D.V.V.Danayya is producing this movie from may 2012 on his universal media banner and it would be released for Dasara, this year in october.Pawan plays a honest and witty tv news reporter in the midst of channels filled with yellow journalism in this flick.

Titled as 'Cameraman Gangatho Ramababu', the name itself has generated huge sparks in Film Nagar. According to reports, Pawan Kalyan gave an immediate consent to this title and as expected, Pawan Kalyan is Journalist Rambabu in the film. What needs to be known is whether the other character, ie., cameraman Ganga is a male or a female. If it is another male, then there is no doubt the film will become a multi-starrer as Puri generally casts sparkling actors for such roles.

If it is female, then the movie may get the color of Tamil movie RANGAM, is the talk of Film Nagar now. 'We cannot describe the excitement in words. A big 'ooooooo' for Puri Jagan is what we can say and this is our dream to see our heartthrob actor in the direction of Puri...', stated a Pawan Kalyan fan with overwhelmed joy.

Movie Review: Rahul Kapoor ( Imran Khan) is a 25-year-old boy. He brushes his teeth three times and irons his socks and underwear - everything that his parents want him to do. He is like a puppet living out their dreams and desires. So when he meets Riana Braganza ( Kareena Kapoor) who has dumped six Mr Rights and is everything he is not, sparks obviously fly. Trite, trite, right? Wrong.

With only the faintest trace of the Hollywood hit, What Happens in Vegas (2008), Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu shows what first-rate direction and a cute but brave script can do to the done-to-death story of opposites getting attracted to each other. EMAET has heart, charm and an enviable lightness of being. And it certainly helps that the lead players are in fine form. Like quality wine, Kareena seems to improve with every passing year though you find shades of Geet (Jab We Met) in her part. And Imran brings just that right amount of balance to the difficult part of an uptight, gawky individual who evolves with every passing day. The movie is essentially his journey from boy to man. With its neon lights and flash, Las Vegas too is an important character adding to the film's mood and melody.

Story:

An alright tale, the story begins with Shiva (Sudhir) who sees Shruti (Regina) in a train journey and falls for her. He lies that he is an army officer and Shruti also lies that she is an airhostess. But at later point, both discover their true identities and from then on, they try their best to pull each other down. In this process, Shruti begins to get attracted to Shiva and falls in love with him. But when the time comes for Shruti to confess her love, the acts of Shiva make her hate him. Does Shiva get back Shruti's love? Will Shruti give another chance? All this forms the rest of the story.

Artist performances:

Sudhir Babu has come up with a positive performance and he has shown his mettle. Regina looks specially beautiful and her expressions are very appealing. Vennela Kishore was hilarious and gave light moments. Rohini was a bit annoying. Kasi Viswanadh made his presence felt. The actor Vinay Mohan doing Sudhir's friend's role was excellent. Hemanth was brief but good. The others didn't have much to offer.

Story:

Artist performances:

Prakash Raj is all over and he has displayed his versatility to the fullest. Master Akash was confident and he made his presence felt. Radhika Apte looks beautiful and she gave a commendable act. Gollapudi Maruthi Rao was matured. Brahmanandam brought few smiles. Nasser was natural. Tanikella Bharani was apt. The others did their bit as required.

Story

Jai (Pawan Kalyan) is an orphan who joins the gang of Bhagawan (Jackie Shroff) when he was a kid. Jai eventually becomes the loyal lieutenant of Bhagawan over a period of time. Bhagawan’s son Munna (Sesh Adivi) has psychotic tendencies. Jai falls in love with green-loving Sandhya (Sara Jane Dias). Jai has to fall out with Bhagawan due to Munna. Movie Review: Deadly dives into the oceans, a freaky thunderstorm high up in the sky, a flight on a funky helicopter gone wrong, gold showers from the sky, big butterflies, rides on giant honey bees, elephants the size of pets, giant lizards laying eggs that look like rocks.... In short, a dazzling, visual treat. Now that's one reason why Journey 2: The Mysterious Island is nothing less than a joyride, just in case you could not get enough from its 2008 prequel Journey to the Centre of the Earth. As for the storyline there ain't much in store. But then was the journey even meant to look beyond its visual appeal, especially when it's 3D in question!

