Beastie Boys doing a nice tribute clip to Floyd’s masterpiece Live at Pompeii.
Check out the same style of directing and filming the band playing the song, the sound equipment (those huge sound boxes) and the organ in the end.
I’ve always fancied some BB songs but I think now it’s time I’ve sticked my nose deeper into their music.

A ride on a Camel.. a flying Camel, that would best describe the journey on which this band will take you.

Camel – Never Let Go

How great are the individuals performances in this song? and how well they blend together. That drummer sure is a fast for that time but it only plays his part with no show-off. What I love the most about this song is the keyboard solo in the middle by Bardens, and of course Latimers guitar’s sound.. as always. Charming, simply beautiful!

My favourite Camel albums: Camel 1973, Mirage 1974, The Snow Goose 1975, Rajaz 1999.

Jimi Hendrix. Little Wing. This song gives shives all over my body. And Jimi? Plays it so simple and natural. I wonder sometimes.. how can people not be ‘touched’ by this music?

After about 30 years, Cactus give a hell of a performance at the B.B.King’s Blues Club in Times Square, NY. Although not in the original line-up, they showed that they can still play the rock’n'roll. Original singer’s part, Rusty Day, was filled in by Jimmy Kunes. More Cactus info via wiki.
