Congratulations are in order for Clay Aiken! His first child, a boy, was born Friday morning at 8:08 a.m. in Aiken's home state, and the new little one is "as loud as his daddy," the proud papa write on his web site.

"HE'S HERE!" Clay writes, "My dear friend, Jaymes, and I are so excited to announce the birth of Parker Foster Aiken (No hyphens. One first name. One middle name. One last name.)

"Parker was born at a hospital in North Carolina just this morning at 8:08 AM. Wow... 8:08 ... 08/08/08."

Blonsky's Dad Remains in Jail

ET confirms that Nikki Blonsky's dad Carl, who's been locked up in a Turks and Caicos islands jail, will remain in custody until August 19.

The elder Blonsky stepped out from behind bars on Friday for the first time since his and Nikki's shocking arrests last week for a bail hearing.

He's charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm during an airport scuffle he and Nikki allegedly got into against former "Top Model" contestant Bianca Golden.

Hollywood Producer Bernie Brillstein Dies

Veteran Hollywood manager, producer and power broker Bernie Brillstein died Thursday night of heart disease at a Los Angeles hospital, reports his production company. He was 77.

After working his way up from the mailroom at the William Morris Agency in New York, Brillstein was instrumental in guiding the careers of Muppets creator Jim Henson and comic legend John Belushi as a manager and talent agent, in addition to other "Saturday Night Live" stars like Gilda Radner, Dan Aykroyd and Martin Short. As a producer, he helped bring such shows as "SNL," "The Larry Sanders Show" and "The Sopranos" to TV.

As an executive producer, he had a hand in such movie classics as 'The Blues Brothers,' 'Ghostbusters' and 'Happy Gilmore.'

Days after her tounge-in-cheek spoof of a John McCain campaign ad had America saying "that's hot," Paris Hilton is back with a new project: She's dishing about developing and starring in her own, new cartoon!

"Actually, I've created a superhero with [Spider-Man co-creator Stan Lee], which is [based on] me, and we're doing a cartoon right now with MTV," she tells San Diego's CityBeat.

Which begs the question, which superhero power would the paparazzi-chased socialite most like to have? "To be invisible -- that would be fun," she says.

Just in: ET confirms the news that country crooner Jewel Kilcher tied the knot with her boyfriend in a private Bahamas wedding Thursday night.

The "You Were Meant for Me" singer married rodeo king Ty Murray in "a traditional wedding gown, while Ty wore his favorite blue jeans, white shirt and cowboy hat.

"I dreamt about this day since I was a little girl on a ranch in Alaska," Jewel told ET.

Valerie Bertinelli on Her Movie About a Troubled Teen Star

The Jenny Craig spokeswoman talks about her upcoming Lifetime TV movie and about growing up as a teen star in Hollywood.

Valerie Bertinelli is starring in a movie that isn't very far removed from her own life. The former teen star of "One Day at a Time," who famously dated, married and divorced rock star Eddie Van Halen, plays the aunt of a superstar teen actress (played by multi-platinum recording artist Joanna "JoJo" Levesque) in Lifetime TV's "True Confessions of a Hollywood Starlet," premiering Saturday, August 9 at 9 p.m.

"Here's this beautiful young starlet, who drinks too much and ends up in rehab," Valerie explains the story. Then she jokes, "That's so unusual. Where did that come from?"

Valerie places some of the blame for today's teen stars being out of control on their parents. She recalls that she had a curfew, was not allowed to wear makeup -- except on the set -- until she was 16 years old, and she had to observe all the normal boundaries that children should have at that age.

We "can't stand losing" them!

The Police played their final gig Thursday night at Madison Square Garden, holstering an ambitious 150-date (and highly lucrative) reunion tour.

At the concert, the Sting-led, legendary reggae-rock trio covered Cream ("Sunshine of Your Love"), Jimi Hendrix ("Purple Haze") and of course broke out plenty of the signature tunes that made them famous, like "Roxanne," "King of Pain," "Every Breath You Take" and a version of "Message in a Bottle" that saw them accompanied on stage by two dozen members of New York City Police band, says the Associated Press.

Early on in the show, Sting praised guitarist Andy Summers and drummer Stewart Copeland's "musicianship, your companionship, your friendship and your understanding," adding with a nodding wink to their reportedly volatile chemistry of years past: "The real triumph of this tour is that we haven't strangled each other … Not to say it hasn't crossed my mind -- or Andy's or Stewart's."

David Cook Goes Out to the Ballgame

"American Idol" winner David Cook is continuing to enjoy the perks his big win brings -- he threw out the first pitch today at a New York Mets game.

"I'm a huge sports fan, a big baseball fan and so to be able to do anything like this is always really cool," Cook, who was sporting a beard, said of the experience.

David Cook was invited to Shea Stadium by Mets third baseman David Wright, who founded the David Wright Foundation. Cook said, "David [Wright] actually reached out to me towards the end of the ["American Idol"] season, really wanted to try to help out to get my older brother out to the finale and stuff, really reached out and he was cool, and then reached out very recently to invite me out today."

Brad Pitt: Confirmed Tarantino 'Bastard'

New papa Brad Pitt has officially enlisted in Quentin Tarantino's World War II action-drama 'Inglorious Bastards,' ET confirms.

Brad will play a Tennessee hillbilly who assembles a team of prisoners-turned-soldiers to battle the Nazis in a 'Dirty Dozen'-like scenario. The project reunites the 'Pulp Fiction' filmmaker and Pitt, who had a small but memorable role as a stoner in the Tarantino-written 'True Romance.'

"The Office" star BJ Novak is in talks for a role in the film and 'Hostel' director Eli Roth (who appeared in Tarantino's 'Grindhouse' thriller 'Death Proof') has already been cast. Production is slated to begin on October 13 in Germany on the long-awaited re-imagining of the '70s Italian film by director Enzo G. Castellari.

Miley Cyrus gets candid as she talks about her relationship with Nick Jonas and their subsequent break-up in the upcoming issue of Seventeen magazine.

"Nick and I loved each other," Cyrus tells the mag. "We still do, but we were in love with each other. For two years he was basically my 24/7. But it was really hard to keep it from people."

She goes on to say they began arguing a lot and that it "wasn't fun."

Hollywood fashion critic Richard Blackwell has regained consciousness after being hospitalized on Tuesday.

Mr. Blackwell's rep tells ET, "He appears to be cognizant of his surroundings and although groggy, he did acknowledge [his longtime partner] Spencer's presence. Tomorrow the doctor will decide whether or not they can take Mr. B. off assisted breathing."

The 86-year-old inventor of the legendary "worst-dressed list" collapsed at his L.A. home on Tuesday and is reportedly suffering from septic shock. He is being treated with antibiotics.
