Available during business hours a support technician may be available to take your call immediately or a ticket will be opened in our Helpdesk Manager (HDM) and placed in the queue for call back per your company Service Level Agreement (SLA).

Emailing our Help Desk will automatically open a ticket and provide us with the information placed in the body of your email. Your ticket will fall into the queue and a call back or response will be provided based on your company SLA, otherwise within 24 hours. If you are not already in our HDM, you will be entered automatically based on your email.

Access to this site will require that you request a password reset using your company’s email address as your username. Once you receive the password you can log in and change to a password of your own choosing. Use the portal to create new tickets and/or to check status or provide additional up-dates on other open tickets.

How to Remove Malware for FREE!

Several free utilities have emerged that do a real good job of removing malware. Not only can they be downloaded for free, but they are fairly easy to install and run. If your PC is starting to get sluggish, starting to get "pop-ups," or starting to get warnings from your own anti-virus software, you may be infected with malware. With some time and a little bit if patience, you can rid your own PC of its malware for free - SMB Computer Networks.

First, download the following free software:

You should note that certain infections may stop the infected PC from accessing many known anti-virus and anti-malware sites, so you may need to download the required setup files from a clean PC and transport the files to the infected PC via network or Flash Drive. Download or copy both setup files to known location.

Next, restart Windows into safe mode with networking. We do this because many infections will be easier to remove with Windows in Safe Mode. To start a PC in safe mode:

Restart Windows
During the restart, when you see the PC Manufacturer logo / startup screen, repeatedly press the F8 key
You should see a Windows Startup Menu, select "Safe Mode with Networking."
Log in and ignore any dialogs about "System Restore"
You are now ready to begin your free malware removal from IT Services CT.

Malwarebytes

Browse to the location you stored the setup files
Launch the setup for Malwarebytes "mbam-setup.exe"
Follow all prompts, using the default options.
At the Finish screen, leave the default options selected and click "Finish"
When Malwarebytes’ main screen appears, select "Perform Quick Scan."

Spybot S&D

Browse to the location you stored the setup files
Launch the setup for Spybot S&D "spybotsd162.exe"; the exact file name may vary
Follow all prompts, using the default options.
At the Finish screen, leave the default options selected and click "Finish"
When Spybot launches for the first time, it will suggest letting it create a registry backup, and then update its definition files prior to the first scan. Let Spybot make this backup and perform its update.
Once these are complete, Spybot may restart and then you may start the scan by pressing "Check for problems."

After MalwareBytes and Spybot S&D

Once the PC is scanned and cleaned with Malwarebytes and Spybot, restart the computer and let it boot normally.
