Both ROS and RNS are highly reactive, unstable molecules that, in healthy cells, are created and neutralized as part of normal cell life. However, if the production of free radicals and ROS/RNS exceeds the body's natural defense mechanisms, oxidative damage to vital molecules in the body can occur and may lead to cell dysfunction and cell death.

The cellular antioxidant defense system of the body may be expanded by dietary supplementation of antioxidant vitamins and minerals under conditions of elevated oxidative stress. Supplementation may reduce oxidative stress, decrease short-term tissue damage and long-term health risks associated with oxidative stress.

If you want to overcome oxidative stress try to use products from Oxis International, Inc.. This company develops technologies and products to research, diagnose, treat and prevent diseases of oxidative stress/inflammation associated with damage from free radical and reactive oxygen species (ROS). The company holds the rights to several therapeutic classes of compounds in the area of oxidative stress, and has focused commercialization programs that include SOD (superoxide dismutase), MPO (myeloperoxidase), GPx (glutathione peroxidase), as well as a highly potent antioxidant, Ergothioneine, that may be sold over-the-counter (OTC) as a dietary supplement. They have a website with address http://www.oxis.com.

Oxis International Inc., headquartered in Portland, Oregon, is the leader in the area of diseases from oxidative stress. Oxis has been able to create this synthetically and it helps with anti aging, brain health, diseases and detoxification to name a few benefits. Other ingredients Oxis will be using are glutathione, lipid soluble antioxidant, superoxide dismutase and palosein.

Oxis International Inc. is a penny stocks and the perfect time to buy before they go public. For information and current updates you can find Oxis on Twitter and also Oxis on facebook.

A n00bs Starter Guide to Warez Files

A n00bs Starter Guide to Warez Files

1. What is a RAR file

RAR is the native format of WinRAR archiver. Like other archives, RAR files are data containers, they store one or several files in the compressed form. After you downloaded RAR file from Internet, you need to unpack its contents in order to use it.

2. How to handle RAR files

WinRAR provides the complete support for RAR files, so you may both create and unpack them. If you installed WinRAR on your computer and downloaded RAR file from Internet, you may double click on RAR file icon to open it in WinRAR, select all files, press "Extract To" button, enter a destination path and press "OK". Another way is to click on the RAR file in Explorer using the right mouse button. If you enabled "Shell integration" option when installing WinRAR, the file context menu will contain "Extract to ..." item.

Some RAR files can be parts of multi-volume sequences. In WinRAR you can split a huge archive to a few smaller files, which are called volumes. They may have extensions .rar (the first volume), .r00, .r01, ..., or .part1.rar (the first volume), .part2.rar, ..., etc. If you need to unpack volumes, place all them to the same folder and start extraction from the first volume.

3. What is a ZIP file

A file format that compresses data to a small fraction of its original size in bytes. This makes transfer across a network or the Internet much faster. A single ZIP file can contain many individual files that will be reconsituted after the data is uncompressed. The ZIP format is used by many file compression programs. In order to use a file that has been compressed into a ZIP file, you must have a compression/uncompression software program ie WINZIP OR WINRAR.

4. What is a FTP (File Transfer Protocol) Site

An FTP site is like a large filing cabinet. With a traditional filing cabinet, the person who does the filing has the option to label and organize the files how ever they see fit. They also decide which files to keep locked and which remain public. It is the same with an FTP site.

The virtual 'key' to get into an FTP site is the UserID and Password. If the creator of the FTP site is willing to give everyone access to the files, the UserID is 'anonymous' and the Password is your e-mail address (e.g. name@domain.com). If the FTP site is not public, there will be a unique UserID and Password for each person who is granted access.

When connecting to an FTP site that allows anonymous logins, you're frequently not prompted for a name and password. Hence, when downloading from the Internet, you most likely are using an anonymous FTP login and you don't even know it.

To make an FTP connection you can use a standard Web browser (Internet Explorer, Netscape, etc.) or a dedicated FTP software program(flashFXP), referred to as an FTP 'Client'.

5. What is a ISO

ISO files are actually images of complete CDs compiles as one whole image.ISO images can be loaded into several different CD recording software packages to create CDs ie.ALCOHOL 120% or NERO.

