Video: Permanent Collection - "It's Alright"

Permanent Collection started out as a post-Young Prisms solo project for Jason Hendardy, but the band has since grown into a well-rounded shoegaze band after adding members Megan Dabkowski (bass), Brenden Nerfa (guitar) and Mike Stillman (drums). The band released a debut EP, Delirium, last summer, and they're following it with a new full-length, Newly Wed Nearly Dead, out August 7th on Loglady Records. We previously shared a download of the Newly Wed Nearly Dead single, "It's Alright", but now Permanent Collection have released a video for the single. ShadowBox - "Running Like A Ghost"

ShadowBox is the moniker of vocalist, instrumentalist, and producer Bonnie Baxter, who started her journey into music as a young girl. "When I was 13 I used to record singing my own words over R&B instrumental tapes or whatever I could get my hands on. Later I got my hands on a right handed acoustic guitar even though I was lefty. So I turned it upside down and taught myself how to play it so I can sing over it." Now the talented musician is set to release the Haunted by Colors EP through UK based label Pictures Music on July 24th. The Deer Tracks have been busy at creating an album trilogy known as The Archer Trilogy. Released in three parts with the third and final coming later this fall via The Control Group, the core duo of David Lehnberg & Elin Lindfors have released a new video for "Meant To Be" from last year's The Archer Trilogy Pt 2. Deer Tracks said the following about the video, "...The Deer Tracks play on an already obvious difference in appearance as they are shot individually with their instruments, visually relaying the strange juxtaposition of singer Elin Lindfors' ethereal voice against the harshness in both image and sound of her musical counterpart, David Lehnberg." She's worked with such bands as The Moroccos, The Vels, and Die Moster Die, before going solo. Pink Keys was inspired by such influences as '70s soul/disco, '80s new wave, and electronic music and seeks to unlock visions of different eras, places, and dimensions of consciousness. Sugarpop Records will release the sophomore album, Nordo, from Boston's Air Traffic Controller on June 26th. Air Traffic Controller is the project of singer/songwriter Dave Munro, who was a real air traffic controller for the U.S. Navy. The project has expanded to a six-piece, featuring Munro on lead vocals and guitar; multi-instrumentalist Steve Scott on lead guitar, keys, and more; big brother Richie Munro on drums; Casey Sullivan on bass, banjo, and backing vocals; with violinist Alison Shipton and Kiara Perico on viola. Baby Baby - "Don't Kiss The Merch Girl"

Baby Baby are purveyors of scuzzy punk rock that they refer to as "fun rock". The quartet of Fontez Brooks (Vocals, Guitar), Kyle Dobbs (Bass), Grant Wallace (Drums), and Colin Boddy (Percussion) indeed attack their music with an enthusiastic flare that's both raucous and free spirited. Take for instance some of the song title's from their album, Money, released in May 2011: "I Could Have Taken You to See the Blink 182 Reunion Show but I Spent $20 Taking You Out on a Date Instead and You Didn't Return My Phone Call so Now I Want My Refund (aka $20)" and "The Sandwich and I Thought We Were Friends". Based on those kind of titles, I'd have to say that "fun rock" could be the best way to describe Baby Baby. Download their single, "Don't Kiss The Merch Girl", below.
