So, this is the story..
The voice that I assume come from the surveillance camera was back at the end of February..
I know that I have anticipated this unfortunate event so that it can't occur again..
But I think I'M FAILED..
Yeah, an unexpected event happened while I was working, that is, I never prepare for this kind of situation before..
It's so beyond my expectation..
Well, the thing is I was disappointed by someone's act whom I respect so much..
Nope! It's not one of my client but just someone whom I respect..
I can't believe he/she can ever do this to me..
I've told him/her that I hate this kind of situation happen in my life from the first place..
But, I don't think he/she ever listen to me.. :'(
He/she already did that and I'm sure that situation can happen again all the time..
And the voice will come back to me at that time..
So, I decided to stop working in any company..

I decided to concentrate on my own online shop business that I've started since I resigned from 7-Eleven..
I sell kain batik and smartphone case on Instagram and Facebook..

I do worldwide shipping only for kain batik..

I was contented with my first income from the online shop business since I ran it full time (not part time or run it while working at the office)..
I got more income from it compared to my income at the office..
I was so sure that this is the RIGHT decision to make..

But Daddy JC's plan for me was different..
He has much better plan..
I was bored doing online business and only staying at home..
Maybe it's because my work experience before as executive account that I have to meet client in many places..
Then I was planning to work as private teacher..
There's a well known school near my residence and I was convince I can find some student around my residence to be taught..
In short, few days after my birthday at the beginning of April, I got two junior high school student and they are twins!
My mom helped me to find them in an unexpected way (Daddy JC is always awesome!)
She asked her relatives whom also are private teacher and also my previous private teacher from elementary and high school about the fee I must set up to become a private teacher..
Approximately on the third week of April, I officially became a private teacher.. :)
I love this job..
I'm so happy to become a teacher beside Sunday School teacher..
Well, my passion is anything related to kids.. :D

Hey! It's not over yet..
On May, there's more unpredictable and exciting news for me..
I got another job opportunity as kindergarten teacher from my mom's relatives whom she asked to before about private teacher's fee..
But the school is far from my home..
I really wanted to work there though and I really didn't care about the voice that can be a risk if I work at a company..
It's because the job is my passion!!
My mom said that she and my dad supports me to work there as long as the income I got from there is worth it..
So I applied there and I was invited for my first interview at the beginning of May..
I was told that if I will be invited for the second interview if I past the first elimination..
Do you know how happy I was when I got a phone call informing about my second interview? :)
Unfortunately, at that time my body was not in a good condition..
I had to skip the interview because my thrombocytes level is low and I have to be hospitalized..
I spent one week in the hospital until my thrombocytes level back to normal..
After that one week, I didn't get a phone call from the school and I also had to go out of town to do a ministry in Mount Bromo (Surabaya) for another one week..

But, His plan never failed..
After I got home, I received the phone call! :D
I was nervous yet excited..
And the third phone call was a question when I could start work there.. :DD
So here I am, an ONLINE SELLER, a PRIVATE TEACHER, and also a KINDERGARTEN TEACHER..
Proud of it!

Is there anyone who still waiting for my post??? *doubting* :p
I bet many of you are already bored to read my post since I'm just a "temporary" blogger.. Hehe..
Well, I hope this post could bring the mood back :D

Let's start with the FLASHBACK! :)
I will start with the most interesting topic..
You should read this before you continue to read ;)

Yep! At the end of March 2014, the "surveillance cameras" thingy was back..
You know what?! I heard the voices of unknown people again at my latest office right after office hour..
I was really confirmed that I heard the voices of my co-workers which were already go home..
From that moment, I really feel so stupid for not believe in myself about the existence of surveillance cameras since I worked at 7-Eleven..
I complained to Daddy JC, "Why is this happening again, Dad??" :'(

Then, in short, since that day I didn't go to work for one month.. *Wow!*
I heard the voices again for almost one month at home and I was too scared to leave my home because I knew that I would hear people on street talking about the same topic that I heard from the voices at home..
At this moment, I bet you think that I'm suffered from a psychological diseases which is an auditory hallucination whenever I'm stressed out..
BUT, NOTE THIS PEOPLE! I DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT THAT!
I'M NOW MUCH MORE SURE THAT THERE ARE SURVEILLANCE CAMERAS!
It's because the topic I heard from the voices was NOT RANDOM, it's all about me..
They *I mean the voices* always commented on my activity at that moment..
For example, when I was reading my mandarin book, the voices said "her mandarin is not bad, and bla bla bla" Sometimes they said positive comments and sometimes they said negative ones..
They even commented on my "private activity" in the bathroom, exactly the same with what I wrote in my previous post about the cameras..
What do you think??
I'm not crazy enough to tell myself a positive things to encourage myself to do something and some minutes later I tell myself negative things that can bring me down..
Oh, come on people..
I'm well aware that I still haven't found the cameras yet..
But I've decided to believe that the cameras are really exist..
AND I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE RISK THAT PEOPLE CAN EXCOMMUNICATE ME BECAUSE OF THIS IRRATIONAL BELIEF..
During that one month, I also learnt that if I don't have Daddy JC in my life and this kind of situation happen to me, maybe I would end up in mental hospital like others.

Thank God, I kinda have a clue now when the surveillance camera will be on again.. ;)
*at this point, you have the right to judge me that I'm way out of my mind to get this kind of idea and you can stop reading my blog anytime because I know that most people will think it's nonsense/bullshit*
I got this clue when I was pushing my brain to think why the camera is on again during that one month..
I'm so sorry that I can not share it here because I have to anticipate the case that the person who set the cameras read this post..
I myself only 90% sure that the clue is exactly right..
So, the chances that the cameras will be on again are still there..
And I've been asking Daddy JC to not let this situation happen again anymore..

NOTE TO THE PERSON WHO SET THE CAMERAS:
IF YOU READ THIS POST, I WANT YOU TO KNOW THAT I'M VERY VERY THANKFUL TO YOU!
I'M THANKFUL FOR YOUR ATTENTION AND CARING AND FOR MAKING THE CAMERAS THE MOST UNFORGETTABLE MEMORIES IN MY LIFE.
AND ALSO FOR MAKING ME CLOSER TO DADDY JC.
I SOMETIMES THOUGHT THAT THE MOMENT WHEN THE CAMERAS ARE ON WAS THE MOMENT WHEN I'M THE MOST HUMILIATED.
BUT NOW I KNOW FOR SURE THAT THE MOMENT WHEN THE CAMERAS ARE ON WAS THE MOMENT WHEN DADDY JC LIFT ME UP HIGHER.

Please don't get the wrong idea, I do trust/believe that the cameras are exist but I DON'T trust/believe in the people voices..
I do trust/believe in myself that I hear the voices of the people I know talking "behind my back", but I DON'T trust/believe in their talks or comments..

One thing for sure, I have really been struggling to avoid that situation (by always remind myself about the clue) ever since I was back to work until now..
There are two things that help me to keep holding on:
1. I always have my Daddy JC besides me and His "love letters" with me
2. I have to appreciate my boss for understanding & still welcoming me after that one month. I'm still working at the same office and I can say I've been through many wonderful experiences at the office until now :)

3 We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. 4 And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. 5 And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love.

