"I begin with the name of Allah, the most merciful".

So now that Abdul Rehman has raped the English batting lineup with a six-for I have a question for the English media and Bob Willis. Would you even now blame anyone or anything other than the incapable batting squad of your team? Is there a problem with Abdul Rehman's bowling action as well or do you now finally agree with the fact that the English batsmen just do not know how to play spin. I hope you have now realized how cheap and cowardly your statements about Ajmal's actions sounded.

Please see to it that you learn to take defeat in your stride.

"I begin with the name of Allah, the most merciful".

Pakistan pulled off an amazing victory by bowling the English team out in just 72 runs. This meant that the men in green won the 2nd test at Dubai by 72 runs grabbing the series. The scorecard and the performances aside, the one most important question that comes to mind is the credibility of the ICC rankings. Is this the world's best team? A team that could not understand the importance of moving its feet to the spinners. They looked like sitting ducks as Rehman and Ajmal shot them off one by one. With players like Bell, Morgan and Peterson renowned for their skills against the spinners one really questions the English's definition of a class spinner. I think that these players and others in the Brit squad are totally incapable of coping with quality spin and that makes the side a single faceted squad and hence questions its ability as the world's best.

Strong boards like BCCI and ECB might have the say in scheduling of the ICC calenders and the ratio between suitable and unsuitable pitches but what cannot be hidden from the world is talent on display. Both India and England have been exposed as mediocre teams unworthy of the podium finish they enjoy at the top of the table! Have a look at this video and decide for your self. IS THIS THE WORLD'S BEST TEAM?

"I begin with the name of Allah, the most merciful".

Yesterday I was thinking about how poorly the Indians have performed in the Test Series against Australia. I put in quite a thought towards deciphering the mystery of such a downfall. I mean not very long ago people would not believe me when I said that the Indian team lacked the metal to be the world's best but now everyone is seeing the cracks. I looked into the recent happenings and comments by players and tried to figure out where the weakness lied apart from an utterly impotent bowling attack that has often been saved the embarrassment due to an outstanding batting outfit. I realized that since the Indians need at least 500 in the first innings of a test match it is imperative that the batsmen gel together and see eye to eye if the team wants to compete at the elite level. I figured that with such a weak bowling attack the only way a test team can survive is if the top four are committed to the same cause. I thought a little bit more and got the answer!

Gautam Gambhir recently said that the Aussie bowling was not as menacing as the results show and that every bowler looks difficult under such helpful conditions. He said that the bowlers looked difficult due to the pitches and in a way questioned their abilities by challenging them to perform the same way in the subcontinent. Then a couple days after Gambhir's outrageous analysis Verinder Sehwag said that the Aussie attack in the current series was the best that the Indians have faced in the last ten years! He believes that this bowling attack is better than Lee, Warne and McGrath! With such disparities in the thoughts of the two ace Indian batsmen one is forced to believe that their is a definite divide in the Indian side that is causing the ship to sink and fast!

If the Indian batsmen spend as much time watching the ball as they are spending making foolish comments the results might be less embarrassing. In the meanwhile let us all enjoy the bloopers both on and off the field!

"I begin with the name of Allah, the most merciful".

Well, Gautam Gambhir commented on the thrashing that the Indian team got at the hands of the Aussies by saying that such pitches make ordinary bowling look good and that every bowler looks menacing in such assisting conditions. He also challenged the Aussies to come to India and claimed that the Indians would deliver the same embarrassment they faced at the hands of the Australians.

First of all, I certainly would love to ask Gambhir to explain how the Aussies managed to put a mammoth 836 runs on the board for just the loss of one wicket during the second and the third test matches. The Aussies lost one wicket for 580 odd in the last innings of the second test and none for 240 odd n the first innings of the third. This means that on pitches and in conditions extremely favorable for the bowlers (as Gambhir said) the Indians went wicket less for around 500 runs and in fact took just 1/836 to be precise.

