Crystal Faceted Rainbow ~ Convertible Bracelet and Necklace DIY from eCrafty.com

Cheryl loves all things sparkly. So when we got in our new mix of crystal faceted rondelles SKU 606A,B,C in a rainbow of colors, she went to town making a new necklace/bracelet. Cheryl chose our charm bracelet SKU 1199G with small links as the base for her crystal dangles. She used our new ball end headpins SKUs 1506E, F, G to attach the rondelles to the chain, two per link. Her pattern was a rainbow of beads with crystal clear at the center. Adding our crystal faceted drop SKU 433.23 at the center was a final touch. Cheryl wanted this creation to be both a bracelet and a necklace. So she exchanged the lobster clasp for our magnetic clasp SKU 1729. She also put a magnetic clasp on our bright silver ball chain SKU 1240Z. Now she can wear these rainbow crystals as a necklace or a bracelet. How FUN is that?f

4 Fun Pendant DIYs from eCrafty.com: Falling Crystals, Wrapped Beach Glass, Wire Weave Confetti Star, & Wrapped Ice Crystal

Falling Crystals Necklace

Cheryl decided to use two of our snake chain bracelets SKU1190 to make one necklace. Our Starter Master Bracelet has a screw end to allow you to thread large holed beads onto the chain. In this necklace, Cheryl used our large holed Millefiori Glass Beads 1700Q for the focal beads. She also used a variety of metal spacer beads from our Bail Style Deluxe Metal Bead Mix 1155. Cheryl strung these in an asymmetrical pattern for interest. The extension chain hanging at the front was a perfect base for more dangles. Here she used some bead frames she also found in our 1155 Bali Bead Mix.
She used small crystal beads on a head pin in the center of the bead frame. You could also use charms or bead dangles. Finally, Cheryl connected the two bracelets by exchanging the front clasp with a jump ring. We have a great beginner’s assortment of jump rings if you’re not sure what size you’ll need ~ Our Silver Jump Ring Mega Mix 1501Q - great assortment of 500+ pre-sorted silver plated brass jump rings in sizes from 5mm up to 12mm ~ something for every connection!

Beach Glass and Pearls Wrapped Necklace
Wire wrapping is a hot trend right now. Cheryl used one of our Beach Sea Glass Pebbles 301A for her beach glass and pearl necklace. Start by gluing a bail to the back of the pebble of your choice. Cheryl used 806A-10pc pendant bail glued into place with E-6000 Craft Adhesive SKU 1083.

After letting the glue dry overnight, she used a couple of feet of 18 gauge wire for decorative wrapping around the pebble. She added several glass pearls SKU 446MIX200 and some crystal beads 1183C. What an easy project. Our beach sea glass pebbles come in green and aqua as well as clear. We also have sea glass beads and pre-drilled sea glass pendants.

Green Confetti Star Necklace
Are you into wire wrapping? Cheryl can't stop! For this necklace, Cheryl used one of our larger bead caps SKU 1153 as the armature or framework for her beaded pendant. Using 2-3 feet of 18 gauge wire, she started by wrapping the wire to secure it at the starting point. Then she threaded a pattern of seed beads 1200R-GOLD and Confetti Foil Beads 1370E and worked around the frame. She even made star points by using a pattern of 2 seed beads, 1 confetti bead, 1 seed bead, and then back through the confetti bead, and then 2 more seed beads. You can create any pattern you like. Also we have confetti beads in lots of colors: Aqua, Amber, Pink, Green and Clear. You can make Christmas ornaments in the same way too.

Aqua Confetti Star Necklace

Through the magic of Photoshop, I dreamed up what would happen if you made Cheryl’s creation above with our aqua confetti beads. Here’s what it would look like!

Wire wrapped crystal drop necklace
Cheryl loves all of our faceted crystal pendant drops. Here she embellished the drop SKU 433.21 with wire wrapped beads. Using a couple of feet of 28 gauge wire, Cheryl wrapped the wire at the hole at the top and then started threading random small beads on to the wire. She used our small silver spacer beads 517G and 517H along with small crystal beads 1183C and zebra stripe E beads in black. You can make any design you like with the wire. Just start and end at the top. The bail is made by threading more silver spacer beads and then looping the wire through the hole. This crystal pendant looks great with one of our neck cords or chains.

