So my longtime friend Josh (whom I've known since I was just a kid) asked me to take pictures of he and his family announcing their sealing to each other. In Mormonism, sealings are typically performed as marriages or as sealing of children to parents.
When we started planning their engagement session, I knew the location would need to be important and meaningful to both of them – so it seemed like the perfect place to shoot at the Temple. Of course we had to include the whole family little Josh and adorable Alyssa!

Remember the maternity posting that I did with Stephen and Crytsal? Well of course I took pictures of baby Sophia! She is full of personality and stayed awake during most of the shoot. You can definitely tell Crystal is a proud Moma!

I was super excited to hear about the news of baby Sophia from Crystal and Stephen. I took their wedding pictures and was thrilled when they asked me to take their maternity shots. Lucky for me I will see what an amazing mommy Crystal will be and Stephen is already a great daddy to his other daughter!

I have had such a great opportunity to meet this model in the making Rita! Rita has a great look and it was so much fun spending time with her and her sister taking these shots. My best friend Laura that I have known since I was a sophmore in high school and her husband Dominick (AKA Richad) asked me to take pictures of her three beautiful children. Her younger brother Marcos and Wife Melissa Sanchez asked me to take pictures of their two at the same time. Of course I was ecstatic! We decided on Historic Downtown Glendale. We had a great time and yes it was a little crazy at times!! I still can't believe we're grown up, married and have kids of our own. Seems like just yesterday we were taking the bus to school..Ahhh Good times! Thanks again you guys for asking me take pictures.

So I haven't seen my cousins in ages! Now we are all married with kids of our own. My brilliant Aunt and Uncle got us all together for a photo shoot. I love you Aunt Jill and Uncle George - we had so much fun!

Lila in purple exactly 1 month old in this shot. Roman is the big brother and Cousin of Sophia in pink.

We continued the photo shoot and Sophia is just a natural model and you would just fall in LOVE with those blue eyes!


I told you those blue eyes would melt your heart!

Big Brother Roman is such a handsome guy and a help. He did a great job keeping the girls happy and of course we couldn't resist getting a kick out of him!

The two girls wore matching princess outfits in different colors.

I am so thankful that the word of my photography is spreading. What I am most happy with is that in the end result everyone is Extremely happy! My message is I am not just out there doing a "job" I truly love what I do. I take in the room, the subject, the location, determining what looks good, what's important?

Here is another beautiful one. This one was a little challenging because the way the homes are situated the yards almost overlap each other.

This adorable classic mid-century home is still waiting for landscaping and the owners are still in the process of moving out. Knowing what the client wants in the end result is key. This home needs to be sold - so out with the personal pictures, dog toys, unnecessary kitchen accessories and rugs!

So I had originally wanted UMG Studios. The name was available but not the website. So I decided to name my business ELS Studios for Elena Leon-Seefeldt. I hope everyone approves. I love it and I have been working away on my new website ELSStudios.com! I'm excited to work on new projects and keep learning new and better techniques. Also make sure and visit us on facebook and twitter because we are always posting specials!
