At Least One Hundred Percent

One of the running jokes I've been using during the primary season is the fact that, "Obama must be upset that is isn't winning at least 100% of the primaries this time around." It turns out that the numbers are very telling, not just with the recent results of the West Virginia primary where Obama won 59/41 against a Texas inmate. Understand, we know that Obama is going to win the nomination… I still find it funny that some sites list him as the "presumptive nominee."

Here are the votes or delegate percentages for the 2012 Democrat primary season. Overall, Obama has been running an average of 87% of the primary vote. Some states are much lower, though there are many that did not even have a primary and are not counting or do not allow "uncommitted" delegate counts.

Since news of the Democrat primary season seems to be extremely rare, I thought it would be worth-while to compile a list of the states that have already had some kind of delegate-placing action and include them here. I’ve got a whole Excel spreadsheet with the full breakdowns, but for this chart, all of the "non-Obama" names I've put them in the "Others" column. Some states allow for "No Preference," and those are in the Uncommitted column.

We did stick to our promise from last week to talk about the new proposals of the Health Care overhaul from the GOP, and it turns out that by some estimations it's not all honey and roses!

D: I don't listen to Randi myself...I find her too harsh. but I don't think your comparison holds water. Rush is on what, 6,000 stations and is in the news virtually every day. Randi is on what, 6? She might talk a lot of trash, but if it's under the radar, nobody will ever pay attention to it.

ECC: That's akin to saying nobody's going to listen to the pastor of a small church that says he's going to have a Qua'ran BBQ, right?
