I started this blog many years ago when I was an enthusiastic blogger, however if you know me now, I am more of an intrepid YouTube Vlogger! My journey has taken a few dives into the internet world, one thing that hasn’t changed is that I am obsessive about my desire to share with the world the things I have discovered about how we teach and how we learn how to crochet. I have come a long way on this journey and recently it is becoming more exciting as I have a new tool to share, new ideas and I giving a talk at the Knitting and Stitching Show last year gave me a new platform to explore.

Hi everyone! welcome back to my Crochet blog. I have unfortunately neglected my blogging, but I am reaching out to those who may be interested in some exciting news that I have to share. So much has happened in recent months while I have been concentrating on keeping my YouTube Channel up to date. I have also been trying to learn more about the algorithms that help you to find me. If you are reading this then it really helps if you can comment. Let me know where you are from and what your crochet interests are. Let me now if you have heard of my new invention the Cordmaker tool which you can use to make Cordcrochet. Last year I was able to present a talk at the Knitting and Stitching Show in Harrogate which was a major achievement for me in getting Crochet Art out there. Let me know in the comments if you have found my videos and if you are finding them useful.

It is the 3rd January and I find myself with time to update my blog as I can only use my left hand due to a carpal tunnel operation.

Not a good predicament to be in for someone who loves to teach crochet!

However I will keep this short for now and pop back for more updates!

I have been sooooo busy writing my Crochet Art text books during the school holidays. Post covid I have been able to go back into the classroom and begin teaching crochet to both primary and secondary school children. It went so well! The children had so much fun learning in a hands on creative way. The Staff were keen for me to return for more school sessions and the parents loved how the kids were involved in making things. So much positive feedback online too has been an incentive for me to put the hours in.

I want to say a big thank you to Minera School in Wales for allowing me to work with you.

I have also been working on my own crochet…

I have been away from blogging for quite sometime, please do add a comment and I will reply ASAP
