Think WE! Speaking Tour

We've teamed up with international charity group Free The Children to present "Think WE!" -- a speaking tour and leadership program for students ages 8-14.
Just like the team at Club Penguin, the "Think WE!" speakers are passionate about making a difference. They share stories to inspire YOU to take action both where you live and around the world!
You can learn more about this free program, or nominate a school from our Global Citizenship page. The program is available anywhere in English, French and Spanish!

"The Great Snow Race begins August 25!" says Gary the Gadget Guy. This is exciting news for sports fans, but the announcement raises lots of questions. Like, why would Gary throw an extreme sporty party? Outside the Everyday Phoning Faculty, a reporter asked Gary! He had to say this... "My zest for the sporting life is indestructible - in other words I really love sports!" said Gary the Gadget Guy. "I simply can't get enough, um...extreme walking! And...intense reading!" Epic Extreme Sports Igloos

Serious sports fans can soon build epic ramps in their igloos! One snowboarder spoke to us about the indoor ramp she's building. "I'm planing an intense course," she said. "So my team can practice on tracks that twists, and ramps that slant!" "We gotta ramp up our game for the Great Snow Race. Then we can chill out with slushies from my slushie maker! Bug squashing - In our last developer update, we told you we're working on a fix for the orange penguin that's appearing for some of you when you log in. This should be fixed tomorrow, too.
Top secret: for secret agents only - We're putting the finishing touches on a new System Defender level. I won't say too much about that quite yet, as the EPF likes to keep things kind of secret, and I don't want to spoil the surprise...

In this video, you will notice very strange things. Some things that are extremely classified - and only we could know! There are even some sneak peeks in the video I wanted to know you guys. Take a look...and remember, don't tell anyone these secerets...

I've always wondered what operating system Club Penguin used, and it looks like they use both Windows and Mac! They use Dells...and not other brands xD

It looks like Club Penguin is working on the scripting for Operation: Black Out! Look at the screen...you can see someone working on the script. The script isn't readable. but the title is!

It looks like Club Penguin behind the scenes is just as fun as Club Penguin itself. It would be cool to work there, wouldn't it? I'm more into graphic designing, so I would defiantly work in that department. Penguins, make sure to stay alert for Operation Blackout!

Mysterious "No Igloo" Solved

After a day of wondering, I finally received an email from Club Penguin with the response. Take a look at what one of the Club Penguin Bug Support Sent Me:

It is super great to hear from you again. I hope you have been having a ton of fun waddling around the Adventure Party. Did you get a chance to lend Rockhopper a helping flipper?

I see that you have discovered something really interesting. This was an awesome catch! In this screen shot the igloo actually failed to load completely before the picture was captured. We have sent in a request to our technical team to have this taken off and re-posted with the actual awesome igloo.

To say thank you for helping us out, I have, this one time only, added 500 coins to your account. This was super helpful and very much appreciated.

Club Penguin Bugs

Thanks XXX for helping us with this mysterious igloo. I would've loved to have a blank igloo like that. I would know how to decorate it right from the start. The picture has been changed to Maggi01's original igloo. The picture was supposed to be the "whale's mouth", but the bug caused it to look a little different. This is what the now updated Spanish Post says:

If you can read spanish, you will notice that at the bottom, the line reads, "Update: Some of you penguins commented saying that there was an error with the last picture. THANKS for telling us!"

So now that the mystery has been solved, we know that there is no such thing as a blank igloo--and that it was all a bug. Thanks Club Penguin Support for letting us know about this igloo, and for change Maggi01's original igloo back. :-)

No Igloo Coming Soon? Glitch?

My good friend, Saraapril has discovered something very interesting about Club Penguin. If you go to the What's New Blog in Spanish, you will notice that on the Spanish Version of "Interesting ,of the Week" there is a new igloo never before seen by us penguins in English...

