If you want, you can write him to his mail ID, vaidyanathan.pv@gmail.com

He talks about two major qualities of any human being "perseverance" and "letting go". A lot of times, because we are so attached to the subject, that its difficult for us to let go. We do not understand the importance of letting go. Also a lot of times, we do not understand the meaning of letting go. In this article, he has tried to make us realised that perseverance and letting go are not two different sides of the coin, but they both are required to succeed in life.

This article says that we need to follow perseverance for sure, but finally we don't need to stuck to that idea, if its not working. And this happens lots of time , life is a hit and trial. Unfortunately, GPS was not discovered before life... :) Hence we need to do our best, and after that just leave it to that higher one, universal power, who is there to steer our life. Though we can push the car of our life to our best, still once it starts, our driver ( that universal power) knows where it has to go.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Perseverance and letting go are both positive qualities that we all possess. However, despite their being life-enhancing qualities, these are often complementary and even antagonistic to each other, and need to be employed in sequence, and at the right time, rather than in isolation for us to achieve success, peace and harmony.

‘Try, try till you succeed’ is something we’ve all been taught in school. Success is 99% perspiration and 1% inspiration, we’re told, to highlight the importance of hard work. And work we must, for that is the very nature of life. Karma Yoga, as outlined in the Bhagavad Gita by Krishna speaks highly of work as a form of worship. Swami Vivekananda persuaded his followers to work ceaselessly till the goal is reached.

Success is determined by a combination of factors. Hard work is only one of them. Besides hard work, we also need talent, inspiration, creativity, luck and destiny. While most of us work hard, true success and joy come only to some, while most others have to remain content with whatever they get.

This brings us to the relationship between perseverance and letting go. Perseverance is the quality of sticking to one’s job and to one’s goals, come what may. Letting go, on the other hand, is exactly the opposite. It consists of putting one’s faith and trust in a higher power, whether we call it God or destiny, waiting patiently for results. While these two qualities may seem to be opposites they are, in fact, not so; they are complementary to each other.

Every venture, dream and project needs divine grace for its successful completion. Those who decline to believe in the power of the unknown are likely to continue struggling and will have to depend solely on their own efforts. They could meet with limited success, often hitting roadblocks which seem insurmountable or which drain away tremendous amounts of time, energy and money. The human mind and the ego are such that giving credit does not come easily. This is not only true where other people are concerned, but our mind and ego often do not even want to acknowledge the Power that runs the universe, day in and day out, without exception. Not wanting to give credit to God, destiny or fate, and wanting to corner all the praise is one reason why people find it difficult to let go and trust.

Hard work and perseverance are absolutely necessary, doubtless. But somewhere along the course, after having exhausted all human possibilities, one must learn to sit back, be detached from the outcome of our efforts, and hand over our endeavours to a higher power. How and when to do this is purely an intuitive or instinctive phenomenon. When we sincerely let go, not out of laziness, complacency and lethargy but after having done our very best, it is then that the process of life shifts to another plane, with the unseen hand coming into play. And the power or destiny works in myriad ways. A chance meeting, something overheard or read in the newspapers, the stirring of a memory, a different thought process, sudden release of funds that had dried up – something is likely to happen, which would put our work and project back on track.

When success becomes palpable, it is important to remember and acknowledge and give thanks to existence, without proudly proclaiming that everything was achieved only by our own perseverance.

source: timesofindia, dated, 19th May 2011
http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/home/opinion/edit-page/To-Persevere-And-Let-Go/articleshow/8419976.cms

Yes, HR don, because she feels that its only her.. and her that all should look upon when need arises. Though she doesn't know much about HR, but she got promoted to this position only because of her tenure and contacts within the organisation. GOD SAVE THE ORGANISATION.. & GOD SAVE JAGAN...

Jagan - Juhi's assistant.. From some time, Juhi is feeling that Jagan is getting more prominence in the organisation. And why not, its only Jagan who empathize with employees, its him who provide employee friendly solutions. He doesn't keep things lingering. He closes all issues on time. And thats why, most of the employees feel more comfortable with him. Anyways, Jagan is only an assistant manager - HR, and Juhi is Head HR.. Still she is getting insecure. Now thats really absurd. Isn't it.

But believe me, this is reality of many organisations, where people feel insecure of their subordinates and create blockages so the subordinate doesn't grow within the organisation. Unfortunately, they forget that one can hide a rose, but can not hide fragrance of a rose.