Moreover, being a close follower of the game I certainly share Davis Warner's concerns that the Indian team has accepted their inabilities away from the subcontinent and is now more concerned with what they can do to opponents in the subcontinent rather than rectifying their dismal track record away. I feel that this attitude would never let the over-rated men in blue prove their authority as the best in the world. In fact I feel that them being the best in the rankings is not a true depiction of their ability as a team.

Dear Gambhir, this is cricket and it is played between two teams with equal opportunities with ball and bat. So if the Aussies were good enough to hump you dry just take it with your chin up!

Ever since India came to the top of the rankings in both ODIs and Tests I for one was waiting for the cookie to crumble, With England also, I knew that the bubble would burst and consistency would lack. The fact that the ICC Cricket Rankings generally and especially for test matches do not seem to take into consideration the venues that the matches are being played at and the overall balance of a side's performance causes a team to become the world's number one team when it actually is not the best team in the world.

What do I mean? Well, simply put I want to say that if India beats teams with only its batting and only in the subcontinent then that should reflect in its ranking at the ICC ranks. Similarly, if England can only bowl teams out in the English conditions and its attack is completely rendered impotent elsewhere then it should not be the world's number one team.

With India (2) and England (1) both getting drubbings and losing in three days to Australia (4) and Pakistan (5) respectively under conditions unsuitable for their kind of play one really wonders if they should be ranked ahead of Australia and South Africa, teams that actually are filled with all round genuine talent. The fact that almost 60% of ODI cricket (or in some cases even more) takes place in the subcontinent makes India fool the rankings and the fact that England plays long test series in England, New Zealand and Australia allows them to rise up the ladder. ICC should schedule matches in such a way that all teams get an equal chance of playing in favorable and unsuited conditions since it is not difficult to see that cricketing venues now have two basic categories, subcontinental and non-subcontinental.

For me, all teams should play equal number of matches in the subcontinent and out of it in a calender year so that both bowling and batting strengths are truly tested. It is most likely that such a situation will bring balanced teams like Australia, South Africa and Pakistan to the top and unbalanced teams like England, India and Sri Lanka would struggle!

Finally the misery ends for the poor English team. They were completely out played by the Pakistan cricket team as they had no answer to the spin of Ajmal and the pace of Gul. Leaving only 15 runs for the men in green to chase the Brits suffered a 10 wicket loss at the hands of Pakistan.

The match ended with England's 192 and 160 failing to match Pakistan's 338 and hence leaving only 15 to get for a win.
With England down and struggling and Pakistan 176/2 (Hafeez 88) it looked as if the English will dearly rue their failure in the first innings. It all went a little wrong for Pakistan due to some good bowling by the Brits aided by some very ordinary cricket by the Pakistani batsmen. However with Misbah yet again making a half century Pakistan closed the day 96 runs ahead with 3 wickets in hand. Although the 350 looks allusive, we can certainly hope for around a 125 run lead which would certainly burden the already under-pressure English top order a little bit more! Tomorrow will certainly be enthralling!

Although Saeed Ajmal's Teesra was not the highlight of the 1st day in the Dubai Test between Pakistan and England the spin wizard certainly got under the skin of the British batsmen as well as the English media. Numerous occasions came when the English batsmen were totally found out miserably against the orthodox off-spin and the magical doosra of Ajmal. Never before in recent times have one seen a top order in such awe of a bowler. They looked at the pitch and each other as if they had seen a ghost and the embarrassment was evident from their faces. One felt during Ajmal's spell that the anticipation of Teesra made the batsmen so nervous that they could just not concentrate on the bowling at all. Even regular balls were not played on merit and the English looked completely at sea.

The English media looked at their batsmen and wondered what had gotten into them. They were simply shocked at the way the batsmen negotiated Ajmal and that caused them to react in their customary fashion. They started making lame excuses and eventually Bob Willis came up with an amazing allegation and questioned Ajmal's bowling action. He said that the Teesra was illegitimate and that the Pakistani bowlers used tactics like reverse swing and Teesra to get wickets on batsmen friendly pitches.

I simply have just a comment to make to this load of crap from the English media.

