This week two events hosted by &lt;a href="http://novascotialife.com"&gt;Nova Scotia Come to Life&lt;/a&gt; completed the Ontario leg of the &lt;a href="http://universitycapital.ca"&gt;Canada’s University Capital&lt;/a&gt; campaign tour. The initiative, initially launched in Halifax, aims to market Nova Scotia as &amp;quot;Canada's University Capital&amp;quot; to prospective students and their parents. Both functions attracted enthusiastic crowds and featured celebrity guest speakers

 <title>The NB Power Saga: Pink(o) Tories and Deep Blue Liberals</title>

When Liberal MLAs, including a cabinet minister, came out publicly that they would not vote for deal to sell NB Power to Hydro Quebec, miraculously, two days later, a new deal was presented that had 100 per cent caucus approval. Reception to the revised memorandum of understanding (MOU) to sell the utility has been more positive than when the first MOU was announced in October.