Another Flashback with Snapshots

Bonjour!
New year time again and I'm so excited!
This is time for another flashback..
Well, let's do this briefly..

1. Starting to step into the world of work.
This year is like a new beginning for me..
I've entered the money digging world where everyone take a part too in it..
That's why I don't have much time to do another thing including blogging..
As some of you already know from my previous blog post about my first job in 2013 at 7-Eleven, there's so much thing happen there..
I really am too lazy to tell it twice.. :p
So, this is me now working at advertising agency owned by my parent's friend..
The name is "Dian Media Nusantara Abadi (DMN)" advertising..
It's not a big agency but I'm grateful to have an "Account Executive" experience here..
I have a chance to meet many new people from many big company and trying my best to attract them to be our agency's client..
Everyday my closest friend at office is telephone (wkwk)..
I have to search and search and search new companies as potential clients to be and find the contact number on internet..
And then I have to phone them one by one until I get someone who sound interested to know more about our agency..
After that I must arrange a meeting to present our company profile, ask them about their advertising strategy, and offer the advertising packet..
If they are interested to place an advertising whether it's on radio or print media, then I must process it into media plan and ask the media buying department to order the spot to chosen radio station or print media..
Or if they are interested to place an advertising on TV, then I must tell our sister company named "OASE" to process it..
OR if they are interested to make an activation (it's an event that can be held by a company or a radio station where the company can be one of the sponsor to enhance their product promotion), then I also must process it into media plan and arrange technical and evaluation meeting..
Until now, I really enjoy my work there..

I want to make a bit promotion post of OASE and DMN advertising agency..
This is several TV advertising that OASE has made before..

And this is several radio advertising that DMN has made:
- Glaxo Smith Kline 60" radio spot
- Agung Podomoro Land project "Green Bay Kiosk" 60" radio spot
- Kalbe Farma's cough medicine "Procold" 60" radio spot

The last one are print ads made by OASE..

DMN and OASE also make survey every end of the year for knowing about whether there's changing in radio listener habit..
This is the first time I interviewed random people around me :)

I know that this job is very different from my major at university..
But looking at my previous work experience, I think this is the best starting point..
I could learn to interact with and how to attract client as Account Executive and have time to learn Mandarin as second international language because my house, office, and Mandarin course place are near to each other..
Furthermore, I could relate to many companies and get more channels in case I want to find a new job after this..
Who knows this is my stepping stone to get the job related to my major or maybe I could directly take the scholarship? Amen!

2. The first time I involve in children care organization & join a free charity concert ALONE.
The concert named "Worship Gratitude For Indonesia with Love"..
It's held by Sidney Mohede and Wahana Visi Indonesia (WVI) on March 2013..
I really wanna go there because of those two..
Sidney Mohede is a very gifted and blessed singer and also worship leader and Wahana Visi Indonesia is a children non-profit organization..
At the concert, Sidney urged all the audience to take apart in child sponsorship program where WVI will choose one of child from one of Indonesia's remote area to be sponsored by us..
We only have to donate 150,000 IDR every month to our sponsored child..
Because of it's one of my dream to get involved in child care organization, then I spontaneously took a part in it..

Unfortunately I forgot to take the photos because I'm in the middle of my "Life Series of Unfortunate Event" where I thought too much back then..

How does it work?

Why I chose her?

Simple reason..

First is because her disease is almost the same w/ my brother's..

So, my brother has suffered from post-traumatic seizure (almost the same w/ post-traumatic epilepsy) and also post-traumatic amnesia since the accident..

He was 19 years old when it happened..

He loss all his cognitive and psychomotor skill so he had childlike behavior, but he's getting better every year even though sometimes his seizure recur..

You can see my brother's development from my family labels (at the right side bar)..

Now, he can't read yet but he can write down his name and also sign autograph when he's going to make e-KTP..
He can take a bath or do toilet activities by himself..
One more thing, he LOVES to sing!
Every time you say a word, he immediately begin to sing a song which has the word in it..
For example, you're asking "Why?" and then he begin to sing "Why do you love me? So sweet and tenderly.." and so on..
Funny, huh? Exactly.. It's really entertaining.. :)

I found this website from a member of Indonesia's postcrossing community Facebook group..

From that web, I choose this two children to be sent some postcards:

The first time I look at his name I was already interested and when I clicked his name, it appeared that he also has no sibling to play or share with. That's why I chose him.

I clicked on her name randomly but it appeared to me that she is from Indonesia. Because she is near, I'm going to send her not only postcard but also some Disney Princess gift. That's why I chose her.

3. Join a life insurance.

At first, I was offered by one of my university's senior about Prudential life insurance..
But finally, I ended up taking the insurance from my mom's office friend..
All this time, none of my family has taken a life insurance..
For me and my family, our life insurance is Him, the One and only..
And it's still valid even though I'm the first person who has taken it..
I know that it means my spending will increase as I must pay for the insurance, but then why should I worry?
I think this is one of advantageous decision I've ever made..

4. Took part as worship leader again in Youth fellowship.

I guess the "Unfortunate Event" has brought me benefit especially to my self confidence..
Now, I feel more confidence to stand in front of the audience and can sing freely without much worry.. :)

7. Doing Obsessive Corbuzier's Diet (OCD).
Hahaha..
FYI, this is our current trending diet in Indonesia..
Actually, I never do diet because formerly whatever I eat didn't give effect to my weight..
But recently, it does give much effect..
I don't know why, but after the "unfortunate event" my weight easily increase..
Before, my weight is 55 kg and now is 65 kg.. >___<
I started this diet on October but failed..
Some of my clothes that I wore in March or April don't fit already.. :(
Then I started over the diet on December 17 until now and it works!
I've lost about 3 kg.. :)
I used to wonder why people do diet..
But now, I myself has to do it..
I'm grateful for this diet experience though..
Let's see how long I can survive with this diet..
For this diet, I directly took the 24 hours fasting..
However, I've eaten pudding from my brother's hospital at one night and macaroni schotel in one of the X'mas celebration at the other night (not consecutively).. :p

8.My brother got his longest convulsion (approximately 5 hours) after a long time on December 20 and got hospitalized again for 3 days.

One thing I couldn't forget is the neurology doctor didn't want to be paid for his 2 times visit..
Wow.. What an awesome God we have :) I'm so ashamed w/ myself because these last 6 months, especially after the unfortunate event, my personal relationship w/ Him is getting further. :(

9. New second hand home furniture! :)

10. Registered as Mandarin language's student!

I'm registered as this student officially on December 13 at Silaparamita monastery..
The class will begin on January 10, 2014 on Tuesday and Friday at 8.30 PM..
Wish me all the best!
I'm grateful that I could take this class while I have to work..
Can't wait for new friends and atmosphere :)

For the resolution, still the same with previous year, I will keep up w/ my 2012 resolution:

Get up at 2 AM every morning for the Daily Bread -> a quarter done :p
Go to sleep at maximum 11 PM -> almost done!
Finish reading the whole Bible -> not yet
Learn to drive car -> not yet. I hope it can be fulfilled in the end of this year. Amen!
Taking part time job (I want it to be in HACCP field but, we'll see.. I've been thinking a lot about this and I've come to a conclusion: I don't like working in the lab.. Yea.. Some of the reason is because my internship experience..) -> done! Apparently I got full time job even it's not the job I want, but I enjoy it so much :)
Taking graduate studies in bioethics field (Amen!) -> seems like if it's according to His plan I'll take the scholarship in 2016 after my 2 years working experience. Amen!
Get involve in children activist organization :) -> done!

