Frost/Nixon

2010-10-10T05:32:00.000-07:00

I just watched Frost/Nixon the other night. It's a very interesting movie.

I've never seen the actual interviews, but I think I will now.

Anyone else like this movie? It's not action-packed or anything, just amazing acting.

Busy with work today

2010-09-29T12:16:00.000-07:00

Don't have too much time for post today. I work at a Qdoba. For those of you who don't know, that is a mexican grill.

I'm the only white fellow that works there and no one is too fluent in English, just enough to get by and same goes for me and Spanish.

Not going to be working there permanently. Just makin money to get through school.

Anyone else have interesting work experiences?

Your biggest time-sink game

2010-09-28T11:42:00.000-07:00

A game I love and always will love is Oblivion. I have spent so many hours replaying this game I don't even want to think about it. What games have you spent more time on than anything else?

Yesterday Today

2010-09-27T16:16:00.000-07:00

Feelin off today. The song is not much of a pick-me-up, but I love it regardless.

You Make My Dreams

Love the movie. Especially this scene. Thoughts?

SATs

2010-09-25T06:55:00.000-07:00

I'm going to be taking the SATs soon and I've been trying to practice with what time I have.

I plan on doing really well, but wouldn't mind hearing your experiences and thoughts.

Hey!

2010-09-19T06:05:00.000-07:00

Sorry I've been neglecting you guys :(

I've been really busy lately and had no time. I'll try to keep up now and spread some more love to you guys :D

The Halo books

2010-09-13T12:40:00.000-07:00

I've read four of the Halo books and I am currently reading Ghosts of Onyx. As mentioned in a previous post, I am a fan of the Halo universe, but not what Bungie is doing with it.

I'm going to continue reading the books, but I would like to hear your opinions on them and on Halo in general. Or possibilities of how Microsoft will continue the series.

Busy Today

2010-09-12T08:15:00.000-07:00

Hello! I gotta study then go to work today so I don't have much time to give you something to talk about. So I'll give you this...

Also, I heard about some referral site that gives you $50 for joining and $5 per person referred. Dunno if its good or not, just thought I'd bring it to your attention.

Your repeatable movies

2010-09-11T07:26:00.000-07:00

Over time I see a lot of movies (for free when I can) but occasionally there are movies that I'm perfectly alright with seeing several times over.

Usually just because it's on tv again, but besides that, what are your favorite movies that you love watching all the time?

Mine is Slumdog Millionaire

Halo Reach

2010-09-09T06:33:00.000-07:00

I, like a lot of people can't wait for Halo: Reach. But, as a person who read the books and understands the depth of the universe that Bungie created, doesn't it seem like a waste for their final Halo?

There is still so much in the story that has yet to be explained and for their last big Halo game they make a prequel? Just seems nonsensical to me with respect to the story.

Philip K. Dick

2010-09-07T12:46:00.000-07:00

I am a huge fan of Philip K. Dick. He has written many very interesting books so ahead of his time that it is remarkable at times. He's my favorite right next to Robert Heinlein.

I'd like to hear thoughts from other fans or anyone who is curious. And while you're at it you may talk about your favorite authors and books.

(500) Days of Summer
