Its Important!<br /><br />Today almost every company in India have their online presense through their website but the most important aspect of this is overlooked by many of them i.e. the domain name. Total control of their domain name is with the company who registers this domain name for them. Things are fine untill you decide to discontinue with your existing provider. Once you decide to switch your hosting provider you have no clue as how to do that and current provider may not be very keen on providing the inormation.<br /><br />I am listing down the important points that should not be ignored.<br /><br />1. Domain should be registered in our company's name.<br /><br />2. Administrative contact should have your details and more importantly your email ID.<br /><br />3. You should have the control panel to manage every aspect of your domain name. Sometimes provider gives access to manage your domain partialy.<br /><br />4.