Jumping Juhi is an imaginary character. What else we would have expected. I believe every month, we get one or the other news report stating the future of recruitment in the industry. Trend of hiring through social networking is increasing.

Facebook and Twitter are going to become next naukri or monster ? Its too early to say, but not impossible.

But is the industry ready for it? I am not sure. How many corporates have their pages on Facebook? How many HR fraternity members are really active on Twitter? We should be ready for the next wave of hiring. We should understand, that it takes time to build one's credibility on social networking sites as well. You just can not create your account on day one , and expect hoards of people flocking to your account by next day. It works differently. And HR fraternity needs to understand this and be prepared for the change.

How many companies provide access to social networking sites like facebook and twitter? Very few. Because of company policies, we can not afford to miss the bus. We, HR people need to make our management understand the importance of social networking sites. Its simple marketing. If my target audience is online, then why i should not be. I as a HR person, is selling my company's brand.. and i should do it where my target market is.

Ok.. If you say that you are a HR professional who is not into recruitments, and hencec these online trends doesn't bother you. Think twice... Online employee engagement may not be a well heard term as of now, but pretty soon it would be. In today's time, we talk about work life balance. We know that if a person is not leading a happy personal life, he would not be able to contribute to professional life. We also talk about engaging not just employees but also families.

All these and other initiatives can be supported with facebook or twitter. For any HR intervention to be successful, there needs to be buy in of the employees. Fortunately facebook and twitter are tools, which already have buyin of employees.. We just need to go online, and start engaging these guys.. Share latest happenings of your company.. Share birthday wishes.. Celebrate family occassions online.. I am sure, it would not only make your employee feel proud when on his facebook wall, he has birthday wishes from his company. But it would also help company creating better brand. Its improving your EVP(employee value proposition). Its creating your employer brand.

Ok ... so here is a mean tip... for all those mean HR guys.. Its also easy to keep a tab on the happenings of employees' life outside office... (dont take it too seriously..if your employees get to know of your mean intentions... your initiatives would back fire).

You can also read the article published in Economic Times today which talks about the hiring trends through facebook and twitter.

http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/news-by-industry/jobs/facebook-twitter-are-new-hiring-hotspots/articleshow/8382598.cms

That's what we need to learn in today's world. In today's competitive world, its not just the classroom teaching which would help us in achieving our dreams and goals. Its something extra, and that extra is provided by the life skills training.

Life skills, can be a very subjective topic. It can be pretty vague, with everyone defining it as per his or her own convenience. To avoid such ambiguity, we can refer to skills defined by UNICEF as life skills.

Relevance of life skills training is for all sections of society and for all age groups. Special emphasize is being given on life skills training of students, starting from school till the higher or professional education level.

Life Skills are also been seen as "Employability Skills". And the education sector as well as industry has realized the importance of life skills or employability skills for their employees.

I believe, in coming recent years, life skills or employability skills is one sector, which is of great importance to all of us, and thats why I am trying to contribute in this field.... lets explore life skills together... lets learn to live well...

Here’s how to avert professional disasters. Whether you've snagged your first job or shifted to a new one recently, you need to follow work etiquette. For, a wrong word or a shoddy presentation may be akin to committing a career hara-kiri. Here are the habits and attitudes that are a strict no-no.

1 I don’t need to be punctual: Timing is essential. You're a professional now and a 'sorry, my brother spilt milk over my homework' excuse isn't going to work. Your assignment should be finished before the deadline, with enough time to spare, so that you can polish it. Unlike college, a 'C' grade-even once-does matter. If you disappoint your seniors, getting another chance is tough. If your office doesn't run on a 9-to-5 schedule, ensure that you have a fixed time for coming in and leaving, so you can be available during those hours.

2 I want everything, now: Instant gratification may be your buzzword, but it's not going to work at office. You cannot accumulate five years worth of experience in one year, nor can you get the hefty salaries your senior colleagues do. You will only get what your employers believe you're worth. "In the initial stages, don't mix career and money. Your priority should be the job profile based on your capabilities, which will help you hone your skills and grow. Once you're established, the money will come," says Nidhi Gaur, head, HR, Wiley India. Just putting in your best may not be enough. Your efforts will also have to be fruitful. "If you expect more compensation, the worth of the individual should increase along with the cost," says Sunil Goel, CEO, GlobalHunt, an HR firm.

