What's New - February 12, 2009

New items added to the eGovernment Resource Centre week ending February 12, 2009.

Welcome to the second newsletter for 2009. It is short but good. We in Victoria have had a horrible week. We have lost at least 181 people to bush fires. More than 1000 homes have been burned to the ground. Thousands of people no longer have a place they call home. I lived in Flowerdale, one of the towns razed to the ground, for 10 years until recently. My friends have lost homes, my daughters have lost friends. Tonight as I write this we have an appeal to raise money to help those affected by the fires. For more information on how you can help please visit Victoria Online - Victorian Bushfires How you can help.
