intellectual intricacies of Pat Bertoletti's nicknames. Beautiful Brian
Seiken calls in to offer his analysis on the upcoming Krystal finals and
the politics behind the SpikeTV ChowDown. Later, Pat Bertoletti calls in to
discuss his meteoric rise in competitive eating and what his greatest
challenges are in the future.

In this installment of EatCast, sou-host Neil actually consumes food during the show. But it all starts to go sour as Kevin starts quoting the latest CE numbers to him. Neil almost tosses his cookies when he tries to imagine eating 21 pounds of grits. And speaking of tossing cookies, Beautiful Brian Seiken calls in to chat about Dale Boone getting tossed out of a cookie contest in New York. Later discussions include how Boone is similar to Britney Spears, what's up with the IFOCE contract complaints on EatFeats.com and the upcoming ramen noodle contest. Later in the show, ChipBurger Simpson calls in to chat about his eating career, what got him
started and what he plans to devour in the future.

The premiere episode of EatCast happens during one of the most exciting and controversial weeks in competitive eating. Joey "Jaws" Chestnut has snatched back the Mustard Yellow Belt from previous Nathan's champ Takeru Kobayashi. But the contest did not end cleanly.

Kevin and Neil discuss the impact of the latest Nathan's contest and Kobayashi's reversal of fortune that went without a disqualification. In the second segment, Beautiful Brian Seiken calls in with a report on what was happening at ground zero on Coney Island and a history of reversal controversy.