The Mustard Seed Traveling Mini Bottle Pendant DIY Kit by Brad Spry

This is a wonderfully inspiring project sent into us by our customer Brad Spry in North Carolina. This is his traveling Mustard Seed Ministry Kit.

Brad writes: "I saw someone else make one online, but I've put my own touches on it. It's an evolving design. It could be embellished more, but I like the simple look, to keep the focus on the seed."

"What's important to me is putting together a kit so that I can have everything with me. I have a roll of ball necklace stuff with me too."

His kit contains everything he needs to customize his Mustard Seed pendants on the go - including a small butane torch to solder closed the triangle jump rings for the top of the pendant bottles.

"It took me awhile to come up with a solution to close the triangle. I found the awesome little butane powered soldering iron you see in the picture, that's a nifty tool if there ever was one. "

"Of course the most special thing of all is making them right in front of people, before their very eyes. It's not hard but it's very much the thought that counts and the love that goes into making them, and especially the message. Even the triangle itself is a message, lots of messages in this little bottle :-) "

"Matthew 17:20 is the main mustard seed scripture. That's the message, it's not about me. I tell people that's all the faith that they need, just this little amount. People appreciate it, gives them a little hope. "

5 New DIYs! Altered Sea Glass, Flying Pigs, Mini Bottle Amulets, Wired Love!

Well, we've been having a lot of fun with our supplies again!

1. Sea Glass View Finder Pebbles. This technique has some great jewelry possibilities as well as gift applications! Check it out!

How to: Anne added two layers of 3D Crystal Lacquer (let dry between layers) to the top side of our sea glass pebbles. Keep the bubbles if they form for an underwater effect.

Pop the bubbles if they form by dragging the end of a headpin or safety pin, even a chopstick through the glaze.

For the focal image, she sealed a printout (in this case, an ocean scene) to the bottom with 3D Crystal Lacquer. It forms a beautiful porthole or see-thru window.

2. Sea Glass Message Pebbles/Pendants
Kim has been experimenting with her old faithful HP LaserJet 1200. It is a toner (not ink jet) printer which produces heat-set black toner images.

This technique also has some great jewelry possibilities - both on our sea glass pebbles and our craft glass tiles. Detailed instructions available on our eCraftyBlog1 or eCraftyBlog2.

Make it a pendant! For either of these transfer/altered techniques - by adding a bail to the back with e6000, you've got an incredibly interesting pendant possibility.

3. When Pigs Fly! Embellished Necklace Kim created this little gem in under a minute from our 633NECK finished Flying Pig Necklace by adding just a little 4mm pink crystal bicone dangle on a headpin. You can also get JUST the flying pig charms 633 here.

4. Wired Love Wow! Look what our friend and away at college co-worker Hannah made with wire (2 gauges) and our 4mm glass pearls 446MIX200 (200pc 4mm glass pearls ~ a customer favorite).

5. Mini Bottle Amulets Anne & Kim have been playing with the mini bottles, again!

We got some dramatic results by hanging a very small charm from our Charm Mega Mix 100 Pack, (in this case, baby angel wing or shell or key or seahorse) from the underside of our mini bottles 1200V-10PACK or 1200J-10PACK the cork with just a headpin. Left to dangle this makes for some simply beautiful jewelry pieces.

You can built on any of these with beaded dangles, word charms, wire wrapping, mini-notes, you name it!

DIY Sea Glass Beach Glass Image Transfers from eCrafty.com!

Anne has been experi-menting with image transfers onto our Sea Glass Pendant kits (available at www.eCrafty.com) in our Sea Glass, Beach Glass section .

In a perfect world, Kim thinks you can get them to look like this with a laser print or ink jet image transfer process. Some of the most basic image transfer techniques are to spray fixative on the toner or ink jet side of your printout, burnish ink side down, and release your paper. We're still daydreaming about the possibilities.