The igloo belongs to Maggi01, but why was it posted if this igloo has never been released? It looks like the igloo was done purposely on the "no igloo" igloo, because the location of the items don't match any other igloo. This seems very weird...and Club Penguin Dynamite is going to investigate! I speak Spanish fluently, and the translated version of what Happy77 posted in Spanish, comes out as, "Matzizz18 sent us a foresty igloo of Maggi01!" If Happy77 posted it herself, I'm almost sure she meant to do it. I looked through the Spanish iggy catalog...and it's the same old version:

I'm going to email Club Penguin Support about this very important question. Is this new igloo some sort of secret that we have to try to figure out--or is it a glitch? It can't be a glitch though, because Happy77 had to do this on purpose. Rockhopper and Yarr's New Background

After 6 months of anticipation, Rockhopper and Yarr have arrived to the island of Club Penguin and are starting to meet new penguins excited to meet him! Rockhopper also has a new background, so you might want to check it out. After hours of hard tracking, I finally spotted him on Toboggan! Coincidentally, that's my favorite server. Maybe Rockhopper and I have the same taste. I went to the Snow Forts, but Rockhopper was already leaving. I quickly clicked on his player card, and I managed to take this picture...

Rockhopper also has a new background to give out to all of us. I love this new background! Rockhopper is steering his ship, with the sure help of his shipmate, Yarr! If you haven't gotten Rockhopper's new background, take a sneak peek look at what it looks like:

My favorite adventure was way back in March, The Expedition party, when we were lost in the forest, but to my surprise, once you finished the leafy maze and fixed the contraption, we sailed across a lake and came to the Brown puffle's hidden cave! This was definitely my favorite party!

Thanks Club Penguin! My favorite part of the whole Adventure Party is all of the leaves in the Tree House. The leaves somehow relax any pirate or adventurer. I'm gonna go into the room, and look at all of the little, tiny details in the room.

Island Adventure Party 2011 Tour-Guide

The Adventure Party has finally kicked off this year, and boy is it better then ever! This Adventure Party is full of exciting and new adventures. Best of all, Rockhopper is here with us to enjoy every second of it. Here, you will find the full tour guide on the Island Adventure Party 2011!

Town: This is the Town! Here you can enjoy a Coffee, Dance a jog at the night Club, or buy the best clothing items for the adventures at the Gift Shop! I love all of the trees here, and the stream running through the middle. It makes me feel very calm...I might like to enjoy a cup of coffee here.

Dance Club: Dance ot the Jungle Beat here at the Dance Club! Look lively shipmate. It's a perfect place for pirates to jig off! Wow, this place has been transformed into a tiki jungle club! I might bring some of my friends here to jam off!!

Dock: Welcome to the Dock! Here, Nacy Sailors come to plan voyages and sail by Hydro Hopper, or sit down and enjoy some tea! Wow, this room looks awesome! All of the trees, plants, and even the new "Hydro Hopper" looks awesome! I especially love the tea...except...does it have to be tea?

The Beach: Weigh in anchors sailors. Welcome to the beach where ship captains study the seas. Jump on deck and perpare for a battle! This room is perfect for any battler. There's a very interesting snow cannon on the corner. One question...where's Rockhopper? Hmm, I think he might arrive a little too late this party, but that's okay, he must be preparing something very big. Sail safely, Rockhopper and Yarr!

The Dock: Welcome to the Pirate's Village! Here, you'll find a ski Hill, a pirate's lodge. On your right is just an average Everyday Phoning Facility. Wow...this room looks very green! this is a perfect pirate place for any pirate. It will especially make them "calmer" with all of the trees xD

Snow Forts: Get your sailing power her. These sailing Forts are fun for throwing snowballs. Ready...set...fire! Woah, I'll definitely be using this sometime with other penguins...just kidding! ;D The little lake in the middle with the two ships make a perfect environment for battlers.

The Plaza: Here we are at the Plaza. It's a Prate's playground! Adopt a shipmate at the Pet shop... catch a play at the Stage... or enjoy a pirate's feasr at the Pirate Pizza! Awesome! This pirate village makes me feel right at home. I especially love the way the buildings have been transformed. Only if Club Penguin could have added a small stream like the one coming down the Town. Still, the Plaza looks awesome! Hmm, all of this tour-guiding is making me hungry! Let's pop into the Pirate Pizza place to get something to eat:

Pizza Parlor: Arr! Welcome to the pirate's pizza maytees! Order a larrrge fish dish pizza, or go behind that door to play Pizzatron 3000! Woah...this looks more like a dangerous pizza catching trap, but I still like it! xD The gold is amazing. There's even a small place to catch up with your pirate mate and chat with a cup of tea.

