Chili Cook Off

Come out to the Enderle Family Farm at 756 River Road in Huron for a Chili Cook Off on Saturday October 25th from 4-8pm. The menu includes Terry's Famous Chili, Corn Muffins, Home-made Desserts and Beverages. Tickets are available at the door: $10 for Adults, $5 for Children (5-12) and Free for Children Under 5. Hayrides will also be available for a donation.

Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser Planned

A spaghetti dinner fundraiser has been planned for Saturday, September 27th from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the K of C Hall (109 Perry St) in downtown Port Clinton next to the Lakeland Motel. Tickets are available at the door or by contacting Tracy at 419-433-5559 or Carol at 419-366-7864. The cost is $15 for adults, $10 for kids ages 5-12 and kids under 5 eat free. The menu will include spaghetti with meatball, salad, bread and butter, beverage and dessert.

Pig Roast Fundraiser

A pig roast fundraiser will be held at the Enderle Family Farm on Saturday August 16th at 5:00 p.m. Tickets for the pig roast are available from Tracy at 419-433-5559 or Karen at 419-499-3111. The menu includes roast pork, pasta salad, baked beans, slaw, beverage and dessert. There will be a corn hole tournament and other fun activities, so come on out to the farm and have some good food and great fun. Tickets are $20 for adults or $35 per couple, $10 for kids ages 5-12 and kids under 5 eat free.

Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser Planned

A pancake breakfast fundraiser has been planned for the Ed Enderle for State Representative campaign. It will take place during the Port Clinton Walleye Festival on Saturday May 24th from 9:00 a.m. to Noon at the K of C Hall located at 109 Perry Street downtown next to Lakeland Motel. A lasagna dinner fundraiser has been planned for Sunday, April 27th from noon to 2:00 p.m. at the Milan Friends Church, which is located at the corner of Mason Road and Route 13 in Milan. Enderle Running to Save Ohio Jobs

SANDUSKY—Economic concerns, job retention and lowing state taxes topped the list of items local candidate for State Representative Ed Enderle discussed with local UAW members at a recent Community Action Program in Sandusky.

Enderle, running for State Representative, has experienced first-hand what many families in Ohio are challenged with when they lose their jobs. After working as a laborer at a local manufacturing company for several years, Enderle lost his job when the company he worked for moved its operation to another state.

“I know that we are going through tough economic times and I understand some of the fears that you and your families may be facing as I have experienced some of them myself,” Enderle said. “I too have experienced the stresses that come with a changing work situation.”

Enderle is looking forward to representing Ohio’s workforce in Columbus. He believes that providing incentives for companies will encourage new business development in Erie and Ottawa Counties. He plans to do that by working on reducing taxes in Ohio.

“We can start to solve these problems by addressing the problem of Ohio being one of the highest taxed states, 47th out of 50. Without a reduction in state taxes we cannot expect to attract new businesses or retain the ones we do have.”

Enderle plans to work with local union representatives and elected officials in Columbus to make Erie and Ottawa Counties more business friendly.