Dear Brits,
Remember what made you win the Ashes when Australia had grilled your asses for ages and you had almost lost hope of winning an Ashes ever? It was the reverse swing that the Pakistanis invented and then you continued to exploit it through Anderson and Broad and that is the reason your condition oriented attack has suddenly become so potent. As for the Teesra, well I am a very common off-spinner but even I can tell you that there was no such thing tried in this innings. If there is a Teesra you still haven't seen it so keep your eyes open. As for the allegations, they are baseless because they question the Teesra that actually has not been bowled yet! Finally, I would say,
Bob please grow up!

As Misbah rightly said, the teesra was the least of the Englishmen's problems when they faced Saeed Ajmal today in the first innings of the first test in Dubai, UAE. Matt Prior's 70 off 154 balls brought the Brits to some respectability after they had stumbled to a mere 5 for 43 very early in the innings.

The cocky Brits would now certainly have their tongue between the teeth and would have their work cut out for Pakistan's first innings.
"I begin with the name of Allah, the most merciful".

Whenever we talk of women rights and equality we invariably envisage a down trodden, veiled woman from Afghanistan or Pakistan living like a second rate individual in a man's world. What escapes the eyes of many is the fact that women in the United States Of America are no less deprived of equality than an average woman in these countries. What makes the state of women in USA even worse than the Afghani or Pakistani women is the exploitation that they suffer at the hands of media. Women are fast being reduced to eye candy and their value as intellectual contributors has diminished due to a systematic propagation of the gender as mere decorators of the world stage and not a useful component in its development.

Increasingly obscene images of women have embellished hoardings, magazines and television advertisements. In addition to the exploitation of women as a tool of sexual arousal and hence immense attraction at the hands of huge brands that want people's attention, the superiority of man over a woman and the insignificance of the female gender apart from its physical value is often portrayed by presenting derogatory, demeaning and outright inhuman pictures of women.

Many might take this as an attack against the broad and modern thinking of the society but the article from this point onwards is going to make them realize how differently women are treated when it comes to the usage of their brains and not their bodies.

Although no one can deny the reign of women in the fashion, glamour, television and film industries, not many would have paid attention to the fact that only 16% of the directors, technicians, producers, cinematographers and editors in these fields are women. Directly put, women might be the ones heating up the show but they are often thought to be ill-equipped when it comes to running it!

The percentage of women holding top-level positions in advertising, entertainment, advertising and publishing is 3%. Women are 51% of the US population yet the Congress comprises of 17% women and it would take approximately 500 years for women to see parity in politics in the USA. USA is 92nd in the list when it comes to women representation in the legislature, in fact more women are part of the government in Afghanistan, Iraq and Cuba than in the USA.

Those who make such a fuss about the equality of women elsewhere have to first address the issue in their own backyard. The lack of women in positions of importance in the USA and the exploitation of females as advertising aid shows that the general perception about women rights and equality in USA is extremely wrong and inappropriate and that in reality a woman is not only considered inferior but is also considered as a commodity and not as an equal and useful human being.

I was inspired to write about this by the following video. Have a look and decide for yourself.

Well, well, well... the recent content on my website has somehow caused a few people some discomfort for which I unwillingly but sympathetically apologize. Having said that, I went through the OFFENSIVE content once again and could not understand what the fuss was all about. I mean why didn't anyone go to Paulo Coelho and tell him on his face that he was a demon just because he wrote Eleven Minutes or why didn't everyone criticize The Reader for obscenity instead of giving it the Oscars. I know many readers have a stereotypical view of what should be discussed and what should remain untouched but the only way important but necessary subjects can be brought on the table is by taking a stand and never be ashamed of what you think and write. I stand by every word I have written thus far and would stand by everything I will ever utter or write.
I know that people do not often appreciate someone who writes openly about women and their right to pleasure but I also know that incest, marital rape, women subjugation and the utter negligence of what pleases a woman are all serious issues that are a part of our society. What happens behind closed doors is not often as pretty as we want it to be. When someone tries to bring it forward people invariably do not appreciate. Thank You Any ways, this shows I had an impact!

