Super Street Fighter IV - First Look In-Game Main Menu, Character Select, & Stage Select (PS3, Xbox360)

Capcom reveals the in-game interface screens - main menu, character select, and stage select.

Not much different from the main menu screen, except the background of Ryu and Ken pose like wanna kiss each other (just kidding); but this new main menu is more colorful than SFIV.

The character select screen, notice that there are still 4 more characters to be revealed, the current revealed new characters are T-hawk, DeeJay, Juri, Cody, Guy, and Adon. I believe some SFIII characters will be nice.

The stage select screen, shows that there might be 2 more stages to be revealed; check the previous post for new stage revealed.

The interface design is very SFIII-ish, a lot of circular design...

Twin Blades: The Reaping Vanguard, a classic side-scrolling hack-n-slashers developed by French indie developer Press Start Studio and released for iPhone and iPod Touch recently. Now making its way to Xbox Live Indie Games.

It's not the deepest game, though it has been hailed as a technical showpiece for Apple's devices due to its crisp, beautifully animated 2D graphics. Players (controlling an awfully violent nun) hack and shoot their way through advancing waves of the enemy flavor of the decade, zombies. There are skill and weapon upgrades, the latter including flame throwers and mini nukes.

A 99¢ download on iPhone, the 360 release of Twin Blades will be priced at 240 ($3) and, so as not to miss a crucial marketing opportunity -- the traditional holiday ritual of decapitating zombies while dressed as a nun -- is slated to land on the Xbox Live Marketplace before December 25. Press Start plans to release DLC for the game down the road, including new levels and bosses.

Capcom at last revealed the details of Resident Evil 5 Alternative Edition's second downloadable episode - Desperate Escape.

The episode takes place after Chris and Sheva removed the mind controlling device on Jill's chest which put on by Wesker. Jill was left behind, Chris and Sheva carried on to pursuit Wesker; so Jill met up with Josh Stone, so they...escaped like hell...desperately. Otherwise if both of them unable to catch on a helicopter, Chris and Sheva will be cooked in the volcano.

Capcom has revealed even more stages in Super Street Fighter IV.

Check out the new Metro City stage, you can see Street Fighter III's Hugo in the background and a giant statue of Mayor Mike Haggar holding the city's name; Dhalsim's India stage, his wife is cheering to...whoever fighting in this stage; Africa stage with enormous hippos as background; S.I.N. stage; and a busy Korean street.

Final Fantasy XIV Online - PC Beta Applications Begin (PC, PS3)

Square Enix announced that it has begun accepting beta-test applications for Final Fantasy XIV Online. Those interested in testing the game prior to its full release can now register through the official Final Fantasy XIV Online Web site.

Currently, Square Enix is accepting beta-test applications for the Windows PC edition of the game only. As the game was formally announced at Sony's E3 press conference, Final Fantasy XIV Online has also been confirmed for the PlayStation 3. The publisher expects to have more information on the game's console testing phase in the near future. Square Enix has also indicated that it is "considering" bringing the game to Microsoft's hardware.

Final Fantasy XIV Online will be set in the realm of Eorzea, a world not seen before in any other installments in the franchise. Like in other MMORPGs, gamers will be able to explore the world after selecting from a variety of races, combat classes, and professional skills.

Dragon Age: Origins Coming to the Mac

The Mac version of Dragon Age: Origins is announced and it will be available as a digital download and will include The Stone Prisoner and Blood Dragon Armor DLC. A "Digital Deluxe" edition will also be released which will come with various wallpapers, bonus items, the Dragon Age: Origins soundtrack and the Warden's Keep DLC, a short adventure that gives players access to new armor, abilities, merchants and a storage chest.

Dragon Age: Origins for the Mac is scheduled for release on December 21 and will be available through several online retailers including GameTree and Direct2Drive.

Final Fantasy XIII Soundtrack

Final Fantasy XIII recent release in Japan, FF-fans need to spend something extra for this Limited Edition Final Fantasy XIII Original Soundtrack. There will be two different versions of the soundtrack:

1) The five disc Limited Edition is also named as "First Cut Limited Edition", priced at ¥5,250, with a "special box case" and the fifth disc is a drama CD telling the story of the prologue novel. This is just one of the seven stories of the printed version of the novel.

2) The standard version priced at ¥3,990 yen with the four discs content.

Final Fantasy XIII Soundtrack will be released on January 27.

Gran Turismo 5 demo Dated on December 17 (PSN, PS3)

Final, a Gran Turismo 5 demo will hit PSN for public download on December 17, which will be very soon!

In Europe, the demo will allow players to enter the "GT Academy Time Trial" contest, in which the top 20 players from select countries ( mostly European countries only) will be eligible for a chance to enter the GT Academy. The GT Academy training program will prepare the ultimate GT fan to compete in the European GT4 Cup in a real race-spec Nissan 370Z.

In America and Canada, the winner of the time trial will get a trip to the Indianapolis 500.

Well, seems it has nothing to do with my region, so just play the demo.

White Knight Chronicles 'International Edition' - Dated In US (PS3)

White Knight Chronicles was released in Japan on December 25, 2008; a JRPG exclusive on PS3 and developed by Level 5. The game is a big hit in Japan, and multiple DLCs were release through out the year and the announcement of White Knight Chronicles 2.

Finally White Knight Chronicles 'International Edition' announced for US region and dated on February 2, 2010.

Players will be able to custom create their own avatar and enter in a deep single player campaign or join a real-time online multiplayer quest with up to four others. In addition to the compelling storyline, gamers will have access to dozens of online quests, and can create custom weapons and items.

The International Edition includes live talk, voice chat, the ability to build an online village for your character where you can invite friends to complete quests online and purchase unique items and gear, and over 50 disc-based online quests.

Medal of Honor - Teaser (PC, PS3, Xbox360)

EA announces the reboot of Medal Of Honor, set in the modern warfare of Afghanistan. The new first-person shooter follows the Tier 1 Operator, described as "a relatively unknown entity directly under the National Command Authority who takes on missions no one else can handle", which means the game is based (or inspired by) on the real military group in the real Afghanistan conflict. EA claims that "Tier 1 Operators from the US Special Operations Community" have been involved since the earliest stages of the game's development.

The single-player campaign will be developed by EA Los Angeles, as well as a multiplayer component developed by the Battlefield veterans at DICE. Set for release in 2010 on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