6. What is a BIN & CUE file

So you have downloaded two files, one with a .bin extension and one with a .cue extension. "What do I do with these?" you ask. There are a number of options.

BURN TO CD

You will need either NERO or ALCOHOL 120%.
To burn with NERO:
Start NERO, choose FILE, choose BURN IMAGE, locate the .cue file you have and double click it. A dialog box will come up, for anything other than music make sure you choose DISC-AT-ONCE (DAO). You can also turn off the simulation burn if you so choose.
Then burn away.
To burn with ALCOHOL 120%
Start ALCOHOL 120%,choose image burning wizard, locate the .cue file you have and double click it.

.CUE ERRORS
The most common error you will get with a .cue file is when it points to an incorrect path. This is easily fixed. Find the .bin file, copy the exact title including the .bin extension. Now find the .cue file, open the .cue file using notepad. It should look similar to this:

FILE "name of file.bin" BINARY
TRACK 01 MODE2/2352
INDEX 01 00:00:00
TRACK 02 MODE2/2352
INDEX 00 00:04:00
INDEX 01 00:06:00

Delete everything in the quotes, in this case we would
delete name of file.bin. Now place the title you copied
in between the quotes. Save the changes and close out.
Thats it, your .cue file should work now.
If your missing a .cue file you can make one easily using the tiny application found here:

Code:

http://www.dslreports.com/r0/download/373724~1e45059000cfc371c157f544cc5aef07/MakeCue.zip

OTHER WAYS TO USE .BIN & .CUE FILES

VCDGear:
This program will allow you to extract MPEG streams from CD images, convert VCD files to MPEG, correct MPEG errors, and more.

Daemon Tools:
This program creates a virtual drive on your PC which will allow you to "mount" the .cue file and use whatever is in the .bin file without having to burn it to a cd.

ISOBuster:
This program will allow you to "bust" open the .bin file and extract the files within the .bin

open the .bin file with vlc media player

Code:

http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

info provided by Full Mental Jacket.

7. What is a MP3 file

Moving Picture Experts Group Audio Layer 3 File. MP3 files are highly compressed audio tracks, and are very popular on the Internet.

8. What is a OGG VORBIS file

Ogg Vorbis is a new audio compression format. It is roughly comparable to other formats used to store and play digital music, such as MP3, VQF, AAC, and other digital audio formats. It is different from these other formats because it is completely free, open, and unpatented.

9. What is a MPEG file

MPEG-1(.mpg, .dat) is the predecessor to MPEG-2 used for DVDs. MPG files are a lower quality/bitrate format usually at half of the resolution of DVD VOB files. They encompass CD quality 2 channel audio, as opposed to the 5.1 channels found in some DVD VOB files. Quality depends on the encoder used, and can be quite good if done properly.

10. What is a AVI file

An AVI is a container format that will hold audio and video. Windows Media Player does support playback of AVI files, but in the past few years their have been many new codec's developed to compress the audio and the video that is inside the AVI file ie DivX, XviD, 3ivX.

11. What is a WMV file

WMV is a generic name of Microsoft's video encoding solutions and doesn't necessarily define the technology what it uses -- since version 7 (WMV7) Microsoft has used its own flavour of MPEG-4 video encoding technology (not very surprising, it's not compatible with other MPEG-4 technologies..)

12. What is a rmvb file

this is a file specifically made to be played with Realplayer, the files can be smaller than standard mpeg files

13. What is a MKV file

The Matroska Multimedia Container is an open standard free Container format, a file format that can hold an unlimited number of video, audio, picture or subtitle tracks inside a single file.
[1] It is intended to serve as a universal format for storing common multimedia content, like movies or TV shows. Matroska is similar in conception to other containers like AVI, MP4 or ASF, but is completely open source. Matroska file types are .MKV for video (and audio) and .MKA for audio-only files.

14a. What is x264

x264 is a free software library for encoding H.264/MPEG-4 AVC video streams.

14b. What is H.264

H.264 is a standard for video compression, and is equivalent to MPEG-4 Part 10, or MPEG-4 AVC (for Advanced Video Coding). As of 2008[update], it is the latest block-oriented motion-compensation-based codec standard developed by the ITU-T Video Coding Experts Group (VCEG) together with the ISO/IEC Moving Picture Experts Group (MPEG), and it was the product of a partnership effort known as the Joint Video Team (JVT). The ITU-T H.264 standard and the ISO/IEC MPEG-4 Part 10 standard (formally, ISO/IEC 14496-10) are jointly maintained so that they have identical technical content.

