The Sony NEX FS700 in post production for FCP was relatively straight forward, however as the NEX-FS700 is a new camera and I thought it worthwhile to talk about our post workflow for this project. We shot VS on a pre production NEX-FS700 with Carl Zeiss CP.2 lenses. The recording format was both internal using the native AVCHD codec at 24Mbs, which is much more efficient than expected and produces a very clean output for a majority of situations. I am constantly impressed just how well the native ACVHD codec of both the FS100 and also the FS700 has been in post. The edit was done in Final Cut Pro 7 with the AVCHD media ingested via Log and Transfer to ProRes 422.

There was one problem, however. Some 1080/50 fps AVCHD clips grayed out in L&T window and we were not able to ingest them to FCP 7 until we used third-party encoder to change thesehttp://www.pavtube.com/convert-mts-avchd-files.html. In case you have the same problem, I’d share the workflow here.

Architectural suggestion

Hi to all,

Image you have this situation:

you have your webserver with your db and application and your domain; then there are many affiliates domains and you can access in them (different by your domain).

These domains ask you a service (they pay for it) starting from their website, this request have to go through your webserver to log the request (and other operations) and have to go to your supplier; the supplier give you a response and you have to return to original affiliates domains with response.

Final result is the display of a html page, as you ask the display of a newspaper article.

All this in realtime, no queue.

I need a suggestion: what is the best (or the possible) architectures to build this situation?

ISA Server Multiple LAN - NAT via another External Interfaces

Hello,

I’m in a Multi vLAN environment where I have deployed ISA Server 2006 Enterprise Edition with two arrays. Currently we have two proxy infrastructure one for our students and the second one for our staff each proxy is going via different ISP.

I want to merge both the students who are sets on different vLAN “Wireless LAN” and staff vLAN to go through single proxy infrastructure which is the 2006 EE.

In the current situation, by adding static route of staff 192.168.12.0 and students 10.10.0.0 to the ISA Server, both the networks can go through this proxy. But, both the LANs goes via single External Interface and single ISP.

Is it possible to hook physical LAN connections of both vLAN 192.168.12.0 and 10.0.0.0 to the ISA Server and create Internal LAN for each of the range and NAT each LAN to different External Interface?

So, 192.168.12.0 is NAT-ed via External-1-ISP1 and 10.10.0.0 is NAT-ed via External-2-ISP2?

And by utilizing IP Binder I can determined the rule based on AD/user group Authentication to select which external interface it goes?

SCOM: Reporting on website 'down-time'

I have monitors set up for various websites using Microsoft System Center Operations Manager which works as expected.

The next obvious step (at least for me) would be to setup reporting on the uptime/downtime, for example:

Website 1 was down 2% of the time in the last month.

I have searched on Google but cannot find even a hint that this is possible. I know that such statistics are stored in the database so it must (at least in theory) be possible.

Can anyone provide a bit of guidance on this please? read more

to project.reg. I created a thin client device then added rndis function client driver from the catalog, and then downloaded the image to the target x86 system. I was able to move the USB mouse but when I plugged in the rndis wifi device I couldn't see the device under networking management or ipconfig. I looked in the registry every thing seems in order but when I listed the modules I didn't see rndisfn.dll. Could you give me some clues as of what has gone wrong? Thanks.