When you saw the title, didn't you think about oldies time?
Since new technology develops every day and we can communicate more easily..
Or maybe not.. Okay..
Holiday season makes time to update friend's blog news..
And this one got me..
It's about random postcard exchange around the world or better known as post crossing..
All you have to do is register on the website and automatically you'll get postcard ID and write down your own profile..
You can write down a brief self introduction, your postcard picture like or dislike, or must written line in the postcard sent to you..

For the start, you must send postcard to random person (5 people in maximal)..
To who? Just click the "Send a postcard" button and you'll get the address and postcard ID that you must write on your postcard..
If your postcard is already received by one person than he/she will register the postcard on the website..
That means you'll get one postcard sent by another random person that already join Postcrossing and so on..

Today I visit a nearest well-known book store to buy 5 postcards and nearest post office to buy the stamps..
I really am excited..

The first postcard is for Natalia in Russia. I choose photo of Dani tribe from Papua only because I can't find photo of Komodo national park. I remembered she likes wild nature so I bought this. Hehe. My imagination of wild nature is kind of weird. Maybe I was too excited to buy an unique postcard from my country. Sorry Natalia if you don't you like it. It is a memorable one though.

The second postcard is for Martina in Russia. I choose photo of Fatahillah Museum because she prefers picture from my city or country. I hope you like it, Martina :)

The third postcard is for Cordula in Germany. I choose photo of Tangkuban Perahu mountain because she said she likes awesome landscape. I hope you like it, Cordula :)

The fourth postcard is for Gerda in Germany. I choose photo of Teater Keong Emas because she wants to know about the city where I live. I hope you like it, Gerda :)

The fifth postcard is for Alla in Russia. I choose photo of Toba lake because her favourite's first mention is nature. I hope you like it, Alla :)

A Life Series of Unfortunate Event

Hi.......!!!!!!!!
Thank you for waiting for about 5 months.. hehehe
It's been really, really a "colorful" months for me..
Started with a new job at 7 Eleven Indonesia at March 28, 2013..

It felt so good to have a job with many nice people around me..
The only issue is I felt very uncomfortable with "unknown" stalker behind me..
Really.. A grown up girl who is on fire w/ her new job, is also scared out of hell w/ "stalking" stuff..
I'm so (very) glad those days are over..
Here the story goes:
In the first couple days, I enjoy my class very much.
I made friend w/ some people in my management trainee class..
There were about 30 people in class w/ various unique character..
The quiet one, the humorous one, the cool one (haha..), the lovely one, the kind one, and many others..
I have close friend named Eka Pascarina (called "Ina")..
Really sad I couldn't post her photo because I have erased all the photos and my contacts related to all my friends there because of the "stalking scene".. Felt so stupid..
Right now, I really miss them all... >___<
By the way, I got group assignment from my trainer in class..

Formerly, I really enjoy working with them but as time goes by I started to feel that there's "a stalker" and it really annoyed me..
My emotion were getting played by it..
Even more, I couldn't express what I want to do in that group assignment..
Maybe it's because I always get used to do all things by myself and back when in the university, I always manage my team in all group assignment..
But at there, I felt everything was set..

At first, I thought that it's all set by Daddy JC..
That I didn't have to trouble myself w/ many stuff to do like I did in university..
But over time, I felt like they put a surveillance camera in my house..
I could think like that because all the talking within my group is very weird..
It's like someone knows all my activity at home..
The most talkative person in my group talked about a very unrelated topics that really match with everything I do at home..
From then, I was a bit stressed..
Moreover, every people I met on street were talking about the same ("my private") topics..
How come I didn't get stressed??
But when I remember that I must work in order to get my scholarship, I really push myself to it and I decided to enjoy every single time I spend there..

Then, in the middle time I felt all people in the class are changing to a very different person, including my closest friend..
I didn't understand every conversation between two or a group of them..
I felt like I'm the one who always miscommunicate w/ each of them..
And sometime I felt that they were talking about "my private" topics at home..
I really don't like it at all..
Meantime my unstable emotion keep getting stronger..
I felt a bit relieved when I did "sales associate implementation" at 7 Eleven Buaran because I felt apart from the "stalking" circumstances at the office..
I would like to give thanks to all sales associate at 7 Eleven Buaran:
Pak Wahidin, Mas Bagindo, Mbak Ida, Mbak Dina, Mas Farid, Mbak Alfi, Mbak Lis, etc.
I really learn much about food and beverages retail system implementation there..

Back in the office, the fear of "stalking scene" came back again..
I really tried to concentrate to my job as retail merchandising..
I tried many trick to overcome my fear..
One of the trick is MUSIC.. ;)
I put on my headset while I did my job assignment so that I couldn't hear the "stalking topics"..
I couldn't imagine how I must live and work with my life open to everybody..
Moreover, I felt I was being troublesome for everybody at 7 Eleven..
Why?? The only reason because I have faith for this company..

I worked there because they have a very good motto:
"I lead by example, I do what is right, and I serve other"
For you who are also JC follower like me should have known this..
It's really like what Daddy JC teach us..
I really recommend Daddy JC follower who has business background and ESPECIALLY has interest in retail business apply for "management trainee" at 7 Eleven..
Then because I couldn't stand it anymore (I felt really, really stressed working without apparent cause of scare and with many suspicious feeling) , I decided to quit the job (I officially quit the job at April 31, 2013)..

After I quit the job, the "stalking scene" WERE NOT OVER YET..
I bought a good book at Gramedia Matraman named "Life @ Work" by John C. Maxwell..
It told that David is the example of man of faith that have successful career in his life..
And his life is open to everybody..

I shouted and cried to Daddy JC, "God, I'm not David. I'm Jessie Your daughter. I don't want my life be opened to people in this world..."
Why I said "people in this world"??
Because I saw people in the internet and in television are different..
I could see their "very weird" body language and voice tone..
I could also hear my "private topics" were talked about by them all..
NOTE THIS PEOPLE, I'M NOT CRAZY YET (hmm,, maybe some of you think I gone crazy already.. It's up to you.. It's your right to call me that.. I just feel like I must state it so that I can assure you all)..
I'm writing this with a very clear state of mind..
And at that time also, I'm in a very stable condition..
I'm not a primordial man who haven't watch TV or internet..
IN FACT, I'm an internet geek..
At university, I spent my whole time reading journal in my laptop, blogging, streaming movie and video...
Do you wanna hear a crazier fact??
Most of my song in my Android and Blackberry's playlist changes in the lyrics..
I usually download song from YouTube and the singer usually takes couple foreword or "promotion word" before or after the song..
And the words were also CHANGE!! (weird and scary....)