3 This is all I’m going to do: If you stick rigidly to your job description, you may miss out on opportunities to be noticed. Take up tasks beyond the routine ones, especially those that can demonstrate your untapped talents. This also proves that you're willing to take initiative. If you are new, you may get saddled with jobs that others don't want or hours nobody else is willing to put in. If you grumble at being given extra work, it may put off your superiors.

4 I’m the only one who made it a success: No man is an island, especially not in crowded cubicles. In an office, you need to work as a team. If you do well, give credit where it's due, especially to your juniors. Even if you don't get along with someone, be polite. There's no place for anger or tantrums at the workplace. Remember, your electronic mails are being sent through your employer's server, so badmouthing someone on mail or chats in the office could lead to an embarrassing fiasco.

5 What’s a network? Even a genius could hit a roadblock. This is when your network of peers will come to your rescue as you can take their advice. It also helps you stay abreast of the latest issues in your field. Keep in touch with college mates, mingle during conferences and functions, and join a professional networking site.

6 I know everything there is to know: No job is secure forever. The business landscape is changing constantly and if you don't want to be a dinosaur, you'll have to upgrade your skills regularly. You need to stay on a par with colleagues and others vying for your job. Don't expect past accomplishments to suffice. Learn constantly, especially from your mistakes. If a senior corrects you, don't sulk or complain. You'll not only exasperate your boss, but end up repeating your mistake.

7 I’m irreplaceable, I deserve that promotion: If you believe you are the only one who can do the job right, back your conviction with accomplishments. Before you jump at the chance to be promoted, ask yourself: am I prepared for it? A promotion not only means more professional responsibilities, but also changes in personal life. Make sure you are ready to shoulder these. If you aren't, the step may backfire and destroy chances of future promotions. Don't promise to get something done without ensuring that it is achievable.

News Article in Times of India, on 11th April 2011 by Namrata Dadwal

When I started my school, my sports teacher wants me to be like Sachin and excel in cricket. When I joined college, I was always given examples of my other school friends who have joined better institutes. Even now, I am always been told about the success stories of my family members who are outside India.

But I am a Success… in my own eyes. And I know I am living my life… ok.. Trying to live my life. But I am sure not just spending time on earth and wasting the wonderful years. I am learning from each moment and growing my horizons.

The below article in today’s Times of India encourage individualism, being Unique. That’s what I have been celebrating since long.. being unique, being ME…… and believe me it’s great feeling to be “ME”.

If you pause for a moment to consider that there never has been nor will there ever be anyone else exactly like you, you will know why being yourself is more important than anything else; and you will be able to sidestep the very commonly prevalent fear or pressure that traps us into blind conformity.

The opposite of courage in our society, psychologist Rollo May said, is not cowardice; it is conformity.

Being inspired by someone and learning from their example is wonderful; but if we were supposed to be exactly like that someone, we would have been created with all of her personal qualities, also circumstances, potential, limitations too. Instead, each of us is born into a specific time and place, with a unique combination of a certain set of talents, and the potential to add or enhance all that, in order to fulfil our individual mission in life.

We have all been taught to measure ourselves against the example of other, greater, more successful beings. We are inspired by them and want to follow their example…but we can become so obsessed with the need to live like someone else, look, teach, grow successful and become rich like someone else, that before we know it, we cease to be ourselves.

In the film The Legend of Bagger Vance, Bagger Vance volunteers to be caddy for the has-been, written-off golfer Junuh in an important tournament. At a pivotal point in the movie, he tells the indifferent player, "Inside each and every one of us is our one true authentic swing. Something we were born with. Something that's ours and ours alone. Something that can't be learned. Something that's got to be remembered." It suggests finding our authentic self, our special place in the world, our special way of doing things, our special things to do, that absolutely no one else can.

Once, an old Hassidic story goes, the great teacher Zusia came to his followers, his eyes were red with tears, and his face was pale with fear.

"Zusia, what's the matter? You look frightened!" "The other day, i had a vision. In it, i learned of the question that the angels will ask me when i stand at the Gates of Heaven."