Sea Glass Image Techniques:

1. Anne applied 3D Crystal Lacquer directly onto our Sea Glass Pebbles to get an instant contrasting textural pattern (glossy/matte stripes or dots).

2. She also drew directly onto the pebbles with a fine point sharpie (seahorse).

3. She glued a lacy fern front directly onto the glass with 3D Crystal Lacquer.

4. Lastly, she tried an image transfer with a laser or ink jet print. We are still working on the image transfer idea and will keep you updated on our results.
Any of these techniques have great possibilities and add a ton of dimension to our Sea Glass Pebbles Pendant Kit. Get a batch today and start playing! Combine them with our other sea glass beads and themed charms and glass pearls & glass beads/crystals.

1 Minute Jewelry DIYS: Recycled Garden Catalog Pendants
I don't know about you, but right now I have a great assortment of garden catalogs filled with way more pictures of lovely flowers than I can absorb!

Why not repurpose them as wearable art? I've used our 1-minute pendant kits and our instant pendant kits to do just that - it's as easy as peel, stick, trim and insert.

The top loops/bails are large enough to work with any of our organza neck cords, ball chains, leather cords or rubber cords. Once your supplies are laid out and your scissors are close at hand, this project will take 1 minute or less! Watch out, it can be habit forming!

Consider the two minute version and add a little snippet of type or words on top of your image before you stick your epoxy dome dome. Consider the five minute version and make a little custom dangle out of our headpins, crystals, glass pearls or lampwork beads. Easy, fun, and full of springtime! Enjoy!

DIY Jewelry: Solar System Planets Bracelet from eCrafty.com!

How cute is this? Becky was inspired by our new Rainbow Resin beads in Crazy Quilt and Tie Dye Swirl patterns (our SKUs 1307A, 1307B) to make a bracelet based on the solar system. She used our 1508E Sun Charms for... the sun! She used the pnuemonic "My Very Educated Mother Just Served Us Noodles" to correctly order Mercury Venus Earth Mars Jupiter Saturn Uranus Neptune ~ each with their own beady personality! (Pluto is no longer considered a planet but we still are going to give it a shout out.) If you look VERY closely, right next to Earth, you will see Becky even included the moon - a 4mm 1/6" e-bead from our eBead mixes.

This could be made on stretch cord for classes or youth groups. Becky used tiger tail (coated steel wire), some simple crimp beads (squish to hold your bead in place), and a few assorted bead mixtures of ours listed below.

1. Key to My Heart Encased in Glass Shown above, Anne used our new WIDER 1200V-10pack 1" jug-shaped glass mini bottles to encase our key charm & millefiori heart in glass.

2. Key to My Heart Mini Bottle Necklace Anne created this little gem from our 1200L-10pack-KIT mini bottle eye screw kit, a trimmed key charm 1611B, and a little millefiori red heart dangle ~ our 1626 hung on a 1505z headpin and looped at the top. Attached with our jump rings 1501Q to our customer favorites ~ one of our 1240W silver-plated brass snake chains. .

3. Graffiti Love Pendant! Anne made this glass heart pendant with a printout of her favorite
valentine, our 302H glass heart cabochons, a little 3D Crystal Lacquer, e6000 for the bail on the back, and one of our 1240z ball chain necklaces. She finished the glass cab with our transparent glass markers SKU 700. You could also use any opaque paint pen made for ceramic and glass.

4. Lace Hearts Doily/Doilie Glass Pendants and Magnets This is one of those sleeper ideas that really surprised me! Pendant: Anne just took a paper doily,

glued/applied it to the back of our 302H-10pc glass heart cabochons with 3D Crystal Lacquer, trimmed the edges and added a bail (806A-10pack).

Lace Hearts Fridge Magnets: Same process but add our magnets rather than a bail for cute fridge magnet set.

5. Scrabble Tile Pendants 123!
We put together a step-by-step tutorial for simple scrabble tiles, over atour blog - this is always a fun starter project - glue a bail (806A-10pc) to the back of a scrabble tile, add an epoxy cover if you want, embellish with a simple dangle or even add a photo.