Consciousness will always be one degree above comprehensibility.~Gösta Carl Henrik Ehrensvärd

Men have tried time and again over centuries to figure out simply What Women Want but not many can claim that they have found the answer. I am also one of those who can simply marvel at the amazing enigma that a woman is. This is an attempt to really figure out what women want by looking at different facets of their life. Let us look into a woman's heart and see what she wants from men generally and from her companion particularly.

1. What Women Want In a Man

Well, one would normally associate Dark Tall and Handsome with a woman's ideal man but you often see women simply abhorring a person of such beauty and going for a less delicious looking man. Examples of Shahrukh Khan and Ralph Fiennes would always be there to mock men with exceptional looks because many a women just cannot resist the poise and grace of both superstars. What then is one single thing that a woman wants in a man. I believe strongly that a woman looks for a certain calm in a man's personality and what perhaps attracts her the most is the fact that although he is extremely fond of women he respects them more than he wants them. A woman is never put-off by a man's admiration but she really looks into how that admiration is presented in front of her. She has a unique sense of knowing the difference between a disrespectful prick who just wants to get into her pants and a decent, appreciative guy who is overawed by her curves and surely eventually wants to get into her pants! She doesn't really mind the fact that men are attracted to her bosom and behind (or else she would never dress to kill and go out in the market) but she really appreciates the way he handles it. Pinching, winking and eve teasing hardly gets her interested in a man. So, my dear friends, whatever your motives the only way to get to a woman's best part (heart ;-) ) is by giving her respect and admiration to the nth degree!

2.What Women Want To Talk About

Women are very deceptive when it comes to conversations. One often feels that a lot of the thoughts that a man has about women are better kept safe and unsaid. I believe that if put in the correct words the most explicit of thoughts can be conveyed to a woman with desired affects. I believe that wasting a compliment by converting it into eve teasing is a crime. If you like the way a woman looks, dresses, walks or talks be straightforward and tell her. Try to be very suave and confident and never be double minded about anything you say. Women sense a man's indecision and fear and they can judge his truth from the shiver in her voice. Never over do compliments and never present yourself as an ass-kisser. Women like security and that they expect in a man's words and hence they are put off by a man whose words show his weakness.

3.What Women Want In Bed

Well in the end the most important question that a man needs to have the answer for is what a woman wants in bed. She might seem innocent and naive but she is as much capable of being a live wire than a man. In fact a woman becomes much more ruthless and aggressive when completely engulfed with emotions. What we need to understand is that a woman seeks the same thing in a relationship that a man does i.e pleasure.Very few men take in consideration the woman's pleasure and hence many fail to satisfy her. I recommend men to have a deep analysis of a woman's desires and maybe read something like a "A manual to a woman's body for men". The more well researched he would be the more equipped he would be to give her pleasure. Please her and she will be hooked to you for a long long time.

All in all a woman wants respect, equality and decency. She is governed by her desire to be the equal gender. Give her respect and equality in life, conversations and in love and she would respond beyond your wildest dreams.

"I begin with the name of Allah, the most merciful".

Pakistani politicians have become so hideously corrupt that I feel like tattooing the letter "C" in scarlet color on their foreheads. Why would I choose such an act for my expression of disgust? Well the inspiration comes from the book "The Scarlet Letter".

The book talks of an adulterous woman who is forced to wear the Scarlet Letter "A" on her dress so that everyone knows of her crime and ridicules her. The late nineteenth century was full of incidents where the church would strongly punish and ridicule unmarried mothers or cheating wives. The Scarlet letter "A" was a symbol of a woman being characterless and outright evil!

I believe that Pakistani politicians at large are more amoral than sluts and adulterers because even though they are unwary of the sanctity of their body even they might tremble at the thought of selling their homeland away. Therefore I feel that every wretched politician should be marked with a hot iron stamp resulting in the letter "C" (corrupt) being embedded on his forehead!

Well, as they most often say "An idol mind is the devil's workshop", while having nothing better to do I just came up with something many might object to but some might really marvel at. Just read along to see how we often blame the effect and not the cause, how we ridicule the sick and not the sickness and how we often jump to hasty conclusions without pondering over what has transpired!