Another thing, I heard voice of unknown people in my house that reaffirms my suspicion about the surveillance camera in my house..
The voice also mention people that I've known before like Pak Jeff, Pak Henry, Ivan, Ntep, Angel, Awen, Adit, Ina, Jinia, Audi, etc..
FYI, Pak Jeff and Pak Henry is the owner of some 7 Eleven outlet..
Ivan, Ntep, and Angel is my cousin..
Adit and Ina is one of my friend at 7 Eleven...
Jinia and Audi is my campus friend..
And Awen is my "long time no see" friend which I used to have a crush on him..
According to psychology, if I made mistake about the "surveillance camera" thingy, I constantly have auditory hallucination about this name because I have some memory with them..
Other auditory hallucination I've experienced is I heard some people talking and comment on me (they read my face expression) while I watched YouTube video (very weird, huh?!)..
But that's what I experienced and I just want you all to know and leave some comment.. :D

Yes, I think we all have bad and good memory with some special person in our life and our brain is made by Daddy JC to keep that memory..
It's all about how we keep up with those memories..
To confirm that I wasn't crazy yet, I also took a brief consultation with Cici Angel (the name above) who has graduated as master in psychology..
She said that auditory hallucination is VERY NORMAL but it's already too much if the voice constantly annoy me..
At that time being, I didn't feel much annoyed..
But as time goes by, it already gone too much until I assume that my life was like David's life and I told all my life event at home (I assume that my talk were being heard by people in this world through a kind of teleconference.. :p)
I think that's THE CRAZIEST THING I've done in my life.. hahaha..
HEY, ALL PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD DID CRAZY STUFF ONCE OR TWICE OR OFTEN IN THEIR LIFE, RIGHT?? :))
I even getting more suspicious to every people I met including my own family..

I knew it wasn't right so I decided to stay overnight at my cousin, Cici Lisa Yanuar's, house at Sentul where I could also help her to watch over my 2 years old niece, Shalom..

When I stayed there I FELT that some of my dream is already granted by Daddy JC..

First, my "life series of unfortunate event" is God's grace for my biggest dream to set the world on fire..

Second, my dream to have a biological child and an adopted child is INDIRECTLY granted at Sentul (Shalom is Cici Lisa's biological child and Samuel is Cici Lisa's adopted child)..

Third, my dream to have wood floor is also INDIRECTLY granted there (my room which is also the kids' room is covered with wood)..

Yes, that's what I'm doing lately..
I started paper crafting when I was searching for my Sunday School kids' Easter activity, and then I kinda become addicted to it.. :p

Hi all..
Here I am.. Back from the real to virtual world again.. :p
I feel bored with my catchy Sponge Bob background, so I change it to quite catchy fruity background.. Hehe..
This time, as always, I'm taking a moment to tell you my brief flashback of 2012..
So, let's start...

I've spent about half year to finish my research and thesis "Extraction and Characterization of Bromelain from Fruit, Core, Peel, and Crown of Palembang Pineapple"..
In some occasions, it turned my life upside down..
But I REALLY AM grateful for my campus fellowship (His Generation community) and my church fellowship (GAB Youth community) that had always strengthen my faith.. Thanks guys :)

After graduated at the end of July, I had a chance to fulfill the 6th point of my 2012 resolution with help from one of my docent, but in the middle of the process I canceled it because of financial problem..
Didn't give up just like that, I'm looking for other scholarship opportunity until I found an opportunity that requires two years of working experience in related field..
On one side I want to search for another scholarship that doesn't need any requirements but on the other side I want to feel the world of work..
Driven by many advise from people around me, I'm starting to find a job while some of my friends had already got their job..
I was so determined for it and pray to God that I could find one before Christmas..

While waiting for job interview, I got a chance to involve as Sunday School teacher..
It had been a long time since I actively involved in Sunday School service in my old church..
I am absolutely grateful for this opportunity..
It really burst out my passion for children..

Yes. There's so much excited energy there. Until now. Thanks Dad.

On September 27 and 28, I join my church retreat..
I enjoyed this retreat but to be honest, I didn't get something special from it..
However, I knew more about spiritual life and I learn to serve Him not only because of my passion for kids but also because of my love for Him..

On the 10th of November, mom and dad celebrated their 25th wedding at our house..
At that time, I shared a testimony until I sobbed.. It was a memorable one..

At the beginning of December I got a job with position that I want..
But unfortunately, it didn't last long..
Sorry, I couldn't tell more about it here because of some reasons..
I did learn so much from it, especially about my personal relationship with Him..
From that short experience, I just felt that He had already been sooo good to me even though I (again) didn't prioritizing Him throughout those periods of time..
I felt guilty but, I didn't want to drag myself through each day in guilty like what I've did before..
I've confessed it in my prayer and that's it..
I only believe that He already forgives me, doesn't remember even a bit about it, and I continue to have faith that He has already provided me a better one.. Yes!

On 25th of December, I celebrated Christmas with my mom and dad's family.. :)
It's always nice to gather with whole family, having a fellowship, knowing the latest news about each others, and every family got some Christmas presents..

It was the first time for me after she passed away..
Well, I rarely miss her.. But my brain always recall her every time I hear, sing, or see the lyrics of some nursery rhymes like "Humpty Dumpty", "Baa Baa Black Sheep", "Hickory Dickory Dock", "Are You Sleeping?" or some folklore like "Thumbelina" or "Goldilocks and The Three Bears"..

Some of my 2012 resolution (1st, 2nd, 3rd point) are half done but the other's not yet..
Looking at those resolution (and suddenly it reminds me of one of my cousin's talking), I'm starting to think that some people would look at me as an idealist person..
But for me, it's just me being optimistic..
I wouldn't feel so disappoint if I couldn't fulfill all my targets because, in my opinion, if I couldn't fulfill it then there's gonna be something new that I could learn from..
And for this year, I will keep up with those resolutions..

Do you still remember the story about "A Woman Caught in Adultery (title of NLT bible)"??
For you who don't know yet, here's the story goes..
It's from John 8:1-11 (New Living Translation)

Jesus returned to the Mount of Olives, ²but early the next morning He was back again at the Temple. A crowd soon gathered, and He sat down and taught them. ³As He was speaking, the teachers of religious law and the Pharisees brought a woman who had been caught in the act of adultery. They put her in front of the crowd.

⁴“Teacher,” they said to Jesus, “this woman was caught in the act of adultery. ⁵The law of Moses says to stone her. What do You say?”

⁶They were trying to trap Him into saying something they could use against Him, but Jesus stooped down and wrote in the dust with his finger. ⁷They kept demanding an answer, so He stood up again and said, “All right, but let the one who has never sinned throw the first stone!” ⁸Then He stooped down again and wrote in the dust.

Think again about the bolded sentence..
I ask you now, "Who is in this world never sinned???"
Even the greatest pastor/preacher has sinned.. Right?!

