dark as 7 and 8pm in Malaysia. Sighz, didn't get to go to Kegon Waterfall, Ryuzu Waterfall, Shinkyo Bridge and all the Shrines in Nikko.

Maybe I didn't research much before going to Nikko. Moreover, I got carry away with the scenery in Senjogahara plateau and spend quite sometime taking photos hence this affect my plan on visiting some other attraction in Nikko. T.T

1 day trip is definitely not enough for me. :p How I wish to extend my stay in Nikko but to bad need to catch the last train back to Minami Senju as I'll be flying back to Malaysia the following day.

Really wish can go back to Nikko very soon. Wanna snap more nice pics. ;p

p/s: Remember to pee first before decided to conquer Odashirogahara Plateau because there is no toilet in between. :p

Me vs contact lens

I always have this phobia called EYEBALLTOUCHINGPHOBIA.
It always give me a goosebumps every time seeing a person putting on the contact lenses. The feeling of someone hand inserting something in the eye really scared me off.

That why all this while I never use contact lenses.

I'm more like a specky guy. :p

But hor, I think I don't look good wearing spec. Therefore I tend to take off my glasses when taking photos.

Hum,Everytime do that also not a good solution cause once I took off my glasses my vision become very the blur. sighz. If only i got money to do laser. hahahaha

Anyway the cheapest ways now to look good without glasses is to wear a pair of cons. Hence in order for me to do that, I need to overcome my fear. :P

So now I need to get myself a pair of cons first.

Tattoo, Wohoo!!!

I always wanted to have a tattoo.
But then right I'm afraid of the pain . . . I heard people fainted during the process of tattoo~ing.
Some more what happen if I already tattoo and after few years later I decided to remove it. Sure very troublesome and more pain again. hahahaha

Humm, I still want to have a tattoo . . .

Then one day when I was reading some blogger posting, I stumble across this website

I wait and wait and wait

After few weeks, my parcel arrived safe and sound. phew~

They even give me one extra tattoo (the skull) for FOC
LOVE their service.
:) :)

Of course I also can wait to try it on.

Application also quite simple.

1. Remove the clear top sheet
2.Press the tattoo with design facing down and wet it thoroughly.
3. Use a wet cloth against the back of tattoo and after 30 mins peel off the paper backing.
4. Then rinse the tattoo with water

Check out the end result . . . .

Too bad the tattoo can only last for a week.

Of course depending on how u take care of it. I bet if you don't bath or scratch the tattoo definitely it can last longer. ;p

Finally after some long absence from the blog world, it time for me to blog about my Japan trip. wohoo!!!!!

Suppose to go with two friends but the due to some unforeseen circumstances end up I went there alone. My first ever backpacking alone in a foreign country.

Took me about 8 hours to reach Japan via Airasia X. When I reached Haneda Airport is was almost 11 pm (due to Air Asia resheduling their flight). But luckily few weeks before my departure date, I managed to booked a hotel which is quite near to the airport for a night and only move to a slightly budget accommodation the next day.

During my 1 week trip in Japan, I mostly travel around Tokyo, kawagoe & Mount Fuji.

Is a polaroid cam from Fujifilm.
Instant Mini 25 . . . . .
Cost me about RM 480 for the cam and 1 box of film.
I brought it via online after surveying for quite sometimes.
Well the camera is not that expensive only the film is.
1 box cost about RM28 and you only can snap 10 times only.

Quick update of self in the month of October:-
1. ~~Jobless~~. Well not really jobless lah just waiting for the new job to start in Nov. hahaha

During my last day, my colleagues give me a box containing Japanese snacks. So sweet of them. ;p

And I even need to do alot of those celebrities pose tim. arghhh . . . . . . But we had lots of fun.

2. Just celebrated my 28th birthday. woohoo I'm older already. T.T

Not to forget also my colleagues for the duit angpao, family members and friends for the wishes.

3. Meet when an accident while on the way to pickup a friend in Klang for gathering on my birthday. How unlucky can my birthday be. Lucky no one was injuries. phew~ But then my friend really "dai chut huit" cause have to pay for saman and also to repair her car.

4. Got myself some ~~sex toys~~ gadgets. Fujifilm instant camera and ipod 4.

5. Join back gym again. Now with the new job it would be easier for me to go to gym. wakakaka.

Just back from Singapore last week.

Woot~
Initially suppose to go Bkk with a bunch of friend one but due to the red army crisis in BKK we have no choice to cancel our plan and to change location.

p/s: There goes my shopping spread. ;p

Then me and another friend suggested to go sg. But the rest are not that keen to go holidaying in Sg. But we when ahead with our plan to sg instead.

Day 1 arrived at Changi Airport.

Headed to Bugis to get the MRT tourist passes.

Their transportation is super duper good okies. Remind me of London tubes. Lolz

After getting the travel pass, we check in to out hotel at Geylang.

I know is a red light district areas but hey the hotel rate there are much more cheaper. ;p

And those hooker would not bother us as well. They only interested in uncles. lolz

Next we headed to Orchard for sightseeing. Spend almost a day walking around the areas.

What to do so many shopping complexes to enter. hahaha

2nd day- spend almost whole day at Universal studio.

Snapping photos, enjoying the rides and snapping photos.

lolz.

Got to meet those penguins from Madagascar. ;p

and king Julian.

Love them. hahahaha.

We also manage to hang out awhile in Vivo City.

3rd Day when to Marina Bay . . . Suppose to go to Marina Sand but we took the wrong bus and headed to Marina Barrage instead.

It was actually a nice place a man made reservoir with a nice park on top. Can see lots of people there flying ~~airplane~~ kites, picnic and enjoy themselves.

Really like it there. ^^

Besides that we also headed to Raffles places to see the famous Merlion status, Clarke Quay and Chinatown.

We ordered quite alot of stuff but luckily we managed to finish it off.

The soup taste not bad.

All time favourite. Sashimi salad with zenmai dressing.

Not bad also.