We often use the parable "When a man falls into perversion only the man alone is corrupted, but when a woman is perverted she corrupts the whole society". Have you actually ever probed into the reasons of why a perverted woman is so powerful? Well just let me give a perspective :D.

A man however perverted he might be cannot affect a horde of women with his perversion. This is because the woman thinks with her mind and at worst with her heart. The time it takes to tickle a woman's heart is often long enough for a man to be exposed or to simply loose interest in his perversion. The female body is devised is such a way that it takes quite an effort to make it dance to a certain tune or gesture. A woman is often not out of control until she really wants to be, until then she is at least able to put her heart and mind to work.

On the contrary a woman has an overwhelming margin of success as far as perverting a man is concerned. It is not because SHE is a bigger evil but simply because HE seldom thinks with his brains or heart. His thoughts are often governed by another very weak part of his body that especially is very volatile when it comes to it being in a woman's company. With the man having a BINGO sign right in between his legs, it becomes way easier for women to have their way and cause a social upheaval. It is the design that nature has given men that makes them so vulnerable.

Concluding, I would just rest my case in favour of women being the more reliable witness because I have established beyond reasonable doubt that a man is more susceptible to be governed by his emotions than women are. Especially if the opposing prosecutor is a hot female I would certainly not feel very safe with any Tom, Harry or (especially) Dick to be in my corner as a witness. So to all people who think a female witness is only half as credible as a male witness, think again, and this time USE YOUR BRAINS!

P.S. [By the way the Quran is often wrongly quoted in this matter by generalizing a verse when it is only for a specific crime.]

After some outstanding cricket from Pakistan over the past few weeks, the Lankans finally got a win under their belt. The victory was not as convincing as the thrashing they got at the hands of the men in green but still a win is a win. With the Lankans only managing 235 in the first innings the match looked straight forwardly in the pockets of the Pakistanis but an inspired bowling performance in the power play caused the team to stumble at 210 with three and a half overs to spare. It was a very well fought battle and went against the greens but the war is still alive and is yet to be decided!
I just want this ASS-HOLE to be considered as a representative of all who are NOT MUSLIMS like an ASS-HOLE like OSSAMA or GADDAFI has been considered as the representative of MY religion ISLAM!

Understanding a relationship and what it demands and the expectations one should have from it is the most important aspect of social living. In my view there are simply two kinds of relationships, obligatory and optional. The sooner we understand the dynamics and complexities associated with these relationships, the better chances we have at sustaining them and enjoying their presence to the fullest.

The first category is the obligatory relationship. Our parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts and uncles and all those relatives that suddenly are a part of our lives from the day we are born fall into this category. The key to understand these relationships is to admit the fact that they are not ours by choice. With this realization comes the responsibility of adjusting to who these people are since nature has not left us with an option to find alternates for them. Parents for example, are given to a human by nature, we don't choose where we are born neither do our parents choose the kind of kids they would ideally have liked to bring up. Interestingly enough even though we do not have a say in choosing our parents, siblings or kids, we still have the greatest emotional ties with them. Now the question is how we should go about forming a healthy relationship with someone who is not our best choice. I mean person X might want his dad to be like person Y's dad but would that make a difference? No. A dad once given to you is yours for the rest of your life, so cope up with him. Same goes for a son, a daughter, a mother, a brother etc. The way to go is to think that nature has given you a responsibility in form of this obligatory relationship and that you have to do your bit to fulfill that responsibility. It is like paying your taxes for being a national of a country. You are you because you have these obligatory relations, they give you an identity. The rights that they have over you are taxes that you ought to pay to flaunt that very identity. Secondly, DO NOT EXPECT. Expectations are poison for a relationship, especially an obligatory one. Since your obligatory relatives are not your perfect match they are not necessarily going to understand your emotional needs from your perspective. They just can't because they are different people and you never had a chance to evaluate them as suitable relatives. It is a case of take it or, well there is no alternative, you have to take them as they come. In obligatory relations the best way forward is to do your bit selflessly without looking for reciprocation. Understand that these people are not yours by choice but by default and they are a part of who you are.

