I have been playing this album an awful lot this last week. This is one of the albums that is produced by the same producer from front to back. The Left consists of an MC(Journalist 103), DJ(DJ Soko) and a producer (Apollo Brown). Journalist 103 isn't the best rapper you've ever heard but he takes nothing away from the stellar production that Apollo Brown provides and that is all you really need. Throw in guest features from Kool G Rap and Guilty Simpson and we have another refreshing album out of Detroit. Is there an area doing it better than them over the last few years?

But it was reported more recently that Wayne was released from Riker's Island this morning. Word is he is heading to Vegas and will be performing at a Drake show tonight. The gib question is, which Lil' Wayne will we be getting on the mic when he starts releasing music? I think it is going to start out with some "Freestyles" in which we will hear a foused Dedication 2 type of style featured below. Hopefully after that we get an album like Carter II and not some bullshit like Lollipop

Titus Andronicus is a band I heard about in March from a high rating on Pitchfork. I checked them out and really enjoyed their sound. The Monitor eventually became one of my favorite albums of 2010. This band from Glen Rock, NJ with some Boston roots was named one of Rolling Stones Best New Bands of 2010.

hahaha this is perfect. Tim Westwood for those that don't know is a 52 year old british dude who hosts the biggest Hip-Hop radio show in England. His fake "Black British" (as the British call it) accent is also the inspiration for the voice Sasha Baron Cohen used for the character Ali G. While in general I like Drake as an artist I think the dude is a clown and frankly, watching him rap makes me uncomfortable.

Mannequin's Wardrobe Malfunction Draws Complaints

BEATRICE, Neb. – Residents who complained about a nearly naked female store mannequin prompted police to conceal the window display and stirred a debate about obscenity. Police covered the window at Hannah's Treasures for about a day last week after several people in the southeast Nebraska city of 12,500 complained about themannequin with a pair of pants around its ankles and wearing shoes but no other clothing.

City Attorney Tobias Tempelmeyer said Monday he had yet to receive all the police reports on the semi-naked mannequin.

"We're not able at this point to issue a determination whether it's obscene or not," Tempelmeyer said.

The owner of the closed shop later dressed the offending mannequin in a bikini.

Store owner Kevin Kramer's lawyer, Dustin Garrison, didn't immediately respond to a message Monday, but he told the Beatrice Daily Sun that Kramer might sue over the dispute.

"Nothing about a naked mannequin constitutes obscenity," Garrison said to the Beatrice Daily Sun. "I think we've all gone into a department store and seen a naked mannequin at one point in our lives."

Kramer said the shop in Beatrice was closed because he was in the process of moving his business to Lincoln.

Tempelmeyer said the dispute was resolved amicably, and that he was OK with the mannequin wearing a bikini.

Fucking seriously people???? A mannequin is considered obscene?

We have reached a point where shit like this is getting ridiculous. People in Europe cruise around naked all the time and the kids are fine there. Another example of what George Carlin would call "The pussification of America". People are so sensitive and worried about what their kids are gonna see out in the real world but they close their eyes in their house and don't notice when junior is fucking prostitutes on GTA Lynn.

If anything your kid is just gonna go home and think nothing of the mannequin. Whats that worst that can happen? Your 12 year old is gonna put the image in his spank bank and "take his talents to South Beach" when he gets home? Could be worse

Oh and obviously that isn't a picture of the scene in Nebraska. Their mannequins are probably more along the lines of this

And I hope the store owner sues the pants off whoever he can just because and makes that town the next Cleveland.
