I've never really examined where and when and why I eat the way I do.

     I have figured out that part of the problem is that I eat fast, too fast. So while I want to enjoy the taste of my food I eat too quickly to really do so. Eating slowly helps me to appreciate the taste of the food in smaller portions.

It was supposed to be four days of prep and four weeks of the diet. They sent me the book about Jan. 12, I picked it up from the Post Office on the 16th and then Prevention said it had to be completed by the 30th to be one of the bloggers they would include, which was my main reason for blogging about it. My daughter had my first grandchild on October 1st. He was born happy and healthy, 18 inches long, 5lbs. and 5 oz. Her labor only last about 5 hours and I was in the room to see him come into the world. She walked a lot and ate right while pregnant, hence the quick labor I believe.

I've read that it's a form of pica ( eating of things that are not food ), and that it indicates something lacking in your body, in this case I believe it's iron.     Anyway I can't help it, I fill my glass with ice and a little but of whatever I'm drinking, and when the liquid is gone I happy chew my ice &lt;div class="feedflare"&gt;
