In this week’s Making Sense with Ed Butowsky, I walk you through one of the most important principles I learned when I first entered this industry. The genius of investing is recognizing the direction of trends, and it is a principle I have carried with me throughout my entire career. Most investors confuse short-term noise with real trends, and that mistake can cost them everything. Watch now because what took me years to learn in this industry, you can understand in minutes.

In this week’s Making Sense with Ed Butowsky, I cover the 8 critical metrics that show you the true health of your portfolio because performance alone is never the full story. Unfortunately, many retail portfolios fall somewhere between a 25% to 40% probability of losing money over the next 12 months, and most investors have never been told that number. I walk you through exactly what to measure, what to ask your advisor, and what the numbers really mean. If you want to know whether your portfolio is truly healthy, watch this now.

A currency down 60% and constrained oil movement can reflect a system under pressure rather than a headline-driven story.

Iran’s currency has lost a significant portion of its value against the U.S. dollar. When that happens, purchasing power falls, and prices rise at a pace that becomes difficult for households and businesses to absorb. Inflation at these levels often does not stay fully contained. It spreads through the entire economy and can disrupt normal business activity.

Last week on NTD News, this is exactly what my conversation centered around. At the same time, a meaningful share of Iran’s oil is sitting unsold. That revenue is critical. Without it, the system can become more constrained, rather than stabilize.

What stands out to me is how global markets are absorbing this. Energy production across the world remains strong, and that is helping stabilize prices even as tension rises. If oil moves higher, I would expect it to be temporary based on current supply dynamics.

That story deserves more than a headline, and my perspective on every layer of it is in this video.

Consumer spending just surged, and it is not matching what many households are experiencing right now.

Last week on Real America’s Voice, I discussed why retail sales increased 1.7% in March, the largest gain in more than three years, even with prices still elevated.

From what I am seeing, this may come down to timing. Many households have already filed their taxes and could be expecting refunds. That short-term cash may be supporting spending. At the same time, people are continuing their normal routines without fully adjusting to higher costs. I see that in my own household as well.

But the pressure has not gone away. Gas prices are higher, and even something as simple as replacing a car headlight or paying for an engine repair can cost thousands today.

The headline says spending is strong. The reality underneath it is more complicated. They’re counting on you not to notice. I’m counting on you to pay attention. Catch me on Real America’s Voice.

Consumer sentiment just hit an all-time low. Americans are spending more than ever. And nobody can explain why. Until now.

This week on Wealth Transparency, Michelle Connell of Portia Capital Management and Andrew Tang of Turner Financial Group did not just connect the dots. They redrew the entire map and handed it to you.

OPEC dropped output 27% in a single month. The IMF slashed global growth forecasts. Green investing is collapsing. And the sectors emerging from the rubble are generating the kind of wealth that rewrites retirement plans.

We got into all of it. And then some.

The spending never stopped. The answers just arrived. Watch it now. Share it with everyone whose money deserves this moment. Subscribe to Wealth Transparency. And like it so loud the whole market hears you.

The single most important thing I said was this: the worst is most certainly over. If you have money in this market, you need to hear why.

When energy prices fall, companies spend less, keep more, and earn more. That is not an opinion; that is arithmetic. I joined Stinchfield Tonight to walk through exactly why this rebound was so significant, why crude oil is likely headed toward the $60 to $70 range, and what the Strait of Hormuz has to do with interest rates in America. The fundamentals of this economy are very, very good, and I believe the market is finally starting to act like it.

If there is one thing you owe yourself right now, it is understanding why this moment in the market matters more than you think.

In this week’s Making Sense with Ed Butowsky, I explain how I use covered call writing to help generate additional income from stocks my clients already own. I walk through real client examples, including Pfizer and AEP, where income was generated without selling the position. The goal is to help investors explore how appreciated holdings could potentially generate income without disrupting long-term positions. If your portfolio has appreciated positions that have never been put to work, this video was made for you.

Pressure is breaking in real time… and it’s being missed.

On Real America’s Voice, here is what we were seeing in oil, gas prices, and the broader economy.

Oil had pulled back into the low 80s, trending toward the $70 range that energy markets consider the sweet spot. Gas prices were already moving lower across the country, not just at the pump, but through everything tied to transportation, production, and the daily cost of living.

Meanwhile, the market was showing real strength. Jobs were being added. Inflation had come down to a more manageable level. When energy costs stabilize, it creates breathing room across the entire economy, and that compounds fast.

If this isn’t on your radar, you’ll feel the shift after it’s already moved through the system.

Pressure is building across energy, food supply chains, and inflation in ways that are not contained within any single economy.

In this full episode of Wealth Transparency, I am joined by Michelle Connell of Portia Capital Management and Andrew Tang of Turner Financial Group to discuss how global economic pressures are forming across different parts of the world and what that means for broader markets.

Global pressures emerge through IMF-related strain in smaller economies, energy shocks, and supply chain disruptions affecting countries differently based on their economic structure and exposure to global trade.

Every dot connects. Every conversation leads somewhere that matters to your financial future.

We also discuss how inflationary pressure can build through supply chain constraints and eventually filter into broader economic conditions.

If this conversation helped connect the dots between global pressure points and the markets people are invested in, share it with someone who follows the economy but isn’t seeing how these pieces fit together. Subscribe so you stay ahead of what is developing before it appears in the data.