And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own? ~

YES... Knowingly or unknowingly, PEOPLE in this world has NATURAL SIDE OF JUDGEMENT.. Positive or negative judgement..
BUT Jesus DON'T have the negative one..
He ALWAYS sees us as a right person, HIS FAVORED THE MOST..
Because of what?? Because our risk of death caused by our SINGLE sin that WE ARE THE ONE WHO ACTUALLY MUST EXPERIENCE IT has been placed on Jesus..
When He died on the cross, all the penalty of our SINGLE sin (which is DEATH) is paid by Him..
Could you imagine living a life like in the Old Testament (before Jesus died)??
You can see some examples of Old Testament's life in Nabal's story (1 Samuel 25), Ananias and Sapphira (Acts 5:1-11), or Lot's wife (Genesis 19:1-29)..
Those stories show us death penalty of sin..
BUT THANKS GOD, WE LIVE NOW IN New Testament..
Jesus has already died so we NEVER HAVE even a penalty of our SINGLE sin anymore..
Some people may think about this: IF we NEVER HAVE penalty for our sin, then we CAN live life in the way FULL of sin.. Right??
But that's actually NOT TRUE..
If we REALLY TRULY realize how Jesus suffered the death FOR our sin, we would HATE sin..
Imagine if someone has SAVED you FROM DEATH, WOULDN'T you feel INDEBTED to him/her??
But, again, Jesus DON'T WANT you to feel like that..
He ONLY want you to BELIEVE that He has already saved you because He LOVES you..
And He ALWAYS wants to give THE BEST for you.. THAT'S IT...

After that, you WOULDN'T dare to make a negative judgement on people because "If Jesus who has NO sin doesn't judge people but instead accepts them whoever they are, how dare we (imperfect person) judge other (same imperfect person like us)??"

After that, you WOULD feel how all SINGLE things in your life is THE BEST GIFT from Him..
Just like my blog's title: Each day's miracle.. Believe and feel it :)

I just watched one of American Idol 2011 audition on YouTube..
I know I'm late but I just knew about this one American Idol 2011 contestant named Chris Medina..
He didn't passed the elimination round for semifinal, but he does have strong background in his singing career..

Time sure flies so fast..
It's already time for flashback again.. :D
I'm questioning to myself why I must do this? What for?
And I answer to myself (hahaha)..
By recapping all things I've done or experienced in one whole year, it helped me to become a more grateful person and to learn from the past so that I can make a better resolution for another new year to live.. :))

Wow, wow, wow..
That's how I express all things I've gone through 2011..
Yes, I feel like I really am formed this year..
All happy and unhappy moments in this year really have changed me much..
It changed my point of view in some ways, it improved my self-control, it somehow helped me to overcome my greatest fear in a very unique way, and most of all made me closer to Him.. :))

I've made half of the flashback in June 2011..
Now I'm going to continue it..

9. The first time I created a video using Windows Movie Maker ;p It's for one of my faculty club's event called "Penelitian Universal" on 22nd of September. We looked up for an experiment about bubbles from the internet, we tried it, we documented it in a video, and we were chosen as the second winner! Thanks to my solid team: Beatrix, Carla, Sheila, and Clara :)

10. Microbes blog. Remember Microbes, my faculty bulletin? The blog was officially published in May 2011. I took part in the layout design. www.microbesgoesonline.blogspot.com :)

11. The first time (again) I got a chance to be one of laboratorium assistants for my junior at campus. I have asked Him since the 4th semester and He gave me this chance in 7th semester. Well, why I asked for this chance? The only motivation of mine is I want to learn how to transfer my knowledge to others. And I've learned much from this experience. Thanks Dad :) I know You heard my prayer and waited for the best time.

Thanks also to all my junior (the first photo is my message and impression's notes from all bioinformatic participants during my assistance) and all bioinformatic laboratorium's assistants (the girls in the photo: Myra, me, Stefani, Marlin, Isabella, the only boy: Theda) and Pak Adi Yulandi (as bioinformatic docent) for the help, cooperation, and togetherness all this time :)

12. Bromelain extraction and characterization! This is my research for final assignment that I've started since October 2011. Since this is not my real passion, I really am learn to love all the enzyme thingy ;). So why enzyme? Hmm.. The reason I choose my research topic is because I don't want to deal with DNA, plant, or microorganism. LOL. Second reason is the benefit of my research result can be applied directly for some industries especially food industry. I've done the pre-research final test. It tested my knowledge and mastery level in my research (the research method, bromelain information, etc). This final test TRULY has taught me to fully depend on Him. That was a real prove that I could't depend on myself but Him. I'm way thankful for this experience. I hope I could learn more from this research to prepare me more for the future :)

13. November 19; December 23 & 24, 2011. My brother got convulsion for the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th time in this year and didn't got hospitalized. That time was for my mom to prove her faith. I, my dad, and my mom only praised and prayed until the convulsion stopped. We were struggling for approximately 1 hour. I still could feel the joyfulness I felt that day. 'Cause You are faithful to all that You have promised :))

14. Learning guitar! :) I got a guitar (the one that show up in the video above) from the last tenant of my other house (now the house is already sold). They left the guitar with some strings broken. My dad took it and currently fixed it. I myself want to learn to play guitar since long time ago. Maybe this is the time! I started learning the chords from song books I have last month and now I become addicted to it. I never miss a day not playing it, even during days of final test. ;p

15. Grow in fellowship. First, this year I'm trusted to lead one of sharing groups consist of 4 or 5 peoples in my campus fellowship twice. The members of each sharing group is randomised each week, so it's not a permanent group. I'm longing to have my own permanent small fellowship group since high school. Maybe this can be a practice before I'm trusted with a bigger responsibility. Amen! Second, I have new fellowship in my new church called "Youth"! Yes, I grew up and learned much in these two fellowship. I have been taught not to leave my fellowship because those are people who support me to keep on fire in Him. I've already left my fellowship for a period of time and it proved that I become more far away from Him. When I'm far away from Him, I found no peace, no joy, no spirit at all. Really don't wanna do that again.

16. A puppy to care for. Yes, yes, yes. We named it Browny. It's a male puppy, born from a wild dog that like to go around my house complex. Browny is very active and smart puppy. My dad took him couple weeks after he's born. He has two siblings. My dad said he's the second born. As a puppy, Browny love to bite things around him and he still learn to bark.

So, this is it..

Well, formerly I have crossed out the fourth point in my 2010 resolution but it turns out it is achieved this year..

That is producing "my own money" by being bioinformatic assistant.. :)

We never know what would happen, right?

He always works in unexpected way and it's all for our own good..

This year my desire to achieve the first point of my 2010 resolution almost becomes unbearable..

So I will include it again in my 2012 resolution..

There's also a slight change in my maximum bed and Daily Bread time, since I have made a commitment this recent few weeks..

And for the third and fourth point of my 2011 resolution I think I'll eliminate it..

It's because for the third point, I learned that it's not a resolution for me again..

I have grown up and it must become my habit..

The fourth point is because I don't have to do that again in 2012 since I'll officially not longer a Microbes member again..

Besides, I never do my own weekly review since I moved to design division.. ;p

Okay, here we goes, Jc's 2012 resolution:

A Christmas Letter

Dear All,

As you well know, we are getting closer to my birthday. Every year there is a celebration in my honor and I think that this year the celebration will be repeated.

During this time there are many people shopping for gifts, there are many radio announcements, TV commercials, and in every part of the world everyone is talking that my birthday is getting closer and closer.

It is really very nice to know, that at least once a year, some people think of me.

