The Green Community Schools mission promotes enviromentally aware schools and sustainability. It has pilot programs in Chicago and Detroit where they are creating model schools that are stronger, safer and healthier places of learning. The parts are easy to assemble and dissemble. Even the wheels fold up! There are other folding bikes on the market, but they are not as compact because the wheels do not fold. Here you can see the spokes of the wheel folding into the rim.

The frame folds onto itself too. The brakes, crank, handlebars and chain are also removable and collapsible.

I can really use something like this as I have no storage space in my condo!!

This little invention is not out yet, but its a good idea. It will charge your gadgets outdoors while you are at the picnic, beach, campsite or outdoor concert. The solar stake goes into the soft ground or sand. It will be very handy. How many times have you gone somewhere and forgotten too charge up?

I wonder it will be effiecient and grabbing solar energy and feeding your gadgets. I know batteries are getting better and gadgets are using less energy but I don’t think it might work.