Josh Hutcherson once again plays Sean Anderson, a rebellious teen and scientific explorer who sets out on a mission to find the mystery island in the middle of nowhere. And tagging along is none other than the step-dad Hank, a shoddy airline pilot ( Luis Guzman) and his daughter ( Vanessa Hudgens). But then journeys into the unexplored have never been that easy. In this case the team of explorers have got to fight big animals, massive earthquakes, electric-executing sharks and the ultimate threat wherein the island is on its way to get submerged... along with its treasures unlimited.

So what exactly is this journey all about? Is it about relationships -- a restless teenager son (Sean Anderson) and his stepfather (Hank) or Sean and his love at first sight experience with Kailani (Vanessa Hudgens)? Or is it about discovering areas unexplored -- what could possibly give one more joy than a life of bliss in the lost city of Atlantis. Don't miss out the India connection in there! Or better still, is it about some nail bitting rescue moments when the lone inhabitants of the island try to overcome tectonic shockwaves.

You don't really try finding out as long as the dazzling visual 3D effect keeps you entertained.

Tip off: Fun as long as the 3D journey -- through blue waterfalls and volcanoes erupting gold -- lasts.

Movie Review: Plot spoiler: Watch it only if you feel the best way to capture the dark human psyche is through a somewhat raw work of video recording.It's not just about inventive film making; it's also about a) 18-year-olds who want things to move their way b) 18-year olds with (super) powers that corrupt them to the core. Teenagers Andrew Detmer (DeHaan), Matt ( Alex Russell) and Steve ( Michael B. Jordan) think the best way to relive every day is to capture moments on a video camera.

Naturally then they end up capturing a mysterious hole in the ground too. Perhaps a little reason to get disappointed for you don't really get to know what eerie stuff happens in there that eventually gives the boys predator like powers. But even before you can guess, the boys are all out doing what they have been longing since time immemorial -- slapping one and all, throwing toys off supermarket shelves and flying across the sky. So far so good till the actual realisation of power sets in. What follows next is time for destruction and time to own up to the mess.

While the boys bring out the excitement of the next door teenagers (who get kicks out of simple pranks) and the I-am-the-master syndrome (one chooses to call himself the apex predator), it's back to the camera work that grows with every scene -- from the initial bedroom confessions of teens to the special effects of the big, bad teen act -- cars smashing, window panes being ripped apart, buildings turning into dust....

Story: A politician wants a room in the home of bank cashier Bharat (Akshaye Khanna) to set up his election office in a Bhopal locality. When the latter refuses, he influences the cops to harass him in a rather bizarre manner: Bharat must bribe the police to get back a table fan that was allegedly stolen from his house years ago.

Movie Review: For many weeks, the anti-corruption campaign grabbed premium space in newspapers last year. And in times when movies often seem to be chasing yesterday's headlines, a feature film on corruption faced by the aam aadmi is on rather expected lines. It is no surprise, therefore, that the hero in Gali Gali Chor Hai is named Bharat - his travails symbolizing all that a common man endures in a country ruled by wicked politicians and crooked cops.

Director Rumy Jafry, better known as the writer of box-office winners such as Golmaal Returns, Bade Miyan Chhote Miyan, Hero No 1 and many more, takes recourse to satire to show how a simple middle-class family can be forced to make the rounds of the police station and the court if it ends up on the wrong side of the powerful.

The movie, which was shown to Anna Hazare at a special screening, starts off promisingly with the pro-activist title-track sung by Kailash Kher and there is some fizz in the initial exchanges between Bharat and his father (Satish Kaushik) and the local politicians-cum-goons.