As you know, the celebration of my birthday began many years ago.

At first people seemed to understand and be thankful of all that I did for them, but in these times, no one seems to know the reason for the celebration.

Family and friends get together and have a lot of fun, but they don’t know the meaning of the celebration. I remember that last year there was a great feast in my honor. The dinner table was full of delicious foods, pastries, fruits, assorted nuts and chocolates. The decorations were exquisite and there were many, many beautifully wrapped gifts.

But, do you want to know something? I wasn’t invited.

I was the guest of honor and they didn’t remember to send me an invitation.

The party was for me, but when that great day came, I was left outside, they closed the door in my face and I wanted to be with them and share their table.

In truth, that didn’t surprise me because in the last few years all close their doors to me. Since I wasn’t invited, I decided to enter the party without making any noise. I went in and stood in a corner.

They were all drinking; there were some who were drunk and telling jokes and laughing at everything. They were having a grand time.

To top it all, this big fat man all dressed in red wearing a long white beard entered the room yelling Ho-Ho-Ho! He seemed drunk. He sat on the sofa and all the children ran to him, saying: ”Santa Claus, Santa Claus” as if the party were in his honor!

At midnight all the people began to hug each other; I extended my arms waiting for someone to hug me and do you know no-one hugged me.

Suddenly they all began to share gifts. They opened them one by one with great expectation. When all had been opened, I looked to see if, maybe, there was one for me. What would you feel if on your birthday everybody shared gifts and you did not get one?

I then understood that I was unwanted at that party and quietly left.

Every year it gets worse. People only remember the gifts, the parties, to eat and drink, and nobody remembers me.

I would like this Christmas that you allow me to enter into your life.

I would like that you recognize the fact that almost two thousand years ago I came to this world to give my life for you, on the cross, to save you.

Today, I only want that you believe this with all your heart.

I want to share something with you. As many didn’t invite me to their party, I will have my own celebration, a grandiose party that no one has ever imagined, a spectacular party. I’m still making the final arrangements.

Today I am sending out many invitations and there is an invitation for you. I want to know if you wish to attend and I will make a reservation for you and write your name with golden letters in my great guest book.

Only those on the guest list will be invited to the party.

Those who don’t answer the invite, will be left outside. Be prepared because when all is ready you will be part of my great party.

Spouse Criteria

I have made this before actually..
But I only mentioned this in my prayer..
When I saw my senior high school's post about this, I kind of re-thought again, "why don't I wrote it down?"
There's not much criteria in my list though.. Here they are:

1) A "newborn" man
It's not newborn in literally..
A Godly man must have understood this..
It really is the basic..

2) Love Daddy JC more than anything
When I wrote "more than anything" it means "more than his family and more than me also"..
Extreme? No..
A man like this, I won't ever worry about his loyalty, his maturity, his manner, or everything..
Why is this included in my criteria?
Because "true love" can only be felt with Daddy JC..
If someone has felt the "true love", he/she can apply it to others, including his/her family and also his/her life partner..

How could I know he is a newborn man and love Daddy JC more than anything?
I myself have to build deep relationship with Daddy JC because I know He already prepared me the one..
I only have to wait and prepare myself..
So that when the time come, I could see who the one is..

3) A worshipper

I think every creature is made to worship..

It's not that he must has a good voice or can play music instrument..

He only must love to worship Him in every single thing he does..

4) Support my passion
It would be so nice if he love kids like I do..
But I don't ask for that..
I only want him to support my passion..
Because Daddy JC has gave me this passion and I really am willing to sacrifice a lot for this passion..

One important thing:
I have been taught that if I have some criterias for my life partner, I must have already had those criterias in me..
Because a couple should have the same spiritual life level..
Because when we get married, there is no more "my life" or "your life"..
There's only "our life"..

Since they are no longer two but one,” ~ Matthew 19:6a (New Living Translation)

Isn't this verse always be said in a Christian wedding?
And "our life" must be managed to be closer and closer to Daddy JC..

Yueyue, Chinese toddler struck in hit-and-run, reported brain dead

A Chinese toddler who was ignored by 18 passersby and left in the street after she was run over twice is now brain dead, doctors said Wednesday.

A state-run paper China Daily, however, is still confidently reporting that Yueyue is alive. Her “blood pressure and heart beat shows signs of stability,” their most recent story reads.

Is it possible that China’s censors are at work? It’s unclear, as state-run news agency Xinhua is reporting her death.

Either way, Yueyue’s story does not look good for the government.

The seven excruciatingly long minutes in which 18 people decide not to help a bleeding two-year-old girl lying in the road make China look like anything but the “harmonious society” President Hu Jintao has envisioned.

Yueyue is also not seeing any kind of miraculous turnaround, like the one China was able to celebrate for Xiang Weiyi, a toddler who survived the fatal bullet train crash in July and just started to walk again. (Watch a video of Weiyi in the the train five minutes before the fatal crashhere.)

Instead, Yueyue is now “in a deep coma and clinically brain dead,” according to doctors quoted by Xinhua. Yueyue’s parents are facing the decision about whether to turn off the life support machine that is keeping her alive.

There may be one similarity between the hit-and-run and the bullet train crash, however, and that is the media crackdown their cases may have inspired.

After reporters began aggressively covering the July train crash, which killed at least 40 people, government censors demanded the media stop writing about it. Most newspapers soon switched to upbeat reporting on other stories.

A commenter on Weibo, the Chinese version of Twitter, wrote at the time: “Why have the people been robbed of the right to know? How long do they want to hide. ... We won't accept being treated like idiots.”

In Yueyue’s case, a media crackdown seems possible because of the legions of people calling for better legal protection for Good Samaritans. A prevalent fear in the country is that those who help the injured will be blamed for the injuries. Much of this has to do with a 2006 case in which a man who helped an elderly woman to the hospital was dragged to court by her family and made to pay a large share of her medical bills.

Conflicting reports about Yueyue support the idea that censorship of Yueyue’s story has already begun.

There are the conflicting reports on China Daily and Xinhua, two agencies controlled by the government, about whether or not Yueyue is alive.

There is also China Daily’s story Tuesday, in which it was reported the drivers who hit Yueyue had not seen her on the road, and were sorry for their mistake. The Shanghaiist blog, reported a totally different story the same day, writing that one of the drivers had admitted to trying to escape before anyone saw him and attempted to bribe Yueyue’s father to stay quiet.

China Daily also reported that the many passersby hadn’t noticed Yueyue lying on the street, while the video makes it very clear at least some of them did.

As after the July train crash, if government censors are making an attempt to silence information about Yueyue, they aren’t doing a very good job.

Lu Yuegang, a former investigative reporter for the Party-run China Youth Daily, told Reuters back in July: “These days, efforts to seal off the flow of opinion can't work like it did before.”