Just GLUE IT! 3 Easy Bracelets made with Buttons, Scrabble Tiles, Metal Stampings Bracelets

We're bringing you three fun and different ideas for our glue-on bracelet blanks. These samples were all made with our craft-quality bracelet blanks SKU 1450

1. Steampunk Dreams Anne made this cool mixed metals steampunk style bracelet from our 1450 basic craft bracelet base and our 1152 or 1159 Fearless Crafter's Metal Stampings Mix with just a little dab of e6000 on the base and between the metal charm layers. Click photo for a closeup. This mix has so many fun options - lots of shapes and raw mixed metals to play with!

2. Button UP! Kim made this antique off-white mixed button bracelet with our same 1450 craft bracelet base and our Vintage Buttons Mix in white. She chose a trio of buttons from small to large for each landing pad and then attached them with e6000 adhesive. We also have a nice Vintage Buttons Mix in warm neutrals which would work great too. This is an great idea for kids to make for Mother's Day.

3. Say Anything 6-Tile Scrabble Bracelet Got 6 letters? Make some wearable art! Kim used our 1410 Vintage Scrabble tile mix and our 1450 craft bracelet base along with a dab of e6000 adhesive for a nearly instant scrabble tile bracelet. Stuck for a word? Check out this link ~ tons of common 6-letter words you can use to create with! How we didn't think of CRAFTY I just don't know! :-) Blame it on the Holidaze!

New Year's Resolution Embellished Bottle Pendants
Fun and quick - using our 1200L-10pack mini bottles and our eye pins, thread our bali spacer beads 1155 on either side of our glass pearls ~ top it off with a crystal bicone to make these New Year's Resolution Keeper Bottle or embellished Message in a Bottle pendants. If you'd like, fill with a personal message (New Year's resolution ~ "Stay Calm" "Have Fun" "Craft More" "Lose 10 Pounds" on a fortune cookie sized paper. Tie with twine. Optional fill with favorite beach sand or glitter .... just do it! Hang from our cords and chains (many styles - snake chain or organzas are especially pretty combined with these) with a simple jump ring ~ These are EASY, cute and original little treasures!

DIY Beaded Eye Glass Leashes in Under 5 Minutes!
Hard to find but we've found it! Glass beads hand strung and linked on sturdy silver plated brass chain for beading, decorating, jewelry making, and near-instant eye glass leashes.

Sold by the yard, split in 2, makes (2) near instant eye glass leashes or 18" necklace.

You will need a few of our simple findings (eye glass connectors, jump rings, possibly lobster clasps) to finish.

You can also deconstruct this chain very easily to create indivual dangles or glass charms. Want to add a pendant or some charms? Basic chain fits bail and jump ring openings of 4mm and larger. Sold by the continuous yard - if you order (2) yards, we will send you a complete 72" inches of chain. Way too fun - you are just going to have to take our word on this one!

Press down firmly, wipe excess glue from edge. Trim carefully and let dry fully. Brush same sealer on back side of your glass dome and let dry fully again.

Add a glue on bail with e6000 and let dry fully again. Or, add a magnet for a really cute fridge magnet.

The "let dry" part of this project is the time consuming part. You might want to speed things along with a quick trip in a low-temp (250 degree) oven. (Not the microwave).

1 Minute Gift: Start with any of our message/word charms, a jump ring, and a chain.

We selected our "Live, Laugh, Love" charm.

Open a jump ring like an "S: with 2 pliers, thread the open ring through your charm.
Lay our ball chain 1204Z across the opening.
Close the jump ring with your pliers again, forming a closed "O".

Voila! You are done. Make it pretty with one of our organza bags or gift pouches.

2 Minute Gift: To embellish, Anne added a simple crystal bicone dangle or other gorgeous crystal shapes. This dangle color could represent birth month/ birthstone color or the recipient's favorite color.