The Forest: Welcome to the Forest where sailors set up to camp! Look at the friendly fireflies.Climb the latter to visit the Tree Forts, or push the rock to discover a hidden place. Wow, boy is this a true forest. With a rive running down the middle, and trees everywhere...this makes for a perfect camping trip! Let's push that rock to uncover the hidden lake.

Hidden Lake: Wow! This must be the hidden lake.It's a mermaid treasure's cove! I wonder what that crab is up to. Woah, this crabby place looks awesome! You can play a mini game with the crab here. Here's how you play:

First, you have to buy the blue crab costume in the hidden lake...

The rare Blue Crab costume currently cost 50 coins! Get it now, your forever regret never buying it!

Would you like to buy the Blue Crab for 50 coins. Yesh please...I will never be able to get this costume again! Okay, the third step is to put your blue (or red) costume on. Once you put it on, the crab will start to hold a message:

Watch closely! Okay...then the shells will start to move in random directions:

Find the blue gem! Right now, there seems to be some sort of bug going on, and we cannot ever get a "right" answer even thought it's right.Club Penguin better fix this soon!

Island Adventure Party Bugs?

Beta Team Update - What's New Blog Update

Remember when we mentioned Beta Team a few posts ago? We've added some new prototypes to the site for you game testers!

If you haven't come across the Beta testing site yet, click here... Here are some things to remember while testing:

The only way to log onto Beta Team is by finding a hidden link on the blog...
Only a certain number of penguins can test at the same time
There's a 10 minute timer on the site at the moment, so you may get disconnected while playing some of the rough prototypes
There will be bugs, because it's a test site!

Laser Command: Here's a game we're thinking of creating for the EPF.Rate this game 1-5 (5=most fun, 1=not fun) What did you like about it? What did you dislike about it?

Hmm, well the opening screen looks pretty cool! Let's click on continue to see what this game is like.

Wow, just wow. I think that this game won't do very well with the EPF. Either this has a major bug, or it's Club Penguin's not-so-good idea. I can't move, or do anything but stare at the flashing arrows, so I'm thinking that this is a Beta Team bug. The colors/graphics for this post aren't too good for the idea of the EPF. Overall, I think this would be a good game if the bug was let out, and there weren't too many contrast colors.

I think that these games are pretty good! I like them, they just have to have a little bit of updating...but I hope that one day these games will get integrated on our EPF Spy Phones.

Club Penguin Island Adventure Party Sneak Peeks

Happy77 has posted a new video on the What's New Blog, and there are some sneak peeks that Club Penguin Dynamite was able to get off of the video...a few were quite interesting. This is the video Happy77 posted:

If you look very closely at the video, you will notice a few interesting things...

If you can see, the new Club Penguin map has the "Island Adventure Party" logo at the top, and a button that says, "Go there". This looks like a new map feature!

There is also very interesting in this video...throughout the video, you will notice that Happy77 is chasing a crab...but to me it seems to me that it's Klutzy all along!

Follow the video, and you will notice that Happy77 is following this mysterious crab!

Thanks Happy77 for this Sneak Peek. I can't wait until the Adventure Party...I think that we will find lots of interesting things (and crabs) at the party!

Rockhopper and Yarr (Finally) Become Visable

After many rounds of throwing the Flame Throwers, Rockhopper and Yarr have become visible to us penguins. Come up to The Beacon, look through the telescope, and you will find Rockhopper's ship coming right this way! Come this way...

It seems like Club Penguin forgot to bring the Migrator for the beginning, because The Migrator wasn't there for the first part of the sighting. Let's look through the telescope to see what Rockhopper has to bring us.

The ship looks awesome, but no plants this time--I wonder if Rockhopper will every bring plants like during the Adventure Party in 2009.

We need to keep our eyes peeled, Rockhopper might be bringing something very special this time...let's keep ourselves up-to-date with news, and we need to make sure to check every part of the ship once he comes on.

Thanks Happy77 for this amazing YouTube video! I am working on my igloo to make it adventurous! The most adventurous igloo I am going to work on is the mermaid cave...add lots of trees, and extra details to make it even better! :-)

Speaking of fabulous igloos, the new furniture catalog is out now! Can't wait to see what kind of igloos you come up with next! :)
