Hello and welcome to Earth Destruction Directive, a Daikaiju Podcast! I am your host, Luke Jaconetti, and I want to take you all on a trip into the wild, woolly, and sometimes wacky world of Japanese giant monsters! We're going to talk about all your favorites -- everyone from Godzilla and King Ghidorah all the way down to Gappa and Yonggary.

In this episode we get a primer on daikaiju and the history of Japanese giant monster movies. We'll talk about how I came to love the genre and all of it's inhabitants, and where we are going in the future.