The followers were puzzled. "Zusia, you are pious. You are scholarly and humble. You have helped so many of us. What question about your life could be so terrifying that you would be frightened to answer it?" Zusia turned his gaze to heaven. "I have learned that the angels will not ask me, 'Why weren't you a Moses, leading your people out of slavery?'" His followers persisted. "So, what will they ask you?" "And i have learned," Zusia sighed, "that the angels will not ask me, 'Why weren't you a Joshua, leading your people into the Promised Land?'" His worried followers demanded, "But what will they ask you?" "They will say to me, 'Zusia, there was only one thing that no power of heaven or earth could have prevented you from becoming.' They will say, 'Zusia, why weren't you Zusia?'"

Of course you should be inspired by the examples of others and let their lives motivate you to reach your fullest potential; but ultimately you must become the best [place your own name here] possible. Or, as Oscar Wilde quipped: Be yourself; everyone else is already taken.

Source: Times Of India , Dated 3rd March 2011

The workshop was attended by more than 75 MBA students. The workshop started by asking all participants to sing a song from movie Rangeela, which helped not only in involving all participants but also helped in creating the impression that the concept like self awareness is not something very difficult or alien to day to day life. Importance of self awareness has been discussed so many times, at various occasions, even in the movie songs.

“ME THE STAR”, activity encouraged participants to think about their strengths and the reasons why they feel it as strengths. It also asked participants to reflect on various positive situations of their life and the various achievements. This helped all participants in affirming their individual positive image. Importance of Self esteem and positive thinking was also discussed in the workshop.

Various ways to build self awareness was discussed. “Challenge Rancho” was another activity to help participants in goal formation. I must appreciate COO, YV Verma for the employee friendly policies of LG.

This bonus includes the following

Two half-yearly performance incentives,

Diwali bonus,

Post-Diwali bonus,

LG Birthday Bonus and

Retention Bonus

Believing in the motto, "life's good", LG paid bonus even during recession when other companies did not pay. I am sure, this small act of paying bonus irrespective of the market growth won loyalty of employees, which is not so easy to earn. I would definitely say, Happy employees make happy companies. And LG cares about happiness of its employees.

In india, the monetary rewards still score much more than non monetary rewards. Any day, employees would love to get hard cash instead of a fully paid trip to Malaysia or Thailand. Traditional indian values of saving money, is still not forgotten by all. And even employees who love to spend, gets satisfaction by spending money themselves, rather than just getting something for free.

One more good thing about LG is not only appreciating the results but also the risk taking abilities of the employees, and taking up challenging initiatives.

Source:
http://economictimes.indiatimes.com/news/news-by-industry/jobs/bonus-lg-electronics-gives-200-and-700-of-basic-salaries-to-employees/articleshow/7400473.cms

He has been introduced to Italian food, football and snow.

While Nair said his experience in Johnsburg has been positive, the hardest adjustment has been to the weather.

“I was lucky that I came here. This community at Johnsburg has been very good.
They are my family now. When I leave, I will miss them,” said Nair.

Nair will be here till January 28, after which will return to India.

“It’s been great getting to know him as a person,” Kevin Connor, a senior taking the course in Indian culture, said of Nair.

“Getting to learn the Indian culture and food has been amazing,” he added. This story is told the Tainos, the indigenous people of Puerto Rico Island to their children showing them the way to good life.

I am mentioning here the three lessons of good life, being highlighted in this story.

1. Your size doesn't matter, your voice and words are more important. Means, it doesn't matter whether you are rich or poor, you are having special powers or not, what matters is that people should respect your words, and you should speak good. Good speech is always appreciated by everyone.

2. Teamwork always wins. Teamwork can defeat an opponent of any size.

3. Whatever said and done, fairplay should be the rule defining your life. You should not do anything which is against your own personal ethics and values. You should lead a life which is an example to others, and you should follow the rules, which can be all or any combination of natural laws, universal laws & your own values.

The story goes like this......

The animals had taken to easy life and were all becoming fat. This became a cause for concern because they could not move about at all. Life came to a standstill. Queen Iguaca, the parrot that ruled the forest with care, was worried. No progress was made because of the sheer laziness of her jungle mates. And so, the Tainos would tell their children, never be lazy. It will take you nowhere.

Queen Iguaca wondered whom to consult. She spoke with the agile and evermoving wind who looked in amazement at the bloated condition of the animals, some of which were special to Puerto Rico: the lizard was so huge that it could no longer climb trees, a species of snake was so fat that it barely slithered, the giant toad that was as big as a bull, and a bull that was worried to see a toad catching up and so ate more – and the coqui. The coqui is a small frog which is different from others of its species, not only because of its very small size but also because it does not have webbed feet.

