We are incredibly proud to share that Eden Center has been honored with the Large Business of the Year award at the Falls Church Chamber of Commerce’s Annual Business Awards Gala – the Stars & Stripes Ball – held on the evening of March 19, 2026, at the historic State Theater in Falls Church, Virginia.
The award was accepted on behalf of Eden Center by Alan Frank, with heartfelt gratitude to the Falls Church business community, the Chamber, and the thousands of visitors and neighbors who make Eden Center what it is every single day.

A Night to Remember

The Stars & Stripes Ball brought the full Falls Church community together for an evening of celebration, live music from Groove Jet, a lively auction, and dinner – all set against the backdrop of America’s 250th Anniversary. It was a fitting occasion to reflect on what it means to be a cornerstone of this community, and we were deeply moved to be recognized alongside so many outstanding local businesses.

On Wednesday, March 18, Eden Center welcomed community members, business owners, and partners from the Falls Church Police Department for a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony celebrating the renovation and grand re-opening of the police substation located in the Saigon West Mall. The event was a celebration of a partnership that has defined Eden Center’s commitment to safety and community for nearly three decades.

A Memorable Morning at Eden Center

The ceremony drew many important dignitaries including Falls Church mayor Letty Hardi, and Chief of Police Shahram Fard as well as Hoàng Đức Long President of the Vietnamese-American Community of Washington D.C., Maryland & Virginia. (VACDMV). Attendees were treated to short speeches and delicious spring rolls from Eden Center‘s famous Huong Binh DBakery. The ribbon cutting itself was a moment of genuine pride — for Eden Center’s management, its tenants, and the officers and leadership of the Falls Church Police Department who have been on-site partners for years.

The Falls Church Police Department’s presence at Eden Center is nothing new. The substation has been part of the fabric of this community for nearly three decades, a visible sign that law enforcement and Eden Center’s merchants and visitors stand on common ground. This renovation breathes new life into that relationship – upgrading the physical space and signaling that both Eden Center and the City of Falls Church are investing in the future of this community together.

Eden Center is home to more than 120 businesses, including restaurants, cafes, jewelry stores, salons, travel agencies, beauty shops, and music stores – and the people behind those businesses deserve to feel secure every day they open their doors. The renovated substation is a direct investment in that sense of security.
