Zac Posen is such a great handbag designer, one that I have always admired. Even though I’m not by any means a die-hard Zac Posen fan, one who lines up season-after-season collecting his latest bag collection. Thinking back, the last bag that I purchased from Zac Posen was way back around 2009 when his handbag line was higher-end and much more expensive. It was the Olivia Tote which I paid in the neighborhood of $2000. The bag was significantly pricier than his ZAC Zac Posen Line, which wasn’t available at that time. I am so glad that he has this contemporary price range handbag line now!

And don’t even get me started on the Target Zac Posen line – that was a bunch of blogger-hyped cheaply made crap. Don’t believe me? How many people do you see still carrying around their Target available Zac Posen, Missoni, Luella Bartley, Proenza Schouler, Phillip Lim, or even Jason Wu fashion items? Zero. Because you get what you pay for. Obviously, those fashion pieces sold for under $30 are no way comparable and not even manufactured in the same place as the designer’s main location. You don’t have to break the bank to get a fashionable handbag. Which brings me to the ZAC Zac Posen Eartha Iconic Soft Mini Top Handle Bag.

A mini petite-sized version of the classic Eartha bag. Don’t let the “mini” part through you off into thinking this bag is tiny. It may be on the petite side, however it was perfectly crafted to fit all the daily essentials.

It may just be me, but before today I didn’t realize Aerin Lauder did anything besides cosmetics and fragrances. I mean, yeah, she has her eponymous label (aside from Estee Lauder) but it is mostly beauty products. Apparently she does handbags and accessories as well. Who knew?! When I saw this particular handbag though, it was definitely love at first sight. I love the light gray color and cream flower embroidery. It’s all very simple and sweet. It’s only $150. Which sounds fantastic, but I’m a firm believer in “you get what you pay for,” and as someone who has never purchased a Lancaster Bag, I wonder how durable it is. And when I say durable, I’m talking test of time. It probably won’t last as long as a $2500 Dolce & Gabbana Bag, but should get at least a couple summers use. So if you have feedback on Lancaster Handbags I would love to hear it in the comment section!!

The Kate Spade Candace Satchel is pretty spot on when it comes everyday work style. It has all the features that one looks for in a work purse. First, you have the overly spacious size, which is ideal for anything and everything- laptops, papers, snacks, water bottle, umbrella, etc. The rain protecting top closure- something most people don’t think about until it’s too late. One thing that this bag has that the Chanel Cerf Bag does not, is the zip top closure. Brilliant! I live in Seattle, where it rains every so often, so this is definitely a nice feature to have. I love to use my Cerf Tote on most work-occasions because of the size, clean style, and simple structure. However, on rainy days it has to be left at home. Also, I would say this bag is a little bit more structured than the Chanel Cerf. Not my much, but it definitely has a more blocky look. All and all if you’re looking for a classic everyday bag but not wanting to spend $2k+, I would say this one has it all. It has that classic look that allows it to last more than a couple seasons (or even years!). Surely will last the test of time…

And on a personal taste note, I would drop the luggage tag. I don’t get it.
