<p><span id="en-ESV-30715" class="text Rev-2-13"><span class="woj"><sup class="versenum">13 </sup>“‘I know where you dwell, where Satan&#8217;s throne is. Yet you hold fast my name, and you did not deny my faith even in the days of Antipas my faithful witness, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.</span></span> <span id="en-ESV-30716" class="text Rev-2-14"><span class="woj"><sup class="versenum">14 </sup>But I have a few things against you: you have some there who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to put a stumbling block before the sons of Israel, so that they might eat food sacrificed to idols and practice sexual immorality.</span></span> <span id="en-ESV-30717" class="text Rev-2-15"><span class="woj"><sup class="versenum">15 </sup>So also you have some who hold the teaching of the Nicolaitans.</span></span> <span id="en-ESV-30718" class="text Rev-2-16"><span class="woj"><sup class="versenum">16 </sup>Therefore repent. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested, and for ten days you will have tribulation. <h3><span id="en-ESV-30691" class="text Rev-1-9">Vision of the Son of Man</span></h3>
<p><span class="text Rev-1-9"><sup class="versenum">9 </sup>I, John, your brother and partner in the tribulation and the kingdom and the patient endurance that are in Jesus, was on the island called Patmos on account of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.</span> <span id="en-ESV-30692" class="text Rev-1-10"><sup class="versenum">10 </sup>I was in the Spirit on the Lord&#8217;s day, and I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet</span> <span id="en-ESV-30693" class="text Rev-1-11"><sup class="versenum">11 </sup>saying, <span class="woj">“Write what you see in a book and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus and to Smyrna and to Pergamum and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia and to Laodicea.”</span></span></p>
<p><span id="en-ESV-30694" class="text Rev-1-12"><sup class="versenum">12 </sup>Then I turned to see the voice that was speaking to me, and on turning I saw seven golden lampstands,</span> <span id="en-ESV-30695" class="text Rev-1-13"><sup class="versenum">13 </sup>and in the midst of the lampstands one like a son of man, clothed with a long robe and with a golden sash around his chest.</span> <span id="en-ESV-30696" class="text Rev-1-14"><sup class="versenum">14 </sup>The hairs of his head were white, like white wool, like snow. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John,</span> <span id="en-ESV-30684" class="text Rev-1-2"><sup class="versenum">2 </sup>who bore witness to the word of God and to the testimony of Jesus Christ, even to all that he saw.</span> <span id="en-ESV-30685" class="text Rev-1-3"><sup class="versenum">3 </sup>Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear, and who keep what is written in it, for the time is near.</span></p>
<h3><span id="en-ESV-30686" class="text Rev-1-4">Greeting to the Seven Churches</span></h3>
<p><span class="text Rev-1-4"><sup class="versenum">4 </sup>John to the seven churches that are in Asia:</span></p>
<p><span class="text Rev-1-4">Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne,</span> <span id="en-ESV-30687" class="text Rev-1-5"><sup class="versenum">5 </sup>and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth.</span></p>
<p><span class="text Rev-1-5">To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood</span> <span id="en-ESV-30688" class="text Rev-1-6"><sup class="versenum">6 </sup>and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. <h3><span id="en-ESV-21935" class="text Dan-7-1">Daniel&#8217;s Vision of the Four Beasts</span></h3>
<p class="chapter-1"><span class="text Dan-7-1"><span class="chapternum">7 </span>In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon, Daniel saw a dream and visions of his head as he lay in his bed. Then he wrote down the dream and told the sum of the matter.</span> <span id="en-ESV-21936" class="text Dan-7-2"><sup class="versenum">2 </sup>Daniel declared, “I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of heaven were stirring up the great sea.</span> <span id="en-ESV-21937" class="text Dan-7-3"><sup class="versenum">3 </sup>And four great beasts came up out of the sea, different from one another.</span> <span id="en-ESV-21938" class="text Dan-7-4"><sup class="versenum">4 </sup>The first was like a lion and had eagles&#8217; wings. <p class="chapter-1"><span class="text Zech-3-1"><span class="chapternum">3 </span>Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the <span class="small-caps">Lord</span>, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.</span> <span id="en-ESV-22915" class="text Zech-3-2"><sup class="versenum">2 </sup>And the <span class="small-caps">Lord</span> said to Satan, “The <span class="small-caps">Lord</span> rebuke you, O Satan! <p><span class="text 1Thess-4-13"><sup class="versenum">13 </sup>But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope.</span> <span id="en-ESV-29601" class="text 1Thess-4-14"><sup class="versenum">14 </sup>For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.</span> <span id="en-ESV-29602" class="text 1Thess-4-15"><sup class="versenum">15 </sup>For this we declare to you by a word from the Lord, that we who are alive, who are left until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep.</span> <span id="en-ESV-29603" class="text 1Thess-4-16"><sup class="versenum">16 </sup>For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a cry of command, with the voice of an archangel, and with the sound of the trumpet of God.