Load a headpin or eyepin with our 4mm or 6mm bicone mix and an optional 2.5 or 3mm smooth round silver spacer. Simple or wrap loop around end of your pliers and trim with nail clippers.

3 Minute Gift. To embellish more: Anne added another simple dangle, this time using our bali-style headpin and one of our 6mm or 8mm glass pearls mix.

How to Make a Beaded Angel! "Build your Own Angel" Recipe from eCrafty.com

Lay your parts out in "head to toe" order on a bead board or soft wash cloth until you have an arrangement that makes you smile. :-) Then, simply thread onto our eyepins or headpins. 1. Baby Photo Angels See our sample above. We used our 2-loop charm bases 1229-10pack,20mm glass domes, bali style metal spacers 1155, one of ourcrystal drop pendants, gold angel wings 1601H-G, and a few jump ring and eye pins for connectors. We used a very light coat of 3D Crystal :Lacquer to seal our trimmed ink jet image to the dome. Let dry fully. Then, we applied a second coat, set glass dome on top to seal. If you're working with a real photo, you will want to use e6000 to seal your photo to your glass dome. We also used e6000 to secure the wings flat, in place.

2. Beaded Glass Pearl Angels Get a jump on your Christmas crafts with these sweet angel accents. Here Cheryl used our 10mm ivory glass pearls #441A on a headpin withAngel Wings #1505A. She added bead caps #1608A for a metallic sparkle. ACell Phone Strap #793i is the perfect way to hang your pearl angel on the Christmas tree or package. These also work well as necklace pendants, zipper pulls or easy teacher gifts when hung from our #690-5pc beadable bookmarks.

3. Simply Crystal Angels Here's another easy way to say "angel" with beads! Kim and Anne cooked up a few variations using our Ice Crystal Drops, our Ivory Pearl Bead Mix #440-IVORY-3PACK,1155 Bali Bead Mix, Angel Wings #1505A, Scroll Style Wings #1607A a few jump rings and eye pins again as connectors.

4. Monday Morning Angels Hey, we're not all perfect, right? :-) Kim made these angels from ourFimo Women poly clay beads #1506D, ourClear & Faceted Bead Mix #1220, our Swirl Charms #1508B, our Ice Drop Crystals in Snowflake style, and the other connectors mentioned in above.

5. Amber Beaded Angels For another variation on the Glass Pearl Angels, Cheryl created these Beaded Amber Angels with our Amber Jewelry Maker's Mix #1419. Our Jewelry Maker's Mixes are our color themed blends of lampwork and crystal glass beads - instant inspiration! Cheryl chose a large lampwork bead for the body and a crystal bead for the head. A few seed beads,#1200R-Gold and Angel Wings #1505A and a Bali bead for a halo #1509W.

6. Make and Take! These Angel Earrings by Anne are a perfect project on the go ~ Grab a fewcrystal beads,roped bali saucer spacers, some scroll or angel wings, ear wires, eye- and/or head pins- put them in a small zip bag along with small jewelry pliers and tuck them in your backpack or purse. 1. Metallic Sharpies or Opaque Paint Markers on Bamboo Domino Tiles This is a quick & easy method for making interesting custom bamboo tile pendants, beads and bolos.

We used metallic Sharpie markers to make the funbamboo tile pendants above. This is a great project for all ages - the top left design was made by my son Nick who was 8 at the time! Can you tell which one?

Finish your custom bamboo tiles with our non-stretch rubber or leather cords, or string or wrap with wire and attach with jump rings to your favorite cord or necklace. These also make great keychains and household tags!

2. Mr. Bones Halloween Necklace by Anne Strasser. Anne sketched a Halloween-theme on our black bamboo domino tiles with a silver paint marker. Finished with some black bead nuggets and beading wire. Great for the kids too! A simple BOO for small ones, more detailed as your sketching skills increase.

3. Bamboo Domino Tile Beads with Stamped Images by Cheryl Satterlee. Look at the gorgeous effect Cheryl created with a rubber stamp inked onto our blonde bamboo domino tiles. She finished her design with our bamboo bead spacers.