Second type of relationships is the relationships you opt for. They include your love partners, business associates, friends, wives, husbands etc. Here you have a choice. The key is to make that choice wisely and then try your level best to stick with what you chose. To take your chosen companions with all their pros and cons is part of the deal here, because like a mystery novel a human being can open a new chapter and surprise you every now and then. The ease with such relations is that they can be gotten rid of and discontinued but this is also the most difficult part of dealing with them. To evaluate how important an optional relationship is and how willing you are to stand by your choice is the key to these relationships. To me, relationships that you make by choice deserve more care and nourishment because you bring them in your life by your will and the only thing that keeps the bond is your love for them and theirs for you. There is no natural binding or biological constraint. To give them comfort is of prime importance because they are in your world because you chose them to be there not because it was predestined. Again the key is to keep your expectations in check. You can however take more liberty with these relationships in this department because they often are based upon certain expectations to start with.

All in all, we need relatives to survive in this world. The ones we are born with are people we have to care for because they are in one way or the other the reason for our existence and have a contribution in the life that we lead. It is the ones that we choose to bring into our lives that deserve even more love because they need our help to understand us and the only forces holding up the relation are love and trust.

Love, has always been a favored topic amongst philosophers, writers, poets and musicians. The vastness of the word has no limit, the intensity that it holds has no boundaries and the feelings it encompasses are varied and extremely selfless.

History and Mythology indicate that Love has been the initiator of the most amazing forces that we have come to know, admire and fear. The strongest victim of love perhaps is the "Satan". He was an Angel, the most obedient and passionate worshipper of the Almighty. The extent of his obsession with the Creator compelled him to question Him when He asked all the angels to bow in front of Adam. The longing for love was so intense that "Iblees" (Satan) was forced to refuse the Almighty's command and did not bow in front of man. Satan's war against man's virtue started with his longing for Almighty's undivided love and it is this fire that ignites within him and will eventually cause him to burn in the fire of Hell! Such is the power of love!

Greeks explained love in three phases - Agape, Philia and Eros.

Agape is the name given to the love of the soul, often associated with love for God. It is a spiritual state where one finds himself devoted to the higher being.

Philia is love for the community, family or people. In broader perspective it means love and care for the fellow human beings.

Eros, as the name suggests is love for the opposite gender, a sexual feeling where one admires and desires the other gender and has an affiliation for it.

In every poem that we read, in every play that we see, in every tale that we read and in every song that we savor Love is portrayed as an "out of this world" feeling. We consider it as pure as worship and deem it the elixir of life. We put it on the podium and worship it and we talk of it with respect and passion.

With all said, the fact is that we have disgraced Love over the years. We generally hear parents say, "My girl has been brainwashed by a boy" or "The clever girl has cast a spell on my innocent boy". Such thoughts are very common amongst the parents and the elders in the society. The very parents who would want a couple to unite in a movie would want their children to stay away from love, why?

The answer is, they are not entirely wrong! Because we have given them the reason to think like they do! Look around you, in cafes, in the parking lots, in private apartments, in colleges and in the market place, the culture of erratic relationships with no commitments and with lust as the main driving force has maligned what was once the most virtuous emotion. Love has been covered with filth and we have made it loose its true meaning. Gone are the days when a girl would keep her virginity intact for the true love of her life. These times are the times of hit and trial and rhetoric like "size does matter" are the order of the day. In such times where love can tolerate a threesome one really feels for the institution that once Love was!

Depending on what your belief system is, life is a gift from nature or God. It should therefore, be treated with the same excitement and enthusiasm as a gift. One thing in this regard is very important to realize. A gift is not always what you expect it to be. It is often said that a gift is not judged by its value, it is evaluated on the basis of love and affection. The importance of a gift is due to the love that it embodies, love that the sender holds for the recipient. Life, by this definition, is a sign of nature’s love for its creation.

Once we start seeing life as a gift, we can very easily start to cherish it with fun and joy. The whole process of cribbing and getting frustrated at what could’ve been stems from our perception that life is our own cultivation. The relief that life is something given to us by nature reassures us that we only have a very minimal control over it and that most of it is pre-destined and pre-planned. Just like a gift, the only options that we have with life are either to accept it and build on it to make it successful or to throw it away and be left with nothing! To change life is not an option available with humans.