15. What does PDF stand for

Portable Document Format It is a file format created by Adobe Systems in 1993 for document exchange. PDF is used for representing two-dimensional documents in a manner independent of the application software, hardware, and operating system.[1]
Each PDF file encapsulates a complete description of a fixed-layout 2-D document (and, with Acrobat 3-D, embedded 3-D documents) that includes the text, fonts, images, and 2-D vector graphics which compose the documents.
Formerly a proprietary format, PDF was officially released as an open standard on July 1, 2008.
<img width='1' height='1' ImageGrabberII - A brilliant program!

Code:

http://rapidshare.com/files/93215361/IG2.rar

2. A free image hosting

-----------------------------------

1. Creating screenshots

To get started open up your movie in ImageGrabber (supports wmv aswell) and the movie will start playing. Click the red stop button and the movie is open and ready to go.

Click this button and the following dialog box will appear

Enter the number of screens shots you would like to take of the scene. A good number for a scene is probably about 10-15 and you can have a play around with this and the number of columns explained in the settings below to see what you like.

When you click OK it will go through the movie taking the screen shots and add them to the timeline across the bottom.

You can add individual selected screenshots by using the scrollbar to move to the picture you want and clicking this button to add the current image at the end of the timeline.

Once you have all the pics you want you can arrange the screenshots in the timeline.

* Right click a screenshot to delete it, delete all or change the text label.

* Left click a screenshot to drag it to where you want in the timeline.

ImageGrabber settings

Once you have all the screens you want, on the File menu click Save File and you will see the following default settings dialog box ...

Layout: Good idea to make the dimensions of each screen (Tile) a fraction of the original to avoid distortion.

Style: Details of the drop shadow around your screens and the background color for your image.

Info: You can include the time each sample was taken in the vid.

JPEG: You can adjust the quality down to reduce the file size say for a full movie with many screens.

Details: You can include the basic movie statistics in the image.

There are plenty of possible configurations, try playing around with different settings until you find a layout you like.

Click the save button and using the Default settings will produce an image with a layout similar to this ...

Once you have your image you may want to resize it or modify it in some way, use image viewing/editing tool.

Now you have your screenshots, the next step is hosting your cool new image.

2. The guesswork is taken out of figuring out which muscles show through to the surface and how muscles appear through clothing. This instructional manual even gives both the Latin and the common terms for particular body parts such as scapula/shoulder blade. Hart covers all aspects of extreme anatomy. The book opens by providing detailed diagrams of all of the various muscle groups, including chest, back, shoulder, arm, and leg muscles. Then he covers many of the various extreme comic book types including good guy, bad guy, insane guy, punk, genius, and brute for men; and the heroine, bad gal, trashy gal, seductress, fighter babe, and cyber chick for women. As an added bonus, this book closes with two invaluable sections to all aspiring comic book artists. One provides a roadmap of all the steps an artist must take if he or she is going to get started in the comic book business, and advice on how the comic book business works. The second section features interviews with people from two of the most significant companies in the world of comics, Marvel Comics and Dark Horse Comics.

Download Code:

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=O4CV70JG

Practical Chinese Qigong for Home Health Care

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_R4kHvzHdMTk/SLQcPZKc-wI/AAAAAAAAGOo/530qlByoVpI/s200/Practical+Chinese+Qigong+for+Home+Health+Care.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5238843317317073666" />Practical Chinese Qigong for Home Health Care

Many people are gradually beginning to recognize Qigong as a unique way to stay in good health, drive away diseases and maintain longevity. Ferris, Olvi L. Mangasarian and Stephen J. Wright
Paperback: 280 pages
Publisher: Society for Industrial Mathematics; 1 edition (January 31, 2008)
Language: English
ISBN-10: 0898716438
ISBN-13: 978-0898716436
Format: pdf

