<p>An inter-faculty debate was organized by the Green Business Awards Project, EnActUs McGill and the David Suzuki Foundation. Listen to Part 2 of the debate when the participants respond to the question:</p>

<p>Of those responding you will hear Caroline Begg, a researcher in plate science at McGill University. The other debater present was Holly Dressel, co-author of many books with David Suzuki and and adjunct professor at the McGill Environment School finally the last voice present is Jonathan Glen Cross, a McGill Alumni who founded the <a href="http://www.mcgill.ca/sustainability/">Office of Sustainability</a> at McGill University. </p>
<p>Finally, we finish the show off with a live in-studio interview with David Summerhays, a representative from the ongoing <a href="https://divestmcgill.wordpress.com/">Divest McGill Campaign. </a></p>

<p>An inter-faculty debate was organized by the Green Business Awards Project, EnActUs McGill and the David Suzuki Foundation. Listen to Part 1 of the debate when the participants respond to the question:</p>

<p>Finally, throughout the show we air some of the new songs produce by local Montreal reggae artists Auresia. Some of our collective members had an opportunity to sit down with her and discuss how environment issues play a role in her music.</p>

<p>Finally, we aired Part 1 of the <a href="http://canadianyouthdelegation.wordpress.com/">Canadian Youth Delegations</a> first podcast, which is composed of recordings gathered at the <a href="http://www.wearepowershift.ca/">Power Shift</a> Conference in late October. With enough persistence, Nadia managed to score an interview and attend press conferences with former CLASSE spokesperson Gabriel Nadeau Dubois, and leading environmentalist, Bill McKibben. </p>

<p>Members of<a href="http://theplateclub.blogspot.ca/"> The Plate Club</a>, a reusable dishware provider service of the Students Society of McGill University, took over Ecolibrium on November 6th. They produced and hosted a full show that covered a wide range of topics.  </p>
<p>The show featured an interview from a local student run-organization, <a href="http://reboot.mcgilleus.ca/">Reboot McGill</a>, to discuss how their actions respond to the problem of electronic waste on a micro-level scale. </p>
<p>Throughout the show, the birth, life and death of a Styrofoam plate is explained. Programmers also had the chance to speak with fellow McGill students and explored some of their conceptions of styrofoam.</p>
<p>The show includes a clip about the waste management system on McGill campus and in Canada from a conference and interview with Canadian Researcher Myra Hird. </p>
<p>Finally, a local Montreal musician and Plate Club Member Jess Roz does an amazing live in-studio performance! </p>

<p>The show featured an interview with the Business and Human Rights Coordinator, Ian Heide, from <a href="http://www.amnesty.ca/">Amnesty International Canada</a>. Ian spoke with Shon about Amnesty International&#8217;s ongoing campaign to promote ethical business practices within an international corporate environment. </p>
<p>Melissa and Shon had the opportunity to attend the <a href="https://www.alumni.mcgill.ca/aoc/events-travel/EventDetails.php?id=MTYxNTE%3D">End of Growth Tour talk given by environmentalist David Suzuki and economic Jeff Rubin on October 15th 2012</a>. Shon gives a detailed report on some of the important points that were brought up during the evening. </p>
<p>Members of the <a href="http://www.raginggranniesmontreal.ca/raging-grannies-calendar.html">Montreal Raging Grannies</a> joined us live in the studio for an on-air performance of their songs about the environment. They also spoke to us about their Old, Bold and Beautiful Calendar for the year 2013!  </p>
<p>Finally, we aired the second part of Will Allen&#8217;s lecture on <a href="http://www.growingpower.org">Growing Power </a>and the urban agriculture movement that is providing local and sustainable food to a wide network of town and cities across the United States </p>
