PAUL, bakery shop, in Tokyo, not in Paris, and is located in the JR Shinagawa Station. They serve bread based menu and drinks, a coffee, light taste coffee, costs 346 Yen which is quite expensive now a day, however it is convenience location, in the station, if ti may say so that. This is current trend of a new commercial area.

Japanese Restaurant "Nikiya 二木屋", Kita-urawa

This is a Japanese restaurant located in an residential area in Urawa, Saitama, suburb of Tokyo. The building is a typical Japanese house and converted to restaurant. The building is registered as the historical Japanese heritage, but it looks a large house with gardens in this area.

They serve Kaiseki Cuisine 会席料理 (course menu) in different month, and lunch and dinner. The restaurant name is Nikiya 二木屋, and it is 8 minutes from JR Kitaurawa Station by foot.

Chuginn Capsule Tower Building by Kisyo Krokawa

Chugin Capsule Tower Building was demolished and one of the comportment of the building, a capsule, is presented at the Urawa-Kita Park, where MOMAS designed by Kisyo Kurokawa is located.

Oguiss's Exhibition at Nihonbashi Mitsukosi

Takanori Ogisu (Oguiss) exhibition 110 years anniversary of his birth was held at Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi. It was the last schedule of the exhibition for there places in Japan and closed on 16the of January 2012. Large number of his paintings, oil painting only, had been presented covers Paris and Venice. This was one of the best exhibition I ever attended.

There is an art museum near by my temporary house in Kita-urawa, Saitama, it is called MOMAS, Museum of Modern Arts Saitama. Now Henri Le Sidaner exhibition is on going till 5th of February 2012.

This museum was built in 1982 and designed by Kisyo Kurokawa, world famous Japanese architect.There is English page at the web site.

日本の美ー着物 Kimono; Japanese Arts

Kimono which is Japanese traditional cloth and is extremely beautiful fabric (silk) and exquisite work of dying with colourful design. This was presented at a department store at Takashimaya Shinjyuku. This department store's main business was selling kimono in the past now a day, it a part of their business.

Department store in Japan in general, the first floor is dominated by international brand shops, e.g. HERMES, CHANNEL, PRADA, etc. and Kimono shop has been put at upper floor currently. However it is presented such Japanese art at entrance of the first floor.

Samsonite's handle was broken

Perhaps it is rare case that Samsonite's handle was broken. I realized that the handle was broken was at CDG airport when I picked up the suitcase. I should claim this to Lufthansa but I was in a hurry so I postponed and forgot to claim. This level of damage could be compensated by airline company.

Ichimi and Tamago-toji Soba at Utachiyo-Sarashina, Waseda Tokyo. "Sarashina"
represents soba noodle and Utachiyo means forever song, while this soba noodle shop will be closed by the end of this year with 73 years history in Waseda.

This is one of typical Japanese noodle in winter and I love it very much this menu. They serve very tasty soba with hot soup covered by egg, and ichimi is red pepper gridded and for topping on soba.

Okazari is for new year decoration based on Japanese traditional religious activities. recently it is sold at supermarkets with plastic covered package. It is very strange selling way of Okazari and it is sold at shops on the streets.

A small portable stove for cooking with charcoal called Shichirin, described in 七輪, is used to grill Shiitake Mushroom and Pacific Saury. This was typical Japanese cooking way till decades ago, but still exists.

There is a Havanna at Ave.Senador long, Asuncion. This is a landmark for my walking and a nice cafe. They are selling sweets with Dolce de Leche, typical sweet paste made from milk in South America.

Arriving in Sao Paulo and Flight Information Board

It is just before the landing at Guarulhos International Airport, Sao Paulo, and trap was used for transfer passengers. There is flight information boards at the departure terminal but one issue is that the board shows only flight information of the location of the board, not entire flight information of the airport. For example, you arrive at terminal 1 and your connecting flight departs from terminal2. In this case, you can not see the departure flight information at terminal 1. You will see your connecting flight information in the board at terminal 2.

From Sao Paulo to Frankfurt

LH507 bounds for Frankfurt took off on schedule but the captain decided to return to Sap Paulo after one hour due to that a passenger got sickness. So that the flight was delay for 3 hours including refueling time.

Japanese menu lunch on the LH710. I guess that it is much improved compare to last my flight with Lufthansa. Indeed, it seems that it is same quality of foods served by Japanese airlines.

LH710 bounds for Narita flies over Beijing, Seoul and Nagoya, then approaches Narita. After the flight crossed Japanese Island, LH710 flies over near Mt.Fuji, picture shows Mt.Fuji on the left side of the flight.

In general, aircraft has no toilets with window, but A380-800 has a window as picture shown. I feel much better than without window.
