		<title>DOE Announces Webinars on H-Prize Safety Guidelines, Fuel Economy Resources, and More</title>
		<description><p>The Energy Department will present a live webinar titled "H2 Refuel 
H-Prize Safety Guidance" on Thursday, August 6, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 
p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.  This webinar will discuss safety planning and 
information criteria that should be included in the safety plan document 
that contestants are required to provide.   Attendees will participate in a 
discussion lead by members of the hydrogen safety panel that will review 
codes and standards.  Questions can be submitted in advance to 
HPrize@ee.doe.gov or asked during the webinar. <a

<p>The Energy Department will also present a live webinar titled 
"FuelEconomy.gov Website – Overview of Tools and Information" on 
Thursday, August 6, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time.  
This webinar explains the features and tools available on 
FuelEconomy.gov, the government’s official source for fuel economy 
aimed at helping the public make informed car-buying decisions and 
achieve the best possible fuel economy from the vehicles they own. <a

		<title>Energy Department Awards More Than $1 Million to Three States to Establish Clean Energy Manufacturing Roadmaps</title>
		<description><p>In support of President Obama's goal of doubling U.S. 
energy productivity by 2030, the Energy Department today 
announced new awards of more than $1 million to three states 
to advance clean energy manufacturing in their regions. This 
effort will help create economic development opportunities in 
local communities to significantly increase statewide energy 
savings and spur investment in clean energy technologies.

Energy Efficiency with Financial Decision-makers" on Tuesday, 
October 1, from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight

Company, University of California at Irvine, and Kohl's will 
share best practices for communicating the value of building 
energy efficiency projects and working with financial decision-

the redesigned Bioenergy Knowledge Discovery Framework 
(KDF) and provide attendees with an overview of the site, a
