Ribbons for Gallifrey One

I’m a ribbon dealer, I guess. Since ribbons are crack. Or a ribbon pimp. I’m not sure, just yet.

Anyway, I have the following ribbons:

Chameleon Circuit Stuck on Ribbon – I haven’t decided how to distribute this one yet.
Drinking Buddies of Rassilon – Members of the Facebook Group get a ribbon, and anyone else of the alcoholic inclined.
UNIT Recruit – Find me cosplaying new era UNIT soldier, take a picture with me, get the ribbon.
500 Miles of Rassilon – Participate in the 500 Miles of Rassilon video at Gallifrey in any capacity and get one of a limited edition 1500 ribbons.
The Late Knights – These belong to Tadao; you’ll have to find him.
I want to be Mr. Pond – These belong to my friend Katie; you’ll have to find her.
Rory Ops Minion – These belong to Vee; you’ll have to both know the reference (not Who related) and find her.
Choir of Anghelides – Find me and tell me why Peter Anghelides is at Gallifrey One (it’s related to Tony Lee).
I found UNIT! – I’m hard to find. If you need to talk to me for some reason, and are specifically looking for me, you’ll get this ribbon.
Psychic Paper – I haven’t decided on this one either.

Gallifrey One Convention Operations

WHAT WE DO

We are the problem solving arm of the convention. To do this, we assist the committee with things such as crowd control and the members with such things as the locations of places and events. There is a system to all of this – it isn’t just random, nor are you as individuals expected to be the font of all knowledge or to exercise power over others.

· First rule of thumb

o We are always polite, even if the other person is incredibly rude or even aggressive.

· Second rule of thumb

o We are approachable and never tied up with anything other than the job when we are on shift.

WHAT YOU NEED

A sense of humor. Lots of patience.
Sensible, comfortable shoes. You are likely to be standing for long periods. Don’t piss your feet off!
Sensible clothes that cover you well enough that those you are dealing with aren’t focusing on the areas of skin being shown and can actually listen to you properly.
If you are Cosplaying, either a jacket for over the costume or a change of top or something to make it less likely you will be stopped for photos.

Jones vs. Rua – Bitch, Please

While watching the Jones vs. Rua fight some time ago, the backhand that Jones fired off on Rua while mounted on his body made me think of a pimp slappin’ his hoe. So, these came from that. This isn’t my Photoshop class. I’m not going to spend the next couple of minutes tweaking the pimp hat for correct color, adding correct shadows on a low-res image on Jones, or correcting other stuff. This was just funny.

Comic is going up soon, as I’ll be at Anime Los Angeles for the weekend.
