.Net Architect / Team Lead

The .Net Architect / Team Lead will lead the development team for new application development as well as packaged, custom, and 3rd party integration and development.

• Responsible for n-tier application architecture for new applications
• Analyze, design and develop a variety of application solutions for enterprise applications for client facing and internal applications in a .Net environment
• Collaborate with the project delivery teams throughout project lifecycles to ensure architectural compliance.
• Provide leadership to ensure that analysis and design specifications align with industry best practices.

MAJOR FUNCTION: 

The Web Support Developer will be responsible for building and deploying new applications for our Consumer, Business and Media business segments, as well as updating, enhancing and addressing bugs or issues with existing applications, pages and content on our websites. The ideal candidate will also need to demonstrate strong communication skills and will have experience with both waterfall and agile development methodologies.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Develop and deploy new Internet applications and content, manage Internet development projects and maintain and update existing applications at the direction of the Web Development Manager.
• Assist the Web Development Manager and other developers in planning, scheduling, coordinating and deploying Internet applications, content and projects.
• Research and recommend new technologies, solutions, upgrades and additions required to develop and deliver Internet applications, content and services.
• Research and recommend upgrades and additions to the server and network infrastructure required to develop and deliver local Internet content, applications and services to accommodate growth and provide for redundancy.
• Gather and organize input and information from and facilitate communication and interaction with appropriate parties in the development of Internet applications, content and services. Serve as a liaison between the Web Strategy and Development team and other Bright House Networks functional areas and entities.
• Pursue a Total Quality Management (TQM) approach to development of Internet content, applications and services through which such content is continually refined and improved to meet and exceed the needs of customers.
• Assist and cooperate with members of marketing, public affairs, operations and customer support teams in coordination of crisis control efforts for outages, services disruptions, network downtimes and other critical issues.

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Four-year college degree, work in progress toward a degree or equivalent work experience is required.  Computer science or related degree preferred.
• At least one year of experience working in Web site, application and/or Internet development is required.
• Excellent verbal & written communications skills required.
• Excellent customer service/computer technology skills required.

Sr. Build Engineer -

This position is responsible for defining and leading the migration of software source control and business processing application from Serena’s PVCS to Microsoft’s Team Foundation Server (TFS). Work with all IT groups to develop software build best practices, standards, procedures, and tools. Work closely with development teams and infrastructure team on projects to define, to provide guidance to, and to manage software build strategies and plans. Manage the software build program, script automated software builds, and conduct development tool evaluation and selection efforts (i.e. automated software build tools, bug tracking, software development, etc). Work with other IT groups to define, implement, and maintain development and test environments for applications.
