Capcom has announced that the Resident Evil 5: Alternative Edition content will come to the U.S., Europe and Australia in DLC format to the core game; and in a retail box for Japan region.

So if your region of the content is in DLC format, make sure you don't sell your original copy. I wonder how much it cost and any price difference.

Super Street Fighter IV - Return Of Bonus Stage! (PS3, Xbox360)

Capcom reveals that the memorable Bonus Stage will return to this new Super Street Fighter IV, it brings back the good old car and barrel smashing during SF2 era.

Besides bringing back the good old cool stuff, new features also revealed for online play:

1) Endless Battle

Endless battle is playable by up to eight players. The match winner will keep on playing, and the losers of each fight go to the end of the line and wait for their next turn to play. Players who awaiting their turns can watch the on going fight and join the voice chat. The play match continues as long as players are online, seems like a game & chat room thing where you can be a player and spectator, and you're allowed to switch characters during the play. The simplest way to explain, just like you gather 8 friends in your house and take turns to play.

2)Team Battle

Team battle supports up to eight players. Two teams ranging from 1 to 7 players on each team, gosh what happen if 7 VS 1? You can also setup teams manually or base on the player's points to team-up evenly. Once team created, you can set the order list manually or automatically. Similar to Endless Battle, spectator function is available.

3) Replay Channel

Watch match replays with other players online; voice chat enabled.

It is also revealed that a tournament mode will be later added as a DLC much like the championship mode in sf4.

Ubisoft announces the collector's edition for the Xbox360 exclusive Splinter Cell: Conviction, priced at $79.90, it will be released on the same day as the standard edition (February 23, 2010):

1) Comic book prequel to the events in the game.

2) An art book with illustrations from all the Splinter Cell titles.

3) A DLC weapon and player skin.

4) A credit-card-sized USB drive filled with art and a making-of featurette.

5) Two stickers: Third Echelon logo and fake bullet holes graphic.

Polyphony Digital is adding another new car into the long awaited GT5.

Presenting the Toyota FT-86 Concept, a collaboration of Toyota and Subaru, it is expected to reach the road in 2011 alongside a Subaru-badged version. The FT-86 is powered by Subaru's 2.0-litre boxer engine, which puts out 146bhp in current production form but should develop slightly more in future iterations.

The name of this new FT-86 sounds like a tribute to the legendary AE86, check out the trailer.

Nintendo Announces DSi LL (or DSi XL)

Nintendo's hand-held console - NDS...NDS Lite...DSi...(gosh so many names for a same product) has been doing so well for all these years, always in the royal status of the consoles sales chart.

Once again Nintendo announces a new improved version of NDS - DSi LL will be released on November 21, 2009 in Japan. In US and Europe regions, it will be named DSi XL.

The new DSi will feature:

1) Two screens measuring 4.2 inches in diagonal diameter (DSi: 3.25 inches, DS Lite: 3 inches, & Sony PSP-3000: 4.3 inches).

Capcom Japan announces the Resident Evil Darkside Chronicles Collectors' Edition for the Wii.

Priced at ¥8,390, the collectors edition includes a soundtrack CD featuring orchestral arrangements of classic series songs, a DVD featuring promotional movies and other footage, and a reversible jacket.

The first print of the game will include a booklet called Darkside Report, it details all the characters and other info of the game.

Darkside Chronicles will be release on January 14, 2010.