4. Upcycle/Recycle your calendars, school photos, greeting cards into a cool pendant or key chain fob. Kim made this from a left over calendar page and a black bamboo domino tile, glued and sealed with 3D Crystal Lacquer sealer.

She applied one of our rectangular glue-on bails to the back to make the tile function more as a traditional pendant than a bolero/beaded style adornment.

5. Bamboo Domino Tile Beads as....Beads!

DIY Mini Bottle Aquarium Charms Make Sweet Little Gifts!

Wow! Look what Anne just dreamed up with our newest jug-size mini glass bottles! What FUN gifts these would make! She combined several ideas into one cool themed creative set - combining snowglobe shaker style action with filled colored water and ocean themed charms. See our themed charms & pendants section for more inspiration and ideas!

She made these little treasures with our 1200V and 1200G series mini bottles, our eye pins, headpins, our 1507A and 1507L fish charms, some extra glitter, a few smaller beads or glass pearls, with a mixture of mainly glycerin (find it at your drug store), mixed with some water and a dash of food coloring to finish. Seal your liquid filled bottles with our e6000 adhesive around the base of the cork and let dry fully.

Other really fun ideas for these jug-shaped mini bottles include mini snowglobes, terrariums, planetariums, time out charms, picture or photo pendants, etc.

I especially love that this project is very portable – you can bead up the individual pins just about anywhere – in front of your favorite TV show or Netflix movie, or at one of the kids’ practices, and finish them later. You might even get some help from envious bystanders! (This has happened to me at both kids’ swim lessons and at the orthodontist’s waiting room). There is no end to what friendly folks will volulnteer to help you with when there’s crafting going on!

Hannah’s clear AB version below used all the same size beads(our SKU 1692B).
The basic technique is quite simple.

Bead 1 eye pin, form loop at end. Repeat your pattern (Hannah’s design used 9-10 2″ pins).
Complete each end with a simple loop (round-nosed plier are perfect for this).
Lay out flat, test your pattern. If you are using several bead sizes, it helps to start with the largest beads toward the center.
Open your jump ring like an “S”. Attach each on end of each pin loop to the jump ring, close the ring.
Lay your finished piece flat on a non-stick (wax paper) or silicone cookie sheet.
Secure your pattern with 3D Crystal Lacquer over the first “ring” of beads in the middle and over the central jump ring.
Let air dry. You can speed the dry time along by baking in a low temp 250 oven for approx. 15 minutes.

Hannah learned a few lessons along the way – if the pins are beaded consistently, your snowflake should assemble quite easily.

You’ll notice in the gold version below, she used her largest beads toward the center of her design, and interspersed different sized clear spacers and crystals.

5 Fun DIYs with our Fillable Ornaments, Bottles & Charms!

Here’s some fresh ideas for creating easy person-alized fillable gifts you can be working on NOW for heart felt gifts this holiday season!

1. Fillable Acrylic Ornaments and Gift Holders

Look at this sweet creation! Anne used our Black White Squares downloadable art sheet as the background, with one of our 1606w Eiffel Tower and our dream charms.The 1" smaller size dome is pictured. She added a picture from the web & secured it with Crystal Lacquer. Find more info on our product page here. We have just begun to play with these - photos, baby's first Christmas, interior gilding, glitter, wire wrapping, glue the outside with pearls, fill the inside with a jewelry making kit and loose beads for a gift in an ornament....metallic sharpies or ournew glass markers on the outside - just a ton of ideas spring to mind ...try some!

2. Wish and Dream Keeper Jars Anne made these from some of our mini bottles, our wish and dream charms (we have many message charms) a jump ring and some dandelion seeds (free ~ if you don't have any, you can borrow some of mine!)

We were inspired from several Etsy and Pinterest pins! These little bottles and word charm combos can be made into necklaces, glued closed and used on charm bracelets, filled with fairy dust, baby teeth, sand, wedding rice, etc. All with matching message charms.

Bottled Sunshine, one of our all-time favorites made by our talented friend and co-worker Hannah Greenberg.

