Tonight we're going to be talking about religion and politics - two things that affect most of us. The theme of the show for the evening is, "Who's name are these people talking in?" Episode 80: Obama Needs a Better Speech Writer

Episode 78: Memorial Day

Sorry for being SO late in posting this, folks (almost a week) but I have been trying (and trying and trying) to get the audio on this episode cleaned up. Needless to say, I have not been too successful. Ken and I have tried a number of different ways to clean up the audio for the podcast. Due to the nature of TalkShoe, the sound quality is going to be phone-line at best. On this episode Ken and I wanted to talk mainly about Memorial Day - what it is and what it isn't. I read "On Flander's Field" and shared snippets from letters that I have from a grandfather many great's back who fought with a Texas regiment in the Civil War.