Details:
This textbook provides a self-contained introduction to linear programming using MATLAB® software to elucidate the development of algorithms and theory. Early chapters cover linear algebra basics, the simplex method, duality, the solving of large linear problems, sensitivity analysis, and parametric linear programming. In later chapters, the authors discuss quadratic programming, linear complementarity, interior-point methods, and selected applications of linear programming to approximation and classification problems. Exercises are interwoven with the theory presented in each chapter, and two appendices provide additional information on linear algebra, convexity, nonlinear functions, and on available MATLAB commands, respectively. Readers can access MATLAB codes and associated mex files at a Web site maintained by the authors. Only a basic knowledge of linear algebra and calculus is required to understand this textbook, which is geared toward junior and senior-level undergraduate students, first-year graduate students, and researchers unfamiliar with linear programming.

Download Code:

http://rapidshare.com/files/139255854/Linear.Progrg.with.M.A.T.L.A.B-
virTuAlZin.rar

Adult Halloween Costume

<img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_R4kHvzHdMTk/SLQKaFCzYgI/AAAAAAAAGOI/i41WiTSaLcA/s200/halloweenadult.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5238823709685539330" /><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_R4kHvzHdMTk/SLQKaVICo_I/AAAAAAAAGOQ/Pad-FmDgaZU/s200/halloweensexy.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5238823714002478066" /><img style="float:left; margin:0 10px 10px 0;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_R4kHvzHdMTk/SLQKar25iMI/AAAAAAAAGOY/VS0S_xrCRzc/s200/halloweenrenaissance.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5238823720104593602" />I know it is always much more interesting to go with your friends to the Halloween party, and off course you will need some ideas for a group Halloween costume. If you are not in a creative mood, you can always choose not to be creative and just go for the usual group costume. If you need some help with that as well, here are some suggestions. Dress up as an Egyptian Assembly costumes there are a little more expensive but they are worth every penny for the whole group. There are so many characters that you can choose upon. So don't fight over Cleopatra suit, when you can chose to be a Belly Dancer, beautiful and provocative as well. You can always Go Greek if you are not into the Egyptian idea. I heard wearing togas can be a lot of fun. Bring out your wild side and dress up as Pre-Historic Cave people. You can all find your matching costume, and some props are included as well, and a not to the men, don't go hitting women on the head with your club, we don't do that any more.

If this is too barbaric for you, then try out the Wizard of Oz costumes and reconnect with your childhood. But all time favorite have to be the Flintstones as this is probably the coolest group Halloween costume idea. If you dare not to go as adult cave men, then try this more civilized version. For all those who do not want to devote that much time and money in picking up the perfect costumes, there are loads of ideas to choose from. Mummies are always an interesting choice, just rap yourself in some white sheets and toilet paper and you're done. Than you can find some T-shirts with black and white stripes, chain yourself to your crew and that's it. For those who would like some funny costumes, try out just dressing as normal people and make a big sign saying "Nudists on strike". Now that's being creative and funny at the same time. Than if nothing of this works for you, try the most common one's, like witches, pirates, Adams Family, you can never go wrong with these group Halloween costume ideas.

If you are not sure where to get your Group Halloween Costume this year, www.costumecauldron.com has plenty of them at affordable prices. As creative designers, architects are interested in how other architects, particularly successful ones, think through the use of drawings to approach their work. Historically designers have sought inspiration for their own work through an insight into the minds and workings of people they often regard as geniuses. This collection of sketches aims to provide this insight. Here for the first time, a wide range of world famous architects' sketches from the Renaissance to the present day can be seen in a single volume. The sketches have been selected to represent the concepts or philosophies of the key movements in architecture in order to develop an overall picture of the role of the sketch in the development of architecture. The book illustrates the work of designers as diverse as Andrea Palladio, Erich Mendelsohn, Sir Edwin Lutyens, Gianlorenzo Bernini, Le Corbusier, Michelangelo, Alvar Aalto, Sir John Soane, Francesco Borromini, Walter Gropius, and contemporary architects Tadao Ando, Zaha Hadid and Frank Gehry to name but a few. Each chronologically placed sketch is accompanied by text providing details about the architects life, a look at the sketch in context, and the connection to specific buildings where appropriate. Style, media and meaning are also discussed, developing an explanation of the architects thinking and intentions.

As creative designers themselves, architects are interested in how other architects, particularly successful ones, think and draw and approach their work.