Hannah used office highlighters on our black and white downloadable art sheet printouts, then rolled them up and tucked them very carefully inside our 1200 series 1" mini bottles. The effect is incredible - from a little rolled up paper scrap you can customize any mini bottle into an art pendant in any color you can imagine!

4. Bali Beaded Fairy Dust or Tooth Fairy Bottles Here's a fun little set bali-style bead cap embellished mini bottles that Anne just cooked up one day. Once you start putting these together, it's hard to stop!. Made with our1200 series mini bottles and 1153 deluxe bead cap mix. Click for a closeup and watch out - these are great for little tooth fairy bottles, fairy dust, birthday mementos, princess favors & tiny sparkly treasures!

5. Mini terrarium jewelry

Look what Becky and Anne made with our 1200L and 1204M mini bottles! Becky used our smallest size to showcase her incredibly sculpted miniature mushrooms, while Anne used moss/lichen from her yard to make these wonderful charms/pendants.

6. Mini Bottle Piglet Charm ~ Customize with color! Our friend and coworker (and college-bound this fall!) Hannah fell in love with our mini bottle pigletsand quickly filled one with our $1 pink seed bead mix 417. The result? A near-instant, custom-colored pig charm! Seriously, there's no such thing as a bad day with one of these nearby.

Creative Summer Fun with our Bamboo Domino Tiles & Bali Beads!

We've cooked up a FUN and EASY little group of pendants using a few of our customer favorites. Click on any picture for closeup.

1. By the Sea, embellished bamboo domino tile pendant by Anne. She used a bamboo domino tile, painted silver with a metallic silver sharpie, trimmed one of our starfish charms and applied seed bead mix and a crystal bead accent to the base with 3D Crystal Lacquer. She added a simple hanging element to the bottom with our bali bead cap mix and a few crystals. She finished this piece with a piece of chain strung through the length-drilled domino tile to wear as a pendant.

2. Recycled Gauguin bamboo domino tile pendant. Kim made this from a left over calendar page and a black bamboo domino tile, glued and sealed with 3D Crystal Lacquer sealer. She applied one of our rectangular glue-on bails to the back to make the tile function more as a traditional pendant than a bolero/beaded style adornment. Easy, fast, fun!

3. Bali Style Beaded Pendants by Hannah. These little beauties are made from our new Bali Bead Cap mix ~ Hannah strung an array of ideas to show how versatile this new mix is! One of my favorite ways to use the our new Bead Cap Mix is to string the caps bottom to bottom, creating larger focal Bali Style bead combos. Beautiful!

Here's another sample from Hannah ~ great ideas and not enough room in our newsletter to feature them all - our advice, get a pack and start playing!

The basics: Use headpins and eyepins for smaller pendants and hanging doo dads, use beading wire or craft wire for longer pieces. Either twist the bottom into a loop or string onto your headpin starting with a spacer bead.

We've been having so much FUN with our latest shipment of mini bottles in sizes ranging from 3/4" to 3.5". Here's some really FUN DIY ideas that our crafty friends (& coworkers) have made recently.

6. Sea Glass Bottle Toppers Anne just made these the other day and they are irresistable.

She made these very quickly using an assortment of our newmini bottle sizes 1200G, 1200S, 1200T and our Sea Glass Pebble Mixtures in Ocean and Aqua and some Weldbond or e6000 for securing the pebbles to the corks. Anne found that our new pebbles are perfect for gluing (magnets, bottle toppers, pendants) as they have many flattened sides. Consider these for wire wrapping, fridge magnets, jewelry making, and e6000 insta-crafting this summer!

Made to mimic rare beach glass treasures - our man made sea glass beads and pebbles are made from earth-friendly recycled glass, tumbled into super smooth pebbles ~ sure to win you over with their glowing hues. Mother Earth Bud Vase Made with our mini bottles - crafty Anne drilled a log from her yard with 7/8" or 1" bit and inserted our mini bottles 1200S and 1200G, corkless, for an instant bud vase centerpiece. This is a great idea for summer time entertaining ~ if you've got a handy drill nearby - this is a very quick project!