The queen announced a race with an attractive award for the winner, to motivate the animals to exercise and return to shape. The animals were excited. Each dreamt of getting the award. The coqui, however, was small anyway and it found it had no chance of winning against the other larger animals. But the coqui needed a voice desperately. To be small-sized and without a voice is a curse… another lesson to be remembered, said the grandparent Taino. They had to overcome it.

The community of coquis decided to work together, for they felt that it was only in teamwork that success be achieved. A senior coqui suggested a plan of action. So good was the plan that they won! But there was a problem – that other contestants pointed out. It was not entirely fair play. As in a relay race, the coquis had positioned themselves at different points so that each time one of the bigger animals shoved them out of the race, another stepped in. That’s how they had won.

The queen considered the case and announced the verdict. The coquis were the winners because they had worked together as a team, strategised and won. And so they would be given a voice. But since there was an element of unfair play, they would get their voice only after sunset and till sunrise.

Even today the coquis sing every night in Puerto Rico. They jump up on to the branches of trees at dusk and call: “Co-kee, co-kee” and that’s how they got their name. They make such a loud but very musical noise that one would think an amplifier had been attached to their voice box. The coquis begin singing with the onset of dusk through the night till the first rays of the sun fall on the land. They remind everyone that team spirit is great but anything done unfairly never sees the light of day.

Today when the Tainos have been long gone and the Puerto Ricans have experienced different cultures with the coming of the Spanish, Africans, Chinese and Americans, the coqui, symbol of the island, still sings for them every night, with the same message: Be one and be fair.

Such an incident happened today morning.

I am sure, you all have seen one for sorrow, many times... Whenever i see one, i try to avoid looking at its direction, as if even the sight of the bird would bring some bad luck. Can not help my superstition. But today morning, when i saw one for sorrow, i turned back and to look at it again...

And you believe me, i saw one more bird, which was behind the first one, and hence my one for sorrow turned into two for joy. If i would not have turned back to have a relook at one for sorrow, and thought of avoiding it, i would miss the chance to see two for joy.

It immediately strikes me, how we try to avoid sufferings, and bad luck in life. But if we are strong enough, and we face the problem headon, then we have the power to change any adversity of liife in a positive experience.

Its only when we are scared to face the situation, the situation haunts us. Hence we should never let the situation rule us. I am not sure, who has written this. But this is really inspiring.

One day I decided to quit...I quit my job, my relationship, my spirituality... I wanted to quit my life. I went to the woods to have one last talk with GOD.

"GOD", I said. "Can you give me one good reason not to quit?" His answer surprised me...

"Look around", GOD said. "Do you see the fern and the bamboo?"

"Yes", I replied.

"When I planted the fern and the bamboo seeds, I took very good care of them. I gave them light. I gave them water. The fern quickly grew from the earth. Its brilliant green covered the floor. Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo.

In the second year the Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful. And again, nothing came from the bamboo seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo." GOD said.

"In year three there was still nothing from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit. "

"In year four, again, there was nothing from the bamboo see. I would not quit." GOD said.

"Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern it was seemingly small and insignificant...But just 6 months later the bamboo rose to over 100 feet tall. It had spent the five years growing roots. Those roots made it strong and gave it what it needed to survive. I would not give any of my creations a challenge it could not handle." GOD said to me.

"Did you know, that all this time you have been struggling, you have actually been growing roots?"

"I would not quit on the bamboo. I will never quit on you." "Don't compare yourself to others." GOD said.

"The bamboo had a different purpose than the fern. Yet they both make the forest beautiful."

"Your time will come", GOD said to me. "You will rise high" "How high should I rise?" I asked.

"How high will the bamboo rise?" GOD asked in return.

"As high as it can?" I questioned

"Yes." GOD said, "Give me glory by rising as high as you can." I left the forest and bring back this story. I hope these words can help you see that GOD will never give up on you.

GOD will never give up on you

"Life is not a problem to be solved, but a gift to be enjoyed" Keep Smiling

Creativity happens in this space. Carnatic music composer Thyagaraja discovered a new raga by listening to a bee. A monk observing a snake and a crane fighting discovered the martial art, Tai Chi.