But soon the movie loses its comic timing. Bharat's playing Hanuman in the local Ramleela becomes a diversion from the main plot. So does the character played by Mugdha Godse, a hottie paying guest at Bharat's home who ends up creating a rift between Bharat and wife ( Shriya Saran). Even the impressive supporting cast Satish Kaushik and Annu Kapoor, who relishes the part of a corrupt havaldar, fail to rise above the script's mediocrity.

Akshaye Khanna returns after a hiatus with plenty of hair on his head and lots of earnestness on his face. You like him - as perhaps Anna would -- when he delivers a stinging slap each to the crooked cop and the scheming politico. Shriya neatly fits into the part of a small-town housewife, in the process offering the rare sight of a new Bollywood heroine dressed in a maxi, the shapeless morning attire of millions of middle-class women across small-town India. And Veena Malik does her bit to improve Indo-Pak relations in the item track, Mehngi hui hai angraee, jab se Chhanno hai khirki pe aayee (music: Anu Malik).

But in the end, Gali Gali Chor Hai doesn't live up to its promise. Just like the anti-corruption movement at the moment.

Movie Review: In the island of Mandwa, a little off the shore of Bombay, a righteous schoolteacher is framed and hung by a tree in punishing rain as his 12-year-old son Vijay weeps uncontrollably at his feet. The key instigator of this lynch-mob execution is crime-lord Kancha Cheena (Sanjay Dutt). In these parts, he plays god, though, he always acts like the devil.

Scarred forever, the boy, Vijay Dinanath Chauhan -- Hrithik Roshan when he grows up -- is consumed by a desire for revenge as he leaves for Bombay with his pregnant mother. Every breath he takes, every move he makes, thereafter, is guided by that desire for retribution. Nothing can stop him, not even his mother abhorring his ways, as he heads towards a frenetic and gruesome confrontation with Kancha.

Remakes are tricky affairs. Expectations are invariably high and comparisons are inevitably made. Old-timers hope to find the scent of a pleasing memory. And those watching it with a fresh pair of eyes expect it to be a cut above the general fare, something worthy of a remake. It's a tough ask.

But the new Agneepath isn't a cyclostyled copy of the 1990 film which was made by Yash Johar -- producer Karan Johar's father -- and which won Amitabh Bachchan a national award. The new movie walks its own line. New characters emerge. One of them is Rauf Lala played by Rishi Kapoor. With kajal in his eyes and poison on his tongue, Kapoor makes for a remarkable authentic villain as the goon cum girl-trafficker. Some lovable characters of the earlier edition are dumped. You don't have Krishnan Iyer MA Nariyalwala, the part that won Mithun Chakraborty a Filmfare Award.

But debutant director Karan Malhotra works hard with the new script that he has co-penned. There's both style and craft in the way he builds the film's opening and closing scenes. You feel you are in the middle of a real execution. And he gets honest work from the acting ensemble, including Priyanka Chopra who works hard to impress in the small role of a sex-worker's smart daughter. But the movie's standout performer is Sanjay Dutt. Bald, tattooed and dressed in all black, he turns the main villain Kancha Cheena into a profile in evil.

But Dutt's performance doesn't entirely help the movie's cause. On the contrary, it upsets Agneepath's symmetry. Compared to him, the more restrained and refined Hrithik, normally a competent performer, often appears pale. Vijay is obsessed with killing Kancha. That single-minded obsession doesn't come across. The protagonist is carrying a wound in his heart. There is no evidence of it on Hrithik's face. In the 1990 Mukul Anand version, the young and old Vijays blended seamlessly into each other. Here they don't.

Innovatively lensed, partly in Diu, Agneepath is a visual delight. But there's no greater feast for the eyes than Katrina Kaif, who shakes and trembles in delirious delight to the aptly-named track, Chikni Chameli. It's a paisa vasool performance guaranteed to make millions of men happy, and not just in small-town single screen theatres.

Story:

The story is nothing new but 3 IDIOTS. Pani (Vijay) is an intelligent student in the Ideal College of Engineering. His classmates Nikhil (Jeeva) and Venkat (Sri Ram) become his close friends. Nikhil hails from a very poor family while Venkat comes from a middle class family. Pani has stinking rich background and excels very well in studies as well.

