So flowy and retro and really just perfect for her. The day was just lovely, the light was unbelievably gorgeous and the couple, well, just see how goofy in love with each other they are.

Melissa and Sean are one of those couples that just make our job so easy. They are so adorably in love with each other that it just shines right through our camera lens. They were engaged at South Street Seaport so we returned to the scene of the crime so to speak for their engagement session. There was a storm rolling in and it added just the right amount of gorgeous light and drama to these beautiful two.

A New York Athletic Club Wedding

Get ready for a doozy of a post. There are literally so many gorgeous images of this wedding that I couldn’t narrow them all down. Nick and Diana were married on a gorgeous September day at St. Vincent Ferrer Church with a reception at the New York Athletic Club. That view from the terrace of the club is a stunner we never get tired of. We could hang out with them all day. They are non-stop fun and so easy to photograph that it wasn’t like work at all. They just radiated love and excitement for their marriage together. Plus there were mustaches! My Bellissima Events helped the day run so smoothly and we couldn’t have done it without them!

Lincoln Plaza Engagement Shoot

Jamie and Colleen are what my grandma called a hoot. They were non-stop fun and made our job super easy. Super cute couple? Check. Adorable dog? Check.. Totally in love and not afraid to show it? Check. Check. We did a little in Central Park, but then hightailed it over to Lincoln Center to their beautiful, geometric plazas and secret park. Check it out.

A Crossed Keys Inn Wedding

Ariel and Lou’s wedding was rustic perfection. They missed Hurricane Irene by a week and luckily their gorgeous venue, New Jersey’s Crossed Keys Inn escaped relatively unscathed. We were all able to enjoy the beautiful grounds and late-summer sun as these two got hitched in an emotional ceremony. Can you tell that they’re genuinely, totally, completely in love? We couldn’t be happier for them.

An Indian Jewish Wedding in New York

Mona and Andrew’s wedding was epic in every way. First of all there were two full ceremonies, Hindu and Jewish and complete costume changes between each. Mona is drop dead gorgeous and a dream to photograph. Their day was rich with history and culture. Her Indian outfits came straight from New Delhi and her traditional wedding dress was 90 years old and last worn by Andrew’s great-grandmother. Spending two days with her and Andrew was fantastic and we were able to make so many beautiful images because they just gave themselves over to us. We loved everything about them and their families. They were so warm and welcoming and both sides showed how excited they were about the joining of these two people and cultures.

Celebrating Gay Marriage in New York

Two of my best friends were married a few weeks ago, just as gay marriage became legal in New York state. Mat and I feel responsible for this wedding because they met at our wedding! It was such a joyous occasion to see two people so completely in love with each other, make it legal. We were there as guests, for a change, but managed to snag some photos anyways. A big thank you to the Pop-up Chapel and all the hard work they did to give 24 couples amazing weddings in practically no time at all. Here’s to marriage equality in New York State and beyond!

A Prospect Park Engagement Shoot

For their engagement shoot Ariel and Lou returned to the scene of the crime, so to speak. They had their first date at a bar off of Prospect Park in Brooklyn and so we all thought that a lovely stroll through the green expanses and leafy trees was just the ticket. And we finished up at the bar with cool drinks which is just how we like our shoots to end.
