The time has finally arrived for Ecodale to start blogging and getting back into the game. After our trip, there was a lot of things that needed to be thought over. We needed to rethink the strategy of our lives and the ideas and choices we make; as well as how we make them. Please know that in the coming posts, Ecodale is going to move towards new topics that will help to support our life decisions and the choices we make in building our green shipping container home.

We will certainly always be shooting for the build of the Ecodale container as the staple of this blog. However, on the lighter side, we need to get back to discussing the issues that are relevant to Reduce, Reuse, & Recycle. How can we use less, while living more? If you are here, and you find these topics relevant, please chime in and comment. Discussion & involvement is what we are really looking for at this time.

Next topic for the blog post? - Hybrid cars and Gas mileage. Here is a photo of my new (USED 2006) hybrid that got 89.5 miles per gallon on the way back from Dallas, TX to San Antonio, TX this week. I will fill you in on all the details in another post. Now, just think about if you were getting nearly 90 MPG on the highway???

I was surfing today before heading to Florida for Xmas, and I found this article that had such fine beauty in the building itself. Maybe not yellow for the house... bicycle, ok. But my house will probably not be yellow.

I was just surfing around on Jetson Green and it was nice to see an idea similar to the shelters that we stayed in during our hike on the Appalachian Trail. You can see all those videos on the HikeBikeDale blog. But I really like the sail for the sunshade. That means you can change it if you would like, or take it down.