Another Chance to Learn

I've been thinking much lately..
And I'm yearning to share it to all of you..
It's about my spiritual life..
Suddenly, I'm kind of aware of the different between the period when I have a good communication with Him and the period when I don't..
Back when I was in high school until the second year in campus, I can say I have a close enough relationship with our Big Daddy..
I could feel the situation around me is very calm and comfort, I found a long-lasting peace in my heart, I could sense His grace every single day in my life.. It's awesomely beautiful..
Especially in my second semester, I found the braveness to ask my parents to do our family altar again (we once had our family altar when I was in the 6th grade, but it stopped)..
At this time, I really feel that every family should have their own family altar..
Why? Because based on what I have experienced, I learn so much in it..
In the family altar, me, my father, and my mother share all problems/ struggle we currently have..
Then we share our opinion, exchange ideas, and most important of all we strengthen each other through our prayer..
I could know more about what a finance manager do at work (it's my mom.. hahaha..)
I learn more about my mom and dad's character, learn to be a good listener, to solve a problem, and how to see thing from two perspective so I could be a good mediator whenever my mom and dad got a conflict (you can also read my old post)..
Well, although my brother used not to join our family altar, but we always pray for him so that someday he could join us..

Okay, let's back to the main topic..
About few months before my brother had the accident, our family altar has stopped again and my relationship with Big Daddy started to become apart..
My morning prayer was still on but it became more infrequent..
I'm so thankful when the accident happened, I chose the right path, which is to stand firm in my faith..
Yup, that's the only thing that help me to fight on..
Maybe somebody thought I was already crazy because I always smile and laugh whenever I talked about my brother.. But that's my "tangible" faith..
As time went by, my brother was getting better while my personal relationship with Him was getting messed-up..
I was just keeping my faith but I didn't have a good communication with Him..
I realize that I was so wrong! James 2: 26 (KJV) said "For as the body without the spirit is dead so faith without works is dead."
Yes, I did feel the impact..
I didn't find peace or comfort in my heart, I easily got afraid and worried on something, I lost the confident in me..

However, those two periods have taught me much..
I felt like I'm reaffirmed that I just couldn't stay away from Him.. I could do nothing without Him..
I'm reminded to stay focus on my priority, stand firm in my faith, whatever it takes..
I also learn that human skill, maturity, achievement, success, are all grace from Him..
We actually don't have anything to be proud about or anything to be jealous about..
"Don't have anything to be proud about" does not mean you have to be a person with low self esteem..
Contrarily, it means that you have to be proud of every small things you've achieved but don't let your pride makes you become a condescending person..
Most of all, I learn that a good communication with Him really is a MUST..
I remember the story about Maria and Martha..
The first thing Jesus want from us is not our service.. He just wants us to stay still under His presence and try to listen what He really want from us.. Therefore, it needs a deep relationship to be able to listen to His voice..
I'm still learning now.. I just need to be focus and makes Him to be the center of all my activity in life.. Difficult?
Well, I think that word depends to our will and perspective.. ;)

It's Been A Long Time

I bet some of you, especially you movies addict, sure won't pass it by.. ;p

Hmm.. I'm kinda lazy to make reviews..

So I'll just leave my short comment for each of those..

This time is an India movie which has many moral lesson inside..

It's about loving what you do..

Not for pride, not for money, not for appreciation from people, or else..

Long storyline but definitely NOT boring.. Trust me, you'll like it! :)

Next is true story about an inventor of intermittent windshield wiper named Robert Kearns..

Because of his invention, he involved in a patent infringement case against Ford Motor Company..
Don't you think it's cool?! A man against a company..

I think if Robert Kearns weren't a "crazy" man, he would never win the case..

Do you know, he even got divorced because of this 12 years case... Wew..

I salute him, though..

I salute his kids also :)

Let's move on then.. This one is a Lifetime Television film about foster kids in America..

You should know that most of America's foster kids, after they reach 18 (which means they are no more under the charge of government foster care), end up homeless, in jail, or dead..

I dyingly wanna be like Dr. B in this movie..

I just imagine one day I will take real action for children's rights..

I used to have an ambition about adopting a child when I grow up..

And I think it's still valid.. :)

Now it's time for Disney movie!! Yay! In Indonesia, the title is Rapunzel..

I heard in the other country the title is still Tangled..

My college friend said its purpose is to attract people to watch because the title "Rapunzel" is more familiar..
Hmm, I think that make sense..

Furthermore, this Rapunzel is kinda unique..

Even the prince is way different.. xD

I absolutely will feel a pity for every children who haven't watch this awesome Disney movie..

A story about troubled teenager who is imprisoned by the local police in his own house..

I forget why he got imprisoned..

Instead of doing nothing, he started to spy his neighbourhood with a binocular..

And that's when his love life begin, followed by a threat from a fugitive killer..

Unique storyline, huh?!

Another Lifetime's film about Christmas! :))

A poor 9 years old Emily is just left by her mother in a car accident..

She is taken by a child agency worker, Patricia Addison (usually called Patty)..

Emily stays in Patty's house while Patty is looking for Emily's mom relatives..

During this time, Emily indirectly help Patty making peace with her lousy past..

Maybe you can guess the end of the story..

In my opinion, this movie suitable to be watched with your whole family members in a warm-nice Christmas eve.. :)

One more thing.. The Emily character here is so cute.. ^^

I love Kate Hudson's & Dane Cook's act here..

Okay I will tell you a short review for this one..

Kate Hudson plays as Alexis, a successful-single career woman. While Dane Cook plays as Tank, a help line operator who often help guys in winning or losing a girl. *Weird way to help~* Until his own step cousin, Dustin (Jason Biggs) who has a crush on Alexis, ask for his help. Actually Dustin likes Alexis since they went to the same college, but Alexis doesn't feel the same way. Alexis find herself falling in love with Tank without knowing that Tank is Dustin's step cousin. And Tank feels the same for Alexis. Yeah, big fight happens between Tank and Dustin when Dustin find out before Tank has a chance to tell him. Feeling so bad toward Dustin, Tank starts to act like a jerk in front of Alexis and her family on Alexis' sister wedding day. He does that so Alexis would hate him and return to Dustin. His plan seems to work well. Alexis breaks up with him, but it doesn't open a way for Dustin.

Well, love can't lie.. :p

I adore Chow Yun Fat in this movie.. He plays as Master Roshi, a wise yet dirty old man..

Master Roshi is the one who teach Goku a powerful spell, Kamehameha..

I rarely (maybe have never) see him playing a comedy scene..

A bit weird to me, but he did make me laugh.. x)

The storyline is just like the other Dragonball live action movie: collect the seven dragon balls, fight Piccolo, revive the dragon Shen Long, and make one wish..

The different here is: the Goku character comes from modern life; he and his lover, Chi Chi, goes to college; no flying nimbus; and different wish to Shen Long..

Hah, she always got the show..

She plays as a business woman who got engaged to her assistant by accident for the sake of saving her business..

Everyone knows, what started wrong won't end well..

But again, love change everything..

Then.. Tada~ Everyone wants an happy ending, right?! You got it here.. :)

What is Angus? Angus is the cat.. Yes, cat with the black flat cap..

The girl on the center is Georgia Nicholson (Georgia Groome)..

And her three friends are Rosie (Georgia Henshaw), Jas (Eleanor May Tomlinson), and Ellen (Manjeeven Grewal)..

The boy holding the guitar is the boy who is chased by Georgia..

