Hey guys! Recently I have a lot of work (exams are coming :)), but I don't forget about this blog. Today I prepared a first part of Goldrush camping guide. This map is full of places where you can camp. That makes it so popular :). So let's have a look on them!

Great place to guard the tank and the route near Command Post. Moreover, it gives pretty good cover.

Simplest camping spot ever :). Just stand behind the corner and wait for your opponent.

Nice way to give your enemy an unpleasant suprise. Almost noone expects a fire from above.

Watch out, many Allies often try to reach the tank from the 'back'. It's good idea to keep an eye on them from here.

Here you have a full view of battlefield, but - unfortunately - not much cover.

Hidden voice chat commands

Voice chat is a very useful tool to communicate with your teammates without typing the commands all the time. You can access it by [V] key. But there are some commands that are not available through the voice chat menu...

... but you can run them in console! Just type: /vsay commandname
Here's the list of available special commands:

FTAttack - Attack!
FTFallBack - Fall back!
FTMortar - Deploy mortar!
FTHealSquad - Heal the squad!
FTHealMe - Heal me!
FTReviveMe - Revive me!
FTDestroyObjective - Destroy the objective!
FTDisarmDynamite - Disarm the dynamite!
FTCallAirstrike - Call an airstrike!

It's high time to start new map guides! Goldrush tuturials are coming to show you useful places and tricks which can help you in game. This episode will be about mining.

Mining the Axis Spawn #2 is very important if you want to provide your team an easy way after stealing the tank. If you place your mines in right places, you can keep the Axis away for about a one minute. During this time the tank can go untouched through the half of its route to the bank.

Keeping the Axis back from Tank Barrier #1.

Kinda tricky place. The space for planting the mine is limited by a texture looking like a triangle.

5 ways to piss your teammates off

Every round in ET is full of action. But not just in a positive way. Players are different - there are two types of them. In this article I'll call them:

Teammate
Asshole

Teammate always thanks for revive and packs, tries to give you a cover and is polite for other players. A game with him is a good kind of entertainment.

But playing with the Asshole is like a torture. Asshole has one aim - to destroy your fun. I made a special tutorial for people who want to be a good Enemy Territory Asshole:

1. Always run through your teammate's mines. It's a good way to test your [shift] key. You can also make a competition with another Asshole. The one, who destroys all mines in the shortest time, wins.
2. If you see an engie from your team planting dyna on the objective, shoot him down, disarm his dyna and plant your own. Don't let the others to steal your EXP!
3. If your teammate throws an artillery marker, kick it to another place where it will get more frags. Always follow your field op and kick his markers every time. Don't care about his whine - he is just jealous about your frags.
4. If you see a mortar from your team, observe him for a moment. If he shoots slower than 3 missiles per second, jump on him and don't let him waste the ammo. Check if he is aiming properly - push him when you think that he is doing it wrong.
5. Don't listen to the admins when they tell you to stop your behaviour. They are just haters who want to have as many frags as you.

But there is one most important rule: not on my server!

Welcome on ET Guides new main page! As you can see, the blog has changed a lot. I decided to change layout to more user-friendly. Now it looks more clear. But it's only one of many other modifications. I'm going to post something more than only Enemy Territory game tutorials. I'll also focus on ET world - news, modifications, articles etc. There will be finally something to read on this blog. ;)
Furthermore, I optimized the posts. Now they are expandable, so it takes less time to load the blog. All changes are listed below.

Defending the route through the Old City Pump Tunnel (#1). Pretty cool spots, because underwater mines are almost impossible to see.

Defending the way through the Old City Pump Tunnel (#3). Don't put your mines near the ladder, because enemy could spot it before entering the tunnel. Plant them further and wait for frags. :)

Some other tricks useful in Oasis.

1. Mines avoiding - this trick allows you to jump over a mine planted in a tight pass. The trick is to crouch in the air (default: [C] key).

2. Faster movement - the best way to flank an enemy or reach the objective if your team is in trouble.

Time for absolutely incredible in-game trick - trickshooting. It allows you to use your rifle grenade laucher like a mortar. You can hit a place on the other point on the map without getting hurt. You only need to aim in right spot - your nade will fly over the buildings and hit the certain place. You can block enemy's position, protect the objective or just get some easy frags. :)

Trickshooting tutorials will contain 3 pictures for each trick:

a place, where you have to stand for a proper aim,
a point which you have to aim at
a place, which the nade will hit

Have fun with powning :)

Pretty nice spot, but it doesn't give too much cover ;)

Great spot - most Allies will expect you on the balcony on the right. Here you can give them an unpleasant suprise.

These 3 spots can be pretty useful, because you clear the space behind the walls without being spotted by enemies. :)

Destroying the Garrison MG spot. It's not useful when you raise an alarm on your way to the Anti-tank Gun. So a few engies use it. And they are right. :)

Camping the Tunnel #2 exit. You need to sprint onto the hill and stand on the stone to reach this spot.

Just jump onto the lamp and prone.

Other use of 'lamp spot'. Wait for the Allies engie and give him a suprise. ;)

Jump down from the Garrison MG platform to get there. Here you have nice view of path to the South gun.
