If you’re just getting started in marketing your online services to offfline businesses then I would definitely recommend picking up this guide It will help you get up and going quick!

The thing is, if you’ve paid attention at all to what you’ve read on many internet marketing forums like The Warrior Forum, you already have the skills you need to put together the website they need. These local businesses are desperate to bring in new business, so if you put together something of quality for them, then you can pretty much name your price. Sweet huh?!

Squidoo makes it pretty easy to add text, graphics, polls, comments, and other interactive features to your lens. (Squidoo calls the page you add a “lens”.) The problem with all those features is that it’s hard to know where to start. You don’t want to go overboard adding stuff, because you really want people to just click on your affiliate link and purchase the product. You don’t really want them spending all day on your lens!

1. Write a 300-500 word article on a subject or problem.
2. At the end of the article recommend a product related to the subject, or that solves the problem that you wrote about.
3. Send the reader to the product sales page via your affiliate link.
4. Earn extra money!!

These guys have put together an exhaustive guide to putting together your own product. They tell you:

• how to create your product quickly
• how to identify what niche to create your product for
• ways to increase the value of your product
• how to targeted traffic to your product page

These guys should know how to do it. I have personally bought several of their products, and they are always of the highest quality. Both of these guys are speaking from experience, when they talk about product creation.

If you’re interested in going the product creation route, and I think you should be(!), then this guide is where you need to start. It will save you tons of time in research, and headaches later on!

First, you have to constantly be finding new customers. Once a person leaves your site, you have no way of offering them the product you’re promoting again. You have to constantly get new people to your site.

Second, you are at the mercy of the product owner. If they change their offer, remove their product, or change their commission structure, there is nothing you can do about it.

One way to get around the problems of being an affiliate marketer is to create your own products to sale. Of course, you don’t actually have to create them yourself, you could:

• hire a ghostwriter or programmer from a freelance site
• purchase master resale rights to a product and sale it as your own
• convert private label rights material into a stand a lone product

By selling your own product you can keep all the money, and you can promote backend offers to your customer list. You know they’re interested in buying, because they’ve already done so!

Creating, or having someone else create, your product can seem like a pretty daunting task. There are many people who have gone before you on this endeavor, so don’t feel like you have to go at it alone.
