ekspresi merupakan hal yang penting harus kita ajarkan kepada balita karena agar mereka tahu dan mengerti bahwa kita sedang sedih,marah, bahagia, sebaiknya kita ajarkan sedini mungkin agar mereka dapat mengetahui bagaimana mereka harus bersikap atau bertingkah laku di kemudian hari atau saat mereka berinteraksi dengan orang lain atau teman sebayanya. ini merupakan dasar yang harus kita ajarkan kepada anak kita karena secara tidak langsung kita mengajarkan kepada mereka bagaimana cara mereka bertindak atau menyelesaikan masalah saat mereka membuat seseorang marah atau kesal kepada dirinya. Ini salah satu kemandirian dari seorang anak, selain itu mereka juga tidak tergantung atau takut bertingkah/ragu dalam menyelesaikan masalahnya, hal yang sepele tetapi berguna.

Kadang kita sebagai ayah/papa/papi suka egois dengan anak,istri dan kita hanya sibuk sendiri,hal itu tidak ubahnya dengan diri saya,mengapa kita sama karena kita memiliki kebutuhan yang kita prioritaskan. Bermain dengan anak saat kita sibuk kadang menjengkelkan dan mengesalkan malah dapat memancing emosi diri kita, sama atau tidak perasaan tersebut dengan anda ?coba anda renungkan..
Mengapa anak perlu bermain dengan kita ayah/papi/papanya ?
karena mereka butuh kasing sayang kita,mereka butuh kita belai, mereka butuh tertawa,ceria dengan kita. Jika kita bermain hanya setengah hati mereka akan tahu dan dapat marah dengan kita,seperti saya dengan putri saya yang berumur 2 tahun, ia akan marah dan meninggalkan saya sendiri saat saya bermain hanya setengah hati. saat itu dia merasa kecewa..anda mau ngulang kembali rasa itu? tentu tidak. jadi bermainlah sepenuh hati selain dia mengetahui bahwa kita sayang anak kita,dia juga dapat belajar dari kita dan kadang kita bisa belajar ketulusan dari anak kita.

Mendidik disiplin anak harus sedini mungkin agar ia mengerti dan mematuhi atauran,itu bukan pekerjaan yang mudah,mengapa?
karena kita sebagai orang tua harus mencontohkan secara langsung, jika kita aja tidak disiplin dan kita meminta ia disiplin maka akan sulit dan akan protes. belajar dari pengalaman saya waktu saya mengajarkan ia membereskan mainannya sulit sekali dan harus dengan beberapa tahap,yaitu :
1. anak jangan dimarahi
2. kita juga membantu anak utnuk membereskan mainannya
3. sambil membereskan kita jelaskan mengapa harus dibereskan mainannya
4. kita juga harus mencontohkan kepada anak kita bertanggung jawab juga terhadap benda yang sering kita gunakan.

cara mengajarkan disiplin kepada anak dari hal yang kecil-kecil terlebih dahulu, seperti menaruh mainannya pada tempatnya, membuang sampah pada tempatnya, tetapi ingat jangan dipaksa agar dia menurut kepada kita karena akan menimbulkan kesan bahwa hal tersebut tidak mengasikkan,buat hal tersebut mengasikkan.
