I really enjoyed staying in a very peaceful and spiritually energetic house where I could expand my practice and studies.  After a nice long practice it was great to go on a beautiful nature hike which also seemed like an extension of my practice.

Thank you Celia for your encouraging words and kind  nature.  You helped set a catalyst for a sucessful retreat.  Thank you all that have contributed in making Earth Sanctuary possible.

The final blessing ceremony for the a newly completed Victory Buddhist stupa was held on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at Earth Sanctuary (www.earthsanctuary.org) , a nature preserve and retreat center on south Whidbey Island, North of Seattle, Wash.

The blessing and consecration ceremony was led by His Holiness Jigdal Dagchen Sakya, the Head Lama of Sakya Monastery of Tibetan Buddhism (www.sakya.org). H.H. J.D. Sakya was assisted by Her Eminence Dagmo Kusho Sakya, Dhungsey Zaya Rinpoche, Ven. Tulku Yeshi, Ven. Khenpo Jampa, and Lama Migmar.

Please visit the Earth Sanctuary Victory Stupa at 5536 Emil Road, Langley, Wash. and walk with reverence, prayer or meditation around the new stupa. An ADA-compliant parking space and sidewalk to the stupa enable the disabled to easily access the site and enjoy the Earth Sanctuary landscape.