His name is Robbie (Aaron Johnson).. He is so handsome here.... @.@

Basically this story is about a 14 years old teenager who learns about family togetherness, love life, and friendship from her life experience..

Simple storyline but still there's a moral lesson inside..

You'll learn about managing your priority in life, accepting who you truly are, putting aside your ego, and valuing friendship..

Well, Tim Burton never failed.. Haha..

Quite an imagination.. Great animation..

Its storyline is based on a novel by Neil Gailman titled the same..

One interesting thing from this movie is the doppelgänger..

What is it? According to Wikipedia, in fiction or folklore, a doppelgänger is a tangible double of a living person that typically represents evil..

But actually there's a scientific explanation for it..

It was found by Shahar Arzy and colleagues of the University Hospital, Switzerland, that the doppelgänger phenomenon can be stimulated by applying electrical stimulation to the left temporoparietal junction of someone's brain..

It's also often linked to monothematic delusion which can occur with/without some mental illnesses like schizophrenia or dementia, else caused by organic disfunction like traumatic brain injury, stroke, or neurological disorder..

The fact tells that some well-known people, including Abraham Lincoln, have felt this phenomenon..

O yeah, for you who watch The Vampire Diaries TV series, you can also find the doppelgänger phenomenon there.. ;)

Pretty little Anna Chlumsky and geeky little Macaulay Culkin..

They plays in this 1991 film as two best friend, Vada Sultenfuss and Thomas J. Sennett..

Vada is a 9 years old tomboy girl and suffer from hypochondriasis (this one makes the funny scene. Imagine a 9 years old kid visit the doctor by herself every day for regular check-up. And she talks like she has a serious disease.. xD Oh, I forgot to tell you that the movie's genre is comedy-drama..). She has a widower father, Harry Sultenfuss (Dan Aykroyd), who works as funeral director as well as funeral parlor. Vada's mother was already dead when giving birth to Vada and because of that, Vada often thinks that she has killed her own mother (Poor girl..). Beside her father, there's also an invalid grandmother whom is Vada care for and who suffer from Alzheimer disease (What a life..). Sometimes we think life is not fair. Even a 9 years old girl w/ that kind of life must handle death of someone close to her (I mean not her mother, but another someone.. I cried at this scene.. :'(). But one thing for sure, Vada learns many things from event to event happens in her life. Those events definitely help Vada to grow up into a more mature girl.

My opinion about this movie? I'll let you guess it from my short review.. ;p

Spanglish is a story about an American family man, John Clasky (Adam Sandler), who fall in love with a Spanish woman, Flor Moreno (Paz Vega), that moves to his house as a housekeeper by request of his wife, Deborah Clasky (Téa Leoni)..

Why? Because his wife is fond of the Flor's daughter, Christina Moreno (Shelbie Bruce)..

She is such a bad figure for a mom..

She treats someone's daughter better than her own daughter just because her daughter doesn't fulfil her expectation..

And she cheats on her husband.. Haiz..

Fortunately, there's granny! I mean Deborah's mother, Evelyn Wright (Cloris Leachman)..

At first I don't really get the statement in the poster "every family has a hero"..

But now I know.. For me, Evelyn is the hero of Clasky family..

And for Moreno family, I think Flor is the hero..

I heart Flor character.. In contrast with Deborah, she represents a strong-loving mother figure..

Yes, I'm so out of blogging world..

My life until now is full of college's activity..

Even now, I'm in the middle of my final test for this semester..

I truly am struggling with my LAZYNESS... >_<

Nowadays, I feel like I've been tested..

I just found a situation that annoys me enough and I don't know how to deal with it..

I'm like a child who lose her way..

Or maybe a pig-headed person who keeps choosing the way on her own will while she knows well the best way she must choose.. T_T

I know You only want to take me to the next level..

But instead of following Your plan, I'm being such a troublesome for You..

The resolution I've made on the first month of 2011 still show up in my blog's main page..

I realize that I haven't done it well and it's already a half year.. Sheesh...
But I haven't failed yet! I still got 6 months more to make up for this..

If I take a look back at what has happened in my life for the last 6 months, I will never ever forget it..
It's really a blessed life of mine..

1. I'm officially finished my internship thingy on April 13, 2011. Thanks to my super duper patient mentor at PT Indofood Fritolay Makmur, Mr. Hendra Iswahyudi, and to my super duper nice docent advisor, Mrs. Noryawati Mulyono :) I still have to take care of my last assignment from Mr. Hendra after the final test (can't wait to meet the people there again! :D). Hopefully, everything goes smoothly. Yes, it will!

2. My sweet 21's birthday on the third of April where I got a handbag and a pair of shoes from my college friend, Eli, Anne, and Olivia. Thanks girls! Love you all :*

3. I chose to continue joining my faculty's bulletin team, MICROBES, in different division. From General Affair to Design. Always a pleasure to explore one of Daddy's gift :) This one decision pretty much has influenced my other decision. Actually, it helps me to be more focus to my priority.

One afternoon, my brother took the Bible, he opened it, and pointed a section. It's from Psalm 16. Then my dad asked him whether he want the bible section to be read and my brother said yes. I believe this is exactly what my brother feels right now though he can't express or say it. When I was told about this rare event (I was not at home when it happened), I felt so happy. If I remember my brother's behaviour at the past, I couldn't imagine one day he can be like this. Not in the negative way, but conversely. The old Jan Jeremiah (my brother's name) would never pray or read Bible except at Sunday service. Now, everyday he "read" the Bible (the one that read the Bible is my dad and my brother always listen to him), sing out songs for Him (he can memorize a song's lyric fast enough), moreover he always remember to pray first before eat, drink, or take his medicine. When I said "eat" and "drink", it doesn't mean only breakfast, lunch, or dinner. But every time he wants to eat and drink (biscuit, fruit, milk, water, etc). It's like he has formed into a WHOLE NEW person. Yes, he already is and I'm so thankful for that. Daddy JC is always the best! :D

5. June 5, 2011. The first time dad, mom, I, and my brother stood behind the altar and share our life testimony to the people at church. We also sang a song together titled "Bagi Tuhan Tak Ada yang Mustahil - Sari Simorangkir". Thanks Dad for letting me feel this experience. :)

6. June 11, 2011. The first time my brother didn't get hospitalized when he got convulsion. I'm so proud of my dad. Other people would be panic and call the doctor at time like that, but my dad has proved that our FAITH in Him NEVER EVER FAILED. Convulsions, it's NOTHING!

7. This one is my newest-full of gratefulness-memory. Curious? Hehe. Proud to present, our Plant Biotechnology class' final assignment: a STOP MOTION about MARKER ASSISTED SELECTION :D Once again, first time is always meaningful. Yes, this is the first time I and my friends make a stop motion. We got the second position for our creation! I myself also admire the other team's stop motion creation. There are three teams (including our team) who made a stop motion with different content and they are all good! The other two teams use the cardboard character aka Danbo as one of their property. It's so cute! I like it.

I will make a new post for this because I want to show you all the stop motions created by my colleagues and one other by my high senior school's friend. :D

8. I got accepted as one of my faculty's newcomers orientation period committee and also as one of my university's newcomers orientation period games facilitator. Hope for the new kind of experience from these two events. :)