There’s a technique called the golden egg technique: Imagine that there is an egg and in it there exists gold. The gold is hidden inside the egg. Treat every problem you encounter as one such egg. Imagine that there is a golden opportunity hidden inside every problem. Whenever you are faced with a problem, don’t lose hope. Instead of getting disheartened, try to understand that it is only an egg with precious gold tucked away deep inside. Delve deep into the problem and recognise golden opportunity. This attitude will invoke creativity in you.

There are many more ways of dealing positively with problems. Try this. When you come face to face with a problem, think of at least 20 ways of dealing with it. Play a game. Write down all the possible solutions. OK, now that you’ve written down 20 options, choose five out of the 20 and begin working on them. With those five kinds of solutions, find 20 ways of fulfilling them. Ask your friends to give ideas. The mother of creativity is the attempt to generate ideas. Play with it.
All these methods can be applied provided you remember not to view a problem as a pain. If you do so, then your hurt body will increase and you will pass on your pain to your children. Are you distressed that your son is lazy? Apply the golden egg technique. In the problem of your lazy son, there is gold hidden... an opportunity hidden. Treat it as a great opportunity to study the reason as to why he is lazy. Be an anthropologist and study the causes of his laziness. By doing this you are in a proactive state and this state of your being will motivate your son.
Next, apply the second method. See 20 ways to make your son active. Take help from friends, as this will help in expanding your ideas. Creativity opens up when there are ideas. Include your son in the game plan and make him your teammate. You will observe the inspiring energy that you create and as a result your family will have a meaningful goal.

Use transformational vocabulary. Use empowering language. There are no winners in an argument. Hence use words wisely. When someone expresses something, try and understand their point of view instead of branding and labelling them as something or other. The moment you brand them, you will see only the labels. As a result you miss seeing the person.

Stop treating differences as conflicts. View them as points of view. Learn to appreciate variety. Appreciate differences rather than viewing them as pain. The moment you relate to differences as pain, you will experience them as pain. View differences as creative versions and you will feel positive energy flow through you.

source : Times Of India - 15th June 2010. The hiring is to meet the demand,” said Sengupta.

Meanwhile, looking at the crunch of people to manage customer experience management across sectors Aegis is looking to training and recruiting people.

It has set up Institute of Customer Experience Management (ICEM) to train students specifically for the service industry (retail, banking, financial services and insurance, ITeS) focusing on the customer experience and customer lifetime value. The first batch of 400 people will start from August this year in Coimbatore.

“This might be the first of its kind initiative towards improving the entire process of customer experience. Whenever we spoke to clients, be it of our parent group company or others, they have always said it is needed. So we would now set up more such campuses across India as well as outside. We would like to set up another five ICEM campuses in the next three years,” said Subir Ghosh, president - Aegis Global Academy, the division that runs ICEM.

While Aegis has tied up with other firms for placement of all 400 students in various companies, the firm itself would absorb about 100 from every batch of ICEM.

The firm has tied up with IIM-Indore and SQC Singapore to design specific course materials for ICEM.

“I believe this is practical and fruitful strategy by firms to meet the gap between service requirement and actual execution. Going forward, I see this will be a trend being taken up by firms of other sectors, too,” said Prof Ravichandran, dean IIM - Indore.

On May 19, the firm purchased education finance service provider Sallie Mae’s customer service centre in Texas, US.

Under that deal, about 350 of Sallie Mae employees will join Aegis whose headcount stands a little over 40,000.

Source : http://www.dnaindia.com/money/report_aegis-plans-to-hire-11000_1389176

But sometimes, we ourself become so much creative that the we forget the distinction between creative and riotously hilarious . Here is one example of an applicant who tried being witty and end up being buffoon. Please find below the CV which he has sent as an attachment. Its ok if he is applying for ad agency or so, but sending such CV to an IT company is like a crime.

Also i really have to share his application letter. Its height of over confidence and informality.

Hi,
:))

I understand that you are in recruiting, if you or your clients are interested in filling an HR, L&D or any interesting vacancy then you can help me.

I have +9 years of international experience across the HR and L&D function. I have managed cross-functional L&D and HR operations and delivered complex projects with aggressive time lines and large teams. While being well versed with all functions in L&D I have an excellent understanding of effective IT enabled HR & L&D projects and New-Employee life cycle. Besides I am open for anything bigger & better immaterial of the function.

I really wanted to write this reply to him, but just didn't...

Thanks for your interest in our company. Your profile was really interesting, but unfortunately our company focus more on work rather than buzz. Wdont believe in inventions, but evolutions.