History has shown numerous examples of men accepting the gift of life and building upon it. From mute musicians to paralyzed scientists hundreds of men have shown that accepting what lacks in their lives was a major part of succeeding. If they had given up hope and thrown away the gift, they would not have made a name for themselves and would not be known as legends.

Living happily is only possible if we can find life. Most of us misunderstand life as being the breath that we breathe, or the beat of the heart, or the flow of the pulse. Life is not merely the working mechanism of the body; it is in fact the power plant of the soul. Nobody is fully alive if his soul is oblivious to the art of living and unable to extract life from the things that surround him.

Everything around us has a certain life quotient of its own. It can exude a certain amount of positivity, happiness and satisfaction. Similarly, there are objects around us that have darkness in their core and cause us to dwell into it. Living happily is all about identifying objects, activities and people around us that satisfy us. Once we have identified such sources we need to practice techniques that can help us extract maximum life out of those sources. Remember, extraction of life never results in its depletion; it in fact strengthens the liveliness of both the source and the extractor.

Life deserves respect. So for starters we as a race should respect the life of others as well as our own. A good example of respecting life could be refraining from smoking as an acknowledgment of the harm that it causes to one’s own life and the life of the people around him.

The Indian model Poonam Pandey came into the limelight when she went a step a head of every cricket fan and vowed to strip naked if the Indian Cricket Team managed to win the coveted World cup of cricket 2011. Amazingly, against all odds, the Indian cricket team won! This meant that around 300 crore people around the world had their eyes on Ms Poonam Pandey to bare it all. When she tried to go forward with her plans she was faced with barriers like the law and different organizations.

Recently when Poonam was bombarded with questions regarding her promise she gave the media a glimpse of what she had promised. In front of the media at the sets of Khatron Ke Khilari she unzipped her jacket to reveal a black skimpy bikini causing the clicks to happen and the media to drool [Image above].

Man has proven to be the most savage of animals ever to have lived on this planet. Be it the era of Gladiators, the reign of Barbarians or the Hegemony of USA, men have slain and disregarded their own kind over and over again. In fact man may be the reason for extinction of majority of species in the recent past.

It is however, when something savage happens in our vicinity that we realize how inhuman humans can be. Flashback to Sialkot, Pakistan and you will recall how a crowd battered two young men to death without any trial. It was then that many of the intellectually alive people of our country lashed at the heinous act, but nothing happened that could stop us from carrying on. It was very soon that a radical killed the liberal governor of Punjab and all we could do was sit and discuss! Then a foreigner went on a killing spree in front of us and we just saw and could do nothing. All this was savage and brutal and our reaction to it was as animalistic as the acts themselves. We saw like a savage animal sees others of its kind being hunted and plundered and doesn't have the realization of the cowardice it is displaying.

If all this was not savage enough a family in Bhakkar, Pakistan has gone to the ultimate level of barbarism. Police arrested seven people after investigating a missing corpse case with the allegation of eating the human dead. They were caught from their house with knives and human remains found in their possession and it was found that they had been eating human dead bodies for the last 10 years! This is an indicator of how we have stooped low to being mere animals!

Come to think of it we are often told that when we back-bite, it is equal to eating a dead brother's meat and we carry on back-biting, showing that the act is not all that undesirable! And anyways having the coldness of heart to see atrocities being inflicted around you is as gross as eating human dead!

Note here that the shameless Afridi and his clan is filming the first ad and the post loss ad in the same go. I know it is the way Pepsi would have wanted it but I just want to ask, WHAT KIND OF A SHAMELESS CAPTAIN DOES AN AD IN ANTICIPATION OF A LOSS! If I was ever asked to even think of losing before leaving for the world cup I would have refused to participate in the whole campaign altogether. Afridi could have forced them to drop the losing ad and just have done the one original ad and maybe an ad for the win!

This is really a shock for me and I feel betrayed!