Srinu, who is known as silencer is another good student who competes with Pani in marks. In an emotional tiff, Srinu challenges Pani that he would settle very well in life than anybody else in the college. He demands Pani to come to a place on September 5th after 10 years to check who settle well. What happens after 10 years, unleashes the rest of film.

On the other hand Pani falls in love with the daughter (Ileana) of his college Principal Viroopaksha Sundaram (Satyaraj).

Artist performances:

Vijay is ok but for the eyes those watched Aamir Khan in original he will be repugnant. Ileana is not impressive. Her zero size figure is no way spilling any erotic rays. Jeeva is adequate while Sri Ram is perfect. Satya Raj did his part very well taking inspiration from the original perfectly. Rest of the artistes and technicians did well up to the requirement.

Movie Review: Don 2 is a classic action/crime thriller that doesn't let go, even for a moment. More importantly, the plot has been finely crafted, with every twist and turn falling into place like a complicated albeit neat little jigsaw. With a canvas that goes on a cross-country ride -- Thailand, Malaysia, Zurich, Berlin -- the film challenges you to hop aboard its high speed scuttle and attentively follow the exploits of its glamorous gangster. One who oscillates between two avatars -- Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible) and James Bond -- without losing out on his desi charisma.

The high point of the film is Shah Rukh's delineation of the character of the Don. The actor interprets him as an arrogant, agile, wicked and wild dare-devil who has the most bizarre schemes up his sleeves. But that's not all. He also has the chutzpah to carry them through. Taking off from the climax of the first film, the gangster resurfaces in Thailand after a suitable time span, creates mayhem and then, in an unprecedented and inexplicable move, surrenders before his old enemies (cop Roma), only to be sent to a Malaysian prison. Get ready for a breath taking prison-break sequence, where our maverick escapes with another old foe, Vardhan ( Boman Irani). The rest of the film is essentially the execution of a meticulous plan where the duo chooses to rob the Germans of their currency plates. Easier said than done, but with the devious Don, rest assured, no mission is an impossible mission. Shah Rukh remains in command and never loses his foothold, neither through the dramatic sequences nor through the action cuts. But of course, didn't we know the actor always loved playing wicked despite his romantic hero image. Remember Darr and Baazigar, two of his unforgettable films?

Action is the other alluring selling point of Farhan Akhtar's film. The chases, the fights, the demolition, destruction, break-ins, escapes have all been done with a finesse that rivals the best of Hollywood. Watch the car chase between Priyanka and Shah Rukh and you'll get the point. It's not only high voltage that drips with passion which makes it seem almost like foreplay. The other notable sequences include the heist, the escape and Shah Rukh's larger-than-life leap from a high-rise while his assassin wrings his hands in dismay.

The film does lack a bit on the emotional quotient and human relationships are hardly given a chance to grow. But just when you think it's all sound and fury, there's a sensuous tango between Roma and the Don as the cop opts to help the gangster she once loved and the gangster is determined to save his junglee billi (wild cat), any which way. A word about the dialogues: brilliant. A word about the music: mediocre (Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy).

Story:

Story:

A confusing tale, the story begins with Chakradhar (Balakrishna) who is a noted cinema actor and he comes up with exceptional performances as Ravana, Komaram Bheem and others. Chakradhar gets possessed by the character if he gets inspired by it. As expected, he has an admirer (Sheela), who is constantly trying to get his attention and love. However, Chakradhar's mother (Jayasudha) is not happy on seeing her son in cine field as she wants him to be in the Indian army. The story takes a turn when a group of army officers come to meet Chakradhar. One among them (Murali Mohan) talks about Major Jayasimha (Balayya again) and his heroic tales. Chakradhar gets inspired by Major Jayasimha and literally gets possessed. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Story:

A sequel tale, the story begins with the portrait of Chandramukhi (Anushka) which lands at an artist’s place.
