I have been a loyal patron of Movie Groove since before Scott took over and everything you said above is SO true. I recently talked to Scott about doing a fundraiser in the lot after I return from vacation and am trying to get it out to as many people as possible. We need to support our local little guy who is being eeked out by Netflix and all the big businesses who don’t know you from the next person who walks in. I’m going to be calling Scott upon my return to talk details about the fundraiser (my dance troupe is going to perform) and see if we can’t get people with services to offer to come to the aid of this fabulous little guy on the corner.
Write me back if you have other ideas how to make this happen. We were devastated when we heard Scott is losing sleep over keeping the business going. Nice to see how many people care!

Thanks for the comments, Thomas. My take is that with any government program, there’s always gonna be a ‘gotcha’ somewhere. You either pay now, or pay later unfortunately — sometimes there’s no escaping Uncle Sam’s “gifts”.
