<p>There are definitely easy ways to lose weight, but to do this without drugs or pills, and while remaining healthy and eating a healthy diet is adding more to the challenge of weight loss, but it is still possible. However, it may take more effort on your behalf, but unfortunately, that&#8217;s what weight loss takes, effort by you, the person wanting or needing to lose a few pounds. Trainers and dieticians can help and advise, as can doctors and physicians, but it is ultimately your choice what you eat or don&#8217;t eat, and how you spend your time.</p>
<p>So, easy ways to eat lose weight, how can this be achieved? One of the easiest ways I know of to lose those pounds is by food combining. There is a lot of research that shows that if we put a variety of different types of food in our stomachs at the same time, then the stomach has a harder time digesting and processing it. This makes sense, and the stomach also prefers smaller amounts because it can cope with these better that way too.</p>
<p>One of the biggest changes to the diet in this case is when you eat fruit, assuming that you do eat fruit which you should, of course because you know it is good for you. If you eat fruit with nothing else, nothing immediately before it, or after it for a couple of hours, then it gives your stomach longer to process it, and it does a much better job. I have tried this, and having been unable to eat much fruit because of indigestion problems, for years and years, I can now eat a big plate of fruit at lunchtime, and I have no stomach problems after wards. It is amazing to me, that this happens, and along with eating healthier there are a couple of other interesting things.</p>

<p>Before starting on food combining, and I only do this for a couple of meals each day, the third meal is more &#8220;normal&#8221;, I had stomach problems galore, and ended up on prescription medications to reduce acid reflux etc, etc. By changing just two meals a day, I no longer need these medications, I am eating way healthier, and the other bonus is that quite unintentionally I lost weight. This has been reported by plenty of others who combine their foods, and it is amazing how much weight they have lost, without trying, and without exercising! It seems that when you combine your foods in the appropriate way then your stomach is more efficient at digesting it, provides you with more energy, and it can make a big difference to your weight loss.</p>
<p>But you don&#8217;t have to take my word for it. You can do a little research yourself, or a lot, and, if you think it is for you, give it a try. You have nothing to lose but excess weight, and a lot to gain in terms of health and a good feeling at your achievements. This is one of the easy ways to lose weight without pills or drugs, but of course you should check with your doctor before and during your experiment with food combining.</p>

So, try to reduce the amount of sugar in your diet. This reduction will help your weight loss, as well as your general health.</p>
<p>Take a look at your salt intake as well. You are probably eating way too much sodium in your diet too, especially if you eat a lot of fast food, or prepackaged foods.</p>
<p>The next tip is to reduce the size of your servings, so that you eat a little less at each meal, as this will help you to lose weight in a week. If you reduce the serving size too much, you may have to add a few snacks into your diet, but in fact this can help you lose weight, as your stomach can process smaller amounts more efficiently, you will get less indigestion and will feel much better as a result. More smaller meals a day are recommended over one or two large meals, so give this a try too, and see if this is the best way for you to lose  weight in a week.</p>

<p>Presumably there is a reason that you want to lose weight in 2 weeks, and you&#8217;ll be pleased to know that there are some ways that you can achieve this, and in a healthy way. You don&#8217;t need to take any drugs or pills; in fact you can lose weight by eating better. There are plenty of diets out there, some with gimmicks, some eating mainly the same food over and over, like the cabbage soup diet, but we believe you should eat a healthy diet, eating all of the food groups with a variety of different foods each day, but with a few changes.</p>

<p>The first method we&#8217;ll talk about is the Zone diet, which has been around for years. The basis of this diet, is that at each meal you eat some carbohydrates, some protein and some fats, and that you try to keep the foods in a certain ratio. This is a healthy diet, as you are encouraged to eat fruits and vegetables, meat, cereals, everything you need for a balanced diet. However, the portion sizes may be different than you are used to. You will not eat a large 8 oz steak at one meal, but you are encouraged to eat about 3 ounces of lean meat for women, 4 ounces for men at one meal, with 1 ounce of protein at snack time. This is a huge reduction in protein for some people.</p>
<p>The focus for the Zone diet is on balanced healthy eating. Sugar and sugar products are not encouraged, fruits and vegetables are, and by eliminating all the sugar from your diet, you may just find that you are easily able to lose weight in two weeks.</p>
<p>Oatmeal is recommended &#8211; it&#8217;s good for soluble fibre &#8211; so a typical Zone breakfast may be a bowl of oatmeal, with blueberries, along with a glass of milk, and then a plate of about 3 ounces of ham, followed by a few almonds. This constitutes a healthy start to the day. A main meal may start with a salad, perhaps with a little cheese grated over it, followed by a small piece of chicken with vegetables. Dessert could be a piece of fruit, maybe with a piece of cheese.</p>
<p>As you can see, these meals are healthy, and the portion sizes are perhaps a little smaller than you are used to, but by maintaining a balanced diet, you will not feel hungry, and you will lose weight.</p>
<p>The other way for weight loss to occur in 2 weeks is by following something called food combining, and this is a great way to help your stomach if you have a lot of problems with acid reflux, or numerous other stomach complaints. This diet recommends that certain foods are eaten in combination with others, while other foods like fruits are always eaten by themselves.</p>
<p>Food combining may sound like an odd thing to do, but there is a lot of science behind it, as there is with the Zone diet, and again it is a healthy way to eat. Your stomach can handle the digestion of like foods much easier than if it has a whole mixture of different foods to process, and it is something which has reduced my acid reflux, so that I no longer need to take prescription antacids, or any antacids at all.</p>
<p>The good news is that I didn&#8217;t need to change my diet very much, I feel healthier, and I have lost weight. In fact the weight loss is a side effect of this way of eating, and a great side effect at that.</p>
<p>So, there are just a few things to think about in your quest to lose weight in 2 weeks. It can be done, and done while you maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle, and without drugs or pills of any kind, unless you doctor has put you on a prescription drug for some reason.</p>
<p>Of course you need to check with your medical doctor before trying any diet or exercise program, or any other method to lose weight in 2 weeks.</p>

<p>Eat a well balanced diet, with plenty of fruits and vegetables since the potassium in them can help to prevent or treat the retention of water. Fruit and vegetables are good for their fibre too of course, and can provide all the sweetness you need in your diet, rather than eating a lot of sugar products.</p>
<p>Try to exercise more, as by cycling, walking or running you can help your body to get rid of any excess water that it has.</p>
<p>If after trying these ways to lose water weight you are still retaining water, then you need to make sure to visit your doctor in case there is an underlying health issue that needs investigating.</p>
